Prologue
“PFFT!!”
Smokes emitted from the stage and the audiences went wild. Screams and loud cheers can be heard
from the ocean of pink. It was extremely hot as it was a summer night and especially in the outdoor
stadium which was packed with approximately twenty thousand fans. But nobody seemed to care.
In the stage lift, the nine members of Girls Generation stood in their own position waiting for their time
to come out. “Ready girls…” The girls received the cue from their headsets.
“It’s show time!” Taeyeon smiled as the nine angels jumped onto the stage bringing the audiences
wilder.

There started the concert. The girls were doing their best to entertain their favorite sones and they were
starting to sweat even it was just the start of the concert.
Sunny’s eyes were flickering, searching in the sea of audiences to find the certain thing she had been
looking forward to. Careful not to make any mistakes in her dance moves, she been through almost
every light-boards she can see in the audiences. Frustrated as she couldn’t find her target, Sunny
frowned a bit, following the dance routine and turned to another site of the stage.
And then her eyes widened, finally found what she had been looking for.
There, among all the light-boards, the only one which never failed to catch Sunny’s attention, was heldproudly in the middle of the ocean of pink. Sunny’s lips can’t help but crooked into a smile.
Sunny, thank you for being the sunshine in my gloomy day.

Chapter 1
Flashback…
It was when the girls had their first Asia tour, to be specific, the last stop for their tour, in Taipei,
Taiwan.
“Okay girls, let’s complete our first tour perfectly.”Taeyeon, as the kid leader, smiled to the girls.
The girls nodded. They stood in circle, holding onto each others’ hand, and began to pray.
Sunny smiled. Peeking at other girls whom had became important persons in her life, she felt
contented.
“I don’t care about what others say, as long as my angels are there for me.” She was thinking of her
family, and of course her beloved fellow members.
Yes, at that time, rumors were still spreading. Rumors about how she got her place in Girls Generationwith her relations with the chairman of SME, which was also her uncle. Rumors that not only hurt her,
but also her family and the members.
“Stupid rumors…”She mumbled under her breathe, when she thought of the harms rumors had done
to her and her loved ones.
She then felt a gentle squeeze on her right hand. She looked up and met Tiffany’s gaze, which
immediately turned into the famous eye-smile. Sunny smiled back knowing the brunette was
encouraging her.
“Yeah, I should be grateful that I have the girls.” Her eyes softened looking at her fellow members.
“It’s time. Now get out there and show them what you got!”Their manager came in and shouted
enthusiastically, interrupting Sunny’s train of thoughts.
“Yes, manager Oppa!”The girls replied and shouted ‘Hwaiting’ before finally stepping out onto the
stage.
“Annyeong-haseyo, Taeyeon imnida!”Taeyeon bowed, when it was their time to introduce themselves.
“I’m Jessica! Hello Taiwan!”Jessica waved to their fans.
When it’s Sunny’s turn, she stepped out awkwardly with her heart thumped like there’s no tomorrow.
She held up her mic, trying to use her aegyo to hide her awkwardness.
“Annyeong! Sunny imnida!”

The audiences cheered as well, much to Sunny’s relieve. She took the opportunity to scan through the
stadium. It was an ocean of pink, as usual, with numerous pink light-sticks and light-boards in it.
Scanning through the light-boards, she realized most of them were for their kid leader, Taeyeon.
“She sure has the biggest fan-base…” Sunny thought, not that she was jealous of the other danshin, well,
she was envious.
She tried to search for any light-boards designated for her. But before she could find any, the intro of
“Kissing you” began to play, interrupted Sunny in her search.
The girls were having fun on the stage, and in a blink of eye, they had reached the end of the concert.
For their encore song, they sang “Complete” as their last performance.
The girls moved freely on the stage while singing to greet the fans. Sunny went to the west side first
and greeted their avid fans. She scanned through the light-boards unconsciously again while waving to
the fans.
“Oh! There’s one!” She eventually found one with her name on it. She excitedly waved towards the
light-board and gave her best smile.
Enthusiastically, she went on the search for the second one, if any.
She almost ran through the whole stage before she found what made her heart goes crazy.
Sunny, no names fit you more ‘cause you brightened up my day.

