Warm-UpLeaders, some brain and optical
illusions?!Synthesize..
The "illusion" is that this is just a picture of coffee beans; but it is
not. Can you find a man's face among the beans? Some say that if you find the man
in 3 seconds or less, the right half of your brain may be more well developed than most.
PS: This is not a trick. A man's face is really hidden among the beans.
How many legs does this elephant have?
skull? Or a woman looking into a vanity
mirror?
Are you Ready for the future!?

Scenariosactivity 3
(Role plays of the five minds!)
Instructions: For each scenario, we need the specified number of volunteers to improvised a given situation, making use of the five minds that Gardner discussed.
Each improvisation is to be heavily based on one specific mind, however, participants are strongly encouraged to utilize more than one mind in their performance.
Audience members will then discuss how the minds were portrayed.
Previous leadership themes
In our previous readings, we have learned about a variety of leadership strategies:
Machiavelli’s totalitarianism
Hanh’s urging to live by the five virtues
Fullan’s business-oriented model of leadership
Wheatley’s quantum model of leadership
So, what is the relationship between those themes and
Gardner’s five minds?(Closing discussions)
In your groups, please take 10 minutes, and use your synthesizing and disciplined minds to discuss and answer the following:
When it comes to leadership, why are the five minds important?
Analyze each mind with your group to find out how they are linked to our previous readings.
Now, Draw a linking picture to add to the “story-lines,” from previous presentations, at the back of the room.
