1 Introduction This document contains a list of the NBS features supported by FiservEFT and the minimum NBS software, by release number, required for any bank to connect to the FiservEFT host. Lists of the enhancements, fixes, restrictions and known problems are included for each software release.

1.1 Audience This document is written for ATM network, VAR and financial institution personnel who are deploying NBS, as well as NH Professional Services personnel who are supporting those deployments.

• [GMNFE-86] Made improvements to Cash Adjustment messages to properly reflect what actually happened at the cassettes vs. what should have happened at the cassettes.

• [GMNFE-87] Updated Balance Inquiry and Mini Statement to allow chaining and buffering

9.4 Fixes The following fix was included in this release.


GMNFE-85 Statements not printing at terminal even though device handler sends the correct info; on the ATM the transaction is not successful, misleading information displays on the screen and wrong receipt is provided to the customer.

• [GMNFE-93] Added the option to mask the PAN data in the Deposit.xml file, leaving the first 6 and last 4 digits unmasked and masking all digits in between with 0s.

11.4 Fixes The following fixes were included in this release.


GMNFE-90 A blank receipt was printing before a denial message was displayed on the screen for a PIN Authentication.

GMNFE-91 Negative balances did not include the negative sign when printed on receipts.

GMNFE-92 The terminal was printing rear balancing information on all receipts.