“Did you guys saw it? Did you? Did you?!”Sunny was literally jumping all around and questioning all her
fellow members since the moment they ended their concert.
“It’s just ONE light-board, what are you so exciting about?”Taeyeon showed her ahjumma’s laugh.
“There was TWO!”Sunny retorted, “And HE wrote something special! He said I brightened his day!”The
petite girl screamed excitedly while waving her hands on the air vigorously, “I feel like I AM important
at least to someone after all! ”
Tiffany, sitting on the couch beside them, hands supporting her chin, exclaimed enviously, “Aww, Iwant a fan like him too, it’s just so romantic!” She sighed.
Suddenly she felt her cheeks were being pinched by someone.
“Yah! Kim Tae Yeon!! Why did you do that?!” She whined holding on her stinging cheeks.

Chapter 2
Sunny walked out of her room that is shared with Taeyeon. Apparently, she wasn’t sleepy yet and the
sleeping Taeyeon was not entertaining her. She walked lazily into their dorm’s living room. It was quiet
and she didn’t notice a figure sitting on the sofa.
She stood still for awhile thinking what should she do at that time, it was nearly 12am already. Bored,
she decided to open the television to search for something to watch.
Walking towards the television, Sunny finally saw the sitting figure on the sofa.
“Oh Gosh! You scared me!!” She exclaimed, hands on her chest.
“Hehe... merong!”Jessica stuck her tongue out; hands holding on her phone. She patted the place beside
her, offering the sit for Sunny.
“Why are you still awake at this kind of time?”Jessica asked.
“Can’t sleep. How about you?”Sunny sat down, tried to take a peek on the blonde’s phone.
Jessica immediately held her phone away from Sunny’s sight, shooting deadly laser from her narrowed
eyes.
“What?”Sunny pouted, “What are you hiding??... ...Wait, Ok Taecyeon?”
Jessica blushed at the mention of her current boyfriend.
“O...kay...” Sunny folded her arms. She had always against Jessica’s relationship with Taecyeon. But she
said nothing, decided to just let Jessica handle her own business.
There was a moment of silence before Jessica spoke again.
“You should go to sleep, tomorrow is a big day.”She was referring to their upcoming concert in Seoul
tomorrow.
“Like you are sleeping.”Sunny teased with a smirk on her face. On the mention of the concert, a certain
silhouette popped out in her mind, as usual. Her lips crooked up unconsciously.
Jessica noticed that and immediately figured out what was on Sunny’s mind. She shook her head and
sighed.
“Come on, you should wake up from that dream of yours already.”
“What? What dream?”
“That prince charming of yours.”

“I know right? He’s so charming!”Sunny wasn’t paying attention to Jessica at all. Jessica rolled her eyes
in annoyance.
“I mean, you should stop this.” Jessica said bluntly.
“I... don’t understand...” Sunny frowned.
“I mean...” Jessica hesitated, she didn’t want to hurt Sunny but she felt that she needed to knock some
sense into her dongsaeng, “You don’t even know him... And think of who you are... I... I don’t want to
say this but... You know this will never work, you probably will never get to meet him after all...”
Sunny just sat there. She hated that everything Jessica had said was the truth. She knew this all along
but she had just ignored it.
“I... I know. I’m just...”Sunny sighed, her head hanging low.
Jessica reached out to ruffle the girl’s hair a bit. “It’s okay... Just... just don’t fall too deep into it...”She
went forward to give a hug, “I’m going to sleep now. You should go too.”
Sunny nodded and let Jessica pulled her out of the sofa. They both then went into their separate rooms.
Next morning...
“Gosh! Sunny you look terrible!” was the first thing Sunny heard when she came out from her room.
Out in the living room, the girls were busy preparing to leave for the concert. The manager was alsothere to hurry them up.
“What happened to you, Sunny?”The manager asked upon seeing Sunny’s exhausted face with dark
circles around her eyes.
“Nothing...”Sunny just replied nonchalantly, “I’m going to wash myself.”
“Okay, hurry up girls! We’re leaving in ten!” The manager shouted.
“Are you okay?” Tiffany asked worriedly. Sunny gave her an assuring smile and went into the bathroom.
Ten minutes later, the girls were all in their bus. Taeyeon sat down with Tiffany in the front row, while
Seohyun sat at the adjacent sit from them alone. Sooyoung sat behind TaeNy with Hyoyeon and Yoonyul
was across them. Sunny sat at the back row joined by Jessica who was worrying about her.
“Are you okay?” Jessica asked once she sat down.
“Yeah...” Sunny gave her a weak smile, “I’m just... I was thinking about what you said yesterday...”

