A black object absorbs all colors and a white object reflects back all light. And hence a black and white object appears so. Our [1]

eye retains an image for approximately 1/25th of a second on the retina . Therefore, when the flywheel is rotated, all the colors

appear to get intermixed to be seen as white light.

Will it affect if the order of colors marked on the flywheel is changed?

[2]Animation is the rapid display of a sequence of images to create an illusion of movement . This illusion is also due to persistence [3]

of vision. Usually images move at 24, 25 and 30 frames per second .

You can also use a thick paper or plastic cup instead of the film can.
