    1. Introduction

Flexi Multiradio BTS is a Multiradio/Multicarrier BTS that can operate in GSM, WCDMA or LTE in

dedicated or concurrent mode. This BTS utilizes modular Flexi BTS platform design principles

common with Flexi Multiradio BTS GSM/EDGE a, Flexi WCDMA Node-B or Flexi LTE eNode-B

base stations. The BTS uses a Multicarrier Power Amplifier and delivers high power efficiency for

medium to large configurations. The BTS uses two identical RF modules for three sectored site.

Here, this document will highlight the installation of LTE-TDD Flexi Multiradio BTS based on

    Customer requirements.

    2. Occupational Health & Safety

Safety Procedures are detailed documents to cover the implementation of safe systems of work. As

such they constitute a mandatory element in the attainment of the required safety standards given

either by industrial standards or by law.

The project safety procedures are to ensure utmost safety of all individuals, materials, machines,

vehicles, environment and the Customers property.

The Project Health & Safety Coordinator or the designated person will ensure that

the safety procedures are kept up to date and under constant review in the light of a feedback from

operational experience and from safety audit reports. Changes will be initiated where existing

safety procedures are found to be inadequate or in need of improvement.

    13. RF Jumper installation:

The weather protection kit on the existing antenna connectors has to be removed prior

to the MDT (Activity to be done with the approved TCN no: ) . The RF jumper connection

between the FZHA module and the antenna will be done during the MDT.

All RF jumper cables have to be properly routed without any loop and should be secured

with proper clamps and cable ties.

Super flex jumper cables are used with 7/16 straight male/female connectors & Right

    angle male connectors.

The jumpers from the FZHA RFM are connected to the Antenna ports.

The band used for LTE-TDD is ranging from 2582 to 2602 MHz, with a bandwidth of

    20MHz.

Each sector will be having 4 jumpers, based on the requirement.

Jumper connectivity: Ant 1 to Ant4 will be used for sec-A, Ant-5 to Ant-8 will be used for

Sec-B from the first RF module and the sec-C will be powered by first 4 ports of the

    second RFM.

The existing BPFs will be bypassed physically during the installation.

All jumpers should be routed through the bottom side of the FZHA cover.

None of the cable will be routed through the top part and this prevents the entry of dust

and water, thereby providing IP55 protection.

All connectors should be properly connected and tightened with 25Nm torque.

QN connectors are used at the RFM side. Just push the QN jumper connector to the RFM

port for quick lock. Make sure that you receive a CLICK!!! sound for mating security.

All the jumpers are labeled as per standard & secured with Cable ties

Regardless of the RF module, the ports labelled Ant-1,3,5,7 are connected to -45o port of

the antenna and the ports Ant-2,4,6,8 to the +45o port of the antenna