Jessica felt sorry, “Sorry... You don’t have to dwell on it... I was just saying...”
“No, you were right...” Sunny shook her head, “You were right about everything, I should give up.”
Jessica patted Sunny on her head, “Well, don’t think too much, focus on our concert now, okay?”
Sunny nodded, trying to clear up her mind from the mysterious guy.
“Okay, just ignore whatever light-boards… You can do this!” Sunny thought to herself.
Soon, the concert started and Sunny was having a hard time not to glance at those numerous light-
boards in the ocean of pink. She tried to focus on the dance routine and lyrics, but her mind and eyes
were constantly switching to the light-boards.
“Maybe, I will just take one last glance…” Sunny thought while the concert was in its end. She nodded to
herself and began to search for THE light-board.
And she was sure that she had made the wisest decision in her life.
She gasped and her eyes widened, looking straight at the light-board.
“Am… am I dreaming?”

Chapter 3
Sunny blinked her eyes, wanting to make sure she didn’t just imagine what she saw. And apparently,
she missed her part in the performance.
Hyoyeon nudged her shoulder, making the frozen girl back to her senses. Sunny immediately regained
her position and tried hard to concentrate on the performance.
She was sweating harder than usual; her hands were cold from both the weather and her nervousness.
Her heart was pounding so hard as if it could break free from her ribcage.
Her mind basically went blank and she was just dancing and singing with her instinct. Sunny didn’t even
know how they ended the song.
Before they went to the backstage when they ended the concert, Sunny took another glance towards
the light-board.
She still couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
Sunny, I think I had fallen in love with you.

She felt dizziness upon seeing the light-board again. She was walking down to the backstage when she
stumbled a bit. Sooyoung was there and immediately caught Sunny in her arms.
“Are you okay?”Sooyoung had noticed Sunny’s odd behavior and was worrying about her.
“Yeah…” Sunny said with her hands rubbing her chest, trying to calm down her rapid heartbeat.
“You don’t seem like you’re okay…” Sooyoung frowned. She let the petite girl leaned on her and
headed to their standby room.
The girls were packing their stuffs and waiting for the group’s brief review on their performance today.
(A/N: I don’t know if they do the review thing but I write it anyways, just for the story’s sake.)
“Hey, Soonkyu! What happened??” Taeyeon first saw the two who just entered the room and caught
everyone’s attention to the two.
They all surrounded Sooyoung and Sunny, with worries written on their face.
“Sunny is not feeling well…” Sooyoung answered on behalf of Sunny.
“No, I’m just a little tired.”Sunny protested weakly.
“You don’t look like you’re just tired,” Taeyeon replied, hands on her waist, “I think you should skip the
review and go to the bus first.”

“Yes, you should go and rest…” The others spoke in unison.
Sunny was too weak to argue with them. She nodded and let Sooyoung carried her to the bus.
“Okay, you stay here and be good.”Sooyoung smiled after helping Sunny to sit on the back row of the
bus,”Rest.”
Sunny nodded, leaned her head on the side window. She waved to Sooyoung who took a packet of
chocolate biscuits before heading to the standby room.
Sunny sighed.
Her hands made their way to her chest again. Feeling the trembling heart in her chest, her mind flew
back to the moment she saw the light-board again.
“What is happening? Why do I feel this way? Is it possible?? I never met him but I’m already falling for
him? Is it possible?? ” She mumbled to herself while thousands of thoughts were playing in her mind.
“What does he mean when he said… he had fallen… for me?” The confused girl looked at the ceiling of
the bus frustrated, let out a sigh.
She closed her eyes and continue wandered her thoughts on.
“I can lie to others, but I can’t lie to myself… ” Sunny made a conclusion, “I AM falling for him…”
A weak smile appeared on her face. She looked out from the window; the parking lot was practically
deserted. She looked around and was surprised when she saw a figure walking down the parking lot
afar.
“Okay, NOW I am imagining things…” Sunny blinked her eyes a couple times when she saw what was
carried by the figure.
The figure was walking across the bus with something under his arms. Sunny couldn’t see clearly as
there were only dim street lights but she managed to catch what he was carrying.
The petite girl gasped as the rather tall and slender figure moved closer to the bus.
The thing he was carrying was non-other than THE light-board.
“It’s… IT’S HIM!!!”Sunny exclaimed and immediately stood up and went off the bus.
She hopped off the bus and yelled at the figure in grey hoodie, “HEY YOU!!”
The figure stopped upon hearing Sunny’s high-pitched scream and turned around.

“Ohh… we will do it as a favor for you!” The girl said with a smile on her face.
“But…” Sunny didn’t want to owe them any favor, “I will feel better if I can repay you.”
“In that case…” The girl thought, “Let’s be friends!”
Sunny stunned by her words.
“Friends? In what way?”
“Friends as in we can hang out with you, chat with you, and spend times with you!” The girl replied,
“Ohh, you do have to let us stick with you so that our investigation can be carried out well.”
Sunny looked back and forth to the speaking girl and the had-been-quiet-all-the-time-with-weird-faces-
since-the-beginning girl.
Eventually her heart won again. She held out her hand.
“Deal.”
The girl happily shook her hand.
“Deal!”
Sunny looked at the other girl. She hesitated but held out her hand as well. The taller girl had her head
hung low and she grabbed Sunny’s hand briefly before drew her hand back. Sunny found the girl
strange, and then she realized something.
“Hey, I still don’t know your names.”
“Ohh!” The talkative girl face palmed herself. “I am Soyeon, Park Soyeon.” She then nudged the girl
beside her.
“I-I-I am… Hyo-Hyomin…” The girl stuttered while blushing as she just touched Sunny’s hand.
“She’s Park Hyomin.” Soyeon repeated just in case Sunny heard Hyomin wrong.
“Okay… Nice to meet you! Soyeon-ssi and Hyomin-ssi!” Sunny flashed her eye-smile.

Chapter 4
“Are you crazy?!!” Hyomin snapped at Soyeon. They were already at their shared apartment.
“Nope.” Soyeon replied nonchalantly, flipping through her book.
“Detectives?!!! I’m a freaking PHOTOGRAPHER, Soyeon! What were you thinking?!!!” Hyomin kept on
grumbling.
Soyeon couldn’t take it anymore and put down her book.
“So how did you manage to stutter in front of her while you are complaining so fluently in front of
me?” Soyeon teased instead of answering Hyomin’s question.
Hyomin glared at her.
“You know why! It was HER!!”
“So I am helping you Hyo.”
“Ughhh!!” Hyomin grunted as she was speechless. She lied down on the couch beside Soyeon.
“How am I gonna face her... aishh!” Hyomin kept muttering with her eyes closed. She could feel her
heart beats madly even it was just a thought of her dream girl.
“What’s done is done, just face it.”
“But it’s your fault!! I never agreed with this!!”
“Well, you have to. So be it.”
“Aishhhh, I’m done talking with you!” Hyomin growled and went into her bedroom. She fell into her bed
and buried her face in her pillow.
Soyeon, much aware of her best friend personality, knew that Hyomin would dwell on the matter for a
long time and won’t be able to focus on anything else. And the latter had to work on the next day. She
sighed defeated, and went into Hyomin’s bedroom.
“Hey...” She peeked through the door.
“What?!”
“I’m sorry I pushed you into this situation...” Soyeon sat down on the side of Hyomin’s bed. “But I’m
doing this for you.”
Hyomin wasn’t mad at her but acted angry because she was frustrated with herself. She softened once
she heard Soyeon’s soft voice. But she stayed silent with her back facing Soyeon.

“Hey, everything’s gonna be alright,” Soyeon patted Hyomin’s back, trying to soothe her, “She thought
you were a boy you know?”
Hyomin chuckled recalling how shock they were when they found out Sunny thought she was a boy.
“So she will never found out it was you…” Soyeon said but on the second thought, “But we have to let
her know you ARE the guy.” She face palmed herself, “What should we do??”
“You are unbelievable.” Hyomin sighed.
“Anyways, we just have to make her fall in love with you.”
Hyomin sat up immediately with shock on her face, “What did you say?!!!”
“Err… We have to make her fall in love with you?”
“ARE YOU CRAZY?!!!!” Hyomin grabbed Soyeon’s collar.
“For the last time, I’m not.” Soyeon replied lamely.
“I can’t do that… I…” Hyomin took her pillow and buried her face in it again, “I’m not good enough for
her…”
“Oh please stop thinking like that, Hyo!” Soyeon grabbed the pillow from the sulking girl, “He’s a blind
jerk!”
“It’s not just because of him, Soyeon… I know I’m incompetent… ” Hyomin bitted her lower lips while
looking down on the floor.
Soyeon went forward and put her hand on Hyomin’s, “No one is perfect, and you are not useless! You
are a great friend, a professional photographer and you are the sweetest girl I have ever seen…” She
hugged her.
Hyomin wiped her tears and hugged back. “Thanks buddy.”
“No problem.” Soyeon smiled, “So are you ready to steal her heart?”
“SOYEON!!”
“Okay girls, enjoy the holiday, you got a fan meeting for “The Boys” album three days later, I will come
and pick you girls up.” The manager explained before heading out.
Sunny wanted to go into her room immediately but she was grabbed by Jessica.

“Explain yourself.” Jessica folded her arms.
Receiving stares from eight curious girls, Sunny sighed and started explain the whole incident.
“I know you told me to stop but I just can’t, and after tonight I know I shouldn’t give up, I will find him.”
Sunny said firmly.
“You were so close, Sunny!” Hyoyeon cried out. She was definitely immersed in the story.
“Don’t encourage her!” Jessica smacked Hyoyeon’s arm.
“But I don’t see any harm in it.” Tiffany said.
“Yeah, she just wants to find out who is ‘H’, right Sunny?” Sooyoung said and Sunny nodded.
“I’m okay with it.” The kid leader said when all eyes were on her.
“As long as unnie keeps it from the public.” Maknae added.
“Thanks.” Sunny mouthed to her beloved friends.
Jessica looked unbelievably at her fellow members. Her heart in fact did softened a bit when she heard
Sunny’s story. The look on Sunny’s face was so happy and joyful that melted her icy heart.
And now the gazes coming from the girls were just making her shudder. She put down her arms in
defeat.
“I will not be responsible for any aftermath.” She said and went into her room.
“YAY!” Sunny cried out holding her hands on the air. The others giggled at her action.
“Hey, are you alright?” The tall girl closed the door and went into the room.
“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” The blonde answered while drying her hair.
The tall girl stood there, unable to switch her gaze from the blonde. The way she tilted her head, the
way her fingers ran through her hair, the way her hair flew. Everything about her amazed the now-
drooling girl.
“Soo?” Jessica, done with her hair, turned to Sooyoung who was still standing in front of the door.
“Yeah?” Sooyoung snapped back and walked to her bed.
Jessica walked to her bed and sat down while biting her lips.

Chapter 5
“I’m going now, Soo…” Jessica looked at the mirror for the last time before she turned to the door.
“I’ll walk you to the door…” Sooyoung got up from her bed and walked out of their room.
The others were in the living room. Some were eating their late breakfast, which made the shiksin’s
tummy growled. And some were just chatting and discussing what they want to do for the rest of the
day.
“Where are you going, Sica?” Tiffany asked.
“Lunch…” Jessica blushed a bit, “…date…”
“With Taecyeon-ssi huh?” All the girls thought. “Be careful.”
“Yeah, I will.” Jessica replied and walked to the front door.
“Be safe.” Sooyoung said looking at Jessica who was wearing her heels.
“Okay, bye…” The blonde waved to the shiksin before walked out of their dorm.
Sooyoung sighed at the moment the door closed. Rubbing her tummy, the shiksin turned and walked
towards the living room.
“I’m hungryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!”
“Taeyawn pruparrrred summm peencyakkks, there’zuu steirr some in twaa kwitchoonn.” Yoona said
with mouthful of pancakes pointing to the kitchen.
Amazingly the chief shiksin understood her apprentice’s words; she went to the kitchen and picked up
the whole plate of pancakes prepared by Taeyeon and started to dig in.
She walked back to the living room and joined the other girls.
“What happened to her?” The shiksin pointed to the lifeless girl lying on the couch.
“Ahh… lovesick…” Yuri patted the girl’s head.
“Three days… I can’t see him for three days…” The sulking girl mumbled.
“Sunny-ah, three days will pass in a blink of eye…”
“Cheer up bunny!” Hyoyeon chirped while taking her last bite of her pancake, “How about an outing
today??”
“Amusement parkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!” Yoona had been craving to go to amusement park since forever.

Sunny bounced up from the couch once she heard the word “amusement park”. Her eyes were lighted
with excitement and a childlike smile unconsciously crept up on her face.
Yuri giggled on the sight of that, “Looks like the bunny likes the idea, I’m on then.”
“Count me in unnies.”Seohyun said, receiving disbelieving stares from the girls.
“Am I hearing it right? You want to go, Seo?”
“Yeah, I need to relax too, unnies.” The maknae chuckled at her unnies’ reactions.
“But I don’t want you girls to create commotions, you know how it gets if we’re out in public.”
“But Tae… it is Monday, there won’t be many people around the amusement park.”
“And we have to cheer up this lovesick danshin.” Hyoyeon said.
Taeyeon glanced at the pleading eyes of Sunny, sighed in defeat.
“Fine, just don’t do anything exaggerate.”
“You’re not coming?”
“Yeah, I’m planning to practice our new choreography; I still have some parts that I’m not familiar with.”
The kid leader smiled.
“You need me to stay?” Hyoyeon said feeling responsible.
“Nah, I’m okay by myself.” Taeyeon smiled.
“I’ll pass too.” Tiffany spoke, “Tired.”
“Soo?” Hyoyeon looked at the still-eating shiksin.
“Nawt meee!” Sooyoung said.
“Well then we better prepare now!”
Jessica found the café Taecyeon wanted to meet. The blonde with shades pressed down her hat a bit
before entering the café.
She found her boyfriend in the concealed corner of the café.
“Hey!” The well-built man waved to the blonde.

Jessica hastily walked to him and sat down. “Hi…” She smiled.
“Hi beauty…” Taecyeon showed his toothy smile and offer her the menu.
Jessica blushed a bit and hid her face behind the menu. Taecyeon smirked and leaned back. He looked
around as if he was expecting someone.
Jessica missed that and put down the menu decided on what she wanted to eat.
They had little chat while waiting for the food. Their conversations were nothing but a little about work,
the members, and a lot of Taecyeon’s sweet talking.
“Is your dad a thief?”
Jessica frowned at the question, “Of course not, why did you say that?”
“Because I’m sure he stole stars from the sky and put them in your eyes.” The cheeky guy smirked.
Jessica couldn’t find any humor in it; in fact she found that repellent. She rolled her eyes and sipped on
her drinks. That was the first time Taecyeon said something like that, before this he was just being all
shy and gentle. The ice princess didn’t understand why he changed all the sudden.
Taecyeon laughed awkwardly seeing Jessica’s reaction. He glanced around impatiently again.
Jessica noticed that. “What’s wrong?”
Taecyeon jumped a bit, “Oh nothing…just looking around.”
Jessica nodded and continued her lunch.
Taeyeon entered the small practice room they have in their dorm. (A/N: Just pretend that they have
one, shall we? :P)
She tied her hair in pony tail while walking to the CD player and put on their latest song “The Boys”.

“Oh hi, Fany-ah…” Taeyeon smiled too. She just felt relaxed seeing the cheerful Tiffany.
Tiffany sat down beside Taeyeon; she giggled noticing the all-sweated face of Taeyeon.
“Here.” She took the towel on Taeyeon’s neck and helped her to wipe the sweat on the latter’s
forehead.
Taeyeon stunned by their sudden closeness. She leaned back a bit causing Tiffany to look at her
questioningly.
“Oh,” Taeyeon blinked her eyes a few times, “I stinks.”
Tiffany clapped her hands while laughing out loud. “Oh my gosh, Tae you’re so cute!”
A hint of red stained the danshin’s cheek; she turned her head away in embarrassment.
Tiffany stood up smiling, “Come on, I want to practice too.”
She pressed the ‘Play’ button and pulled Taeyeon up.

Chapter 6
A group of five walked along the sidewalk. They had their shades on but the hats were being carried in
their hands seeing there’s not much local there.
“This is great, there’s just bunch of foreigners.” Seohyun happily stated.
“Told you we’ll be alright.” Hyoyeon smiled.
“Hey, let’s play that!!!” Yoona screamed excitedly pointing to the ride in front of them.
“What? NOOOOOOOOOOO!” Yuri whined at the sight of the rocket launcher tower.
“Come on Yuri! Don’t back out!” Hyoyeon was already running towards there.
“Wait! Maybe we can just start at something lighter, like that.” Sunny said, pointing at the 360degrees
roller coaster.
“Fine, that’s cool too.” Hyoyeon changed her direction and ran to the roller coaster instead.
After a series of “Kyaaaa” and “Ahhhh” and “Yahhhhhhhhhhh”, the girls came down from the ride
panting breathlessly.
“Next!” Hyoyeon chirped and ran towards other facilities energetically.
They almost gone through all of the rides before finally decided to rest and find something to eat. They
found a cozy diner and sat on their seats near the window.
“So what do you want to eat? I want a fish and chips set please.” Yuri asked.
“Sandwich and salad please.” Sunny said with her aegyo.
“I want a sweet potato combo meal please, unnie.”
“Alright maknae, I will have a burger with coke, how about you Yoona?” Hyoyeon jotted down their
choices on the paper provided.
“Umm, let me see.” Yoona flipped through the menu while calling up her food choices, “Okay, a set of
sandwiches, a fried noodle, french fries, a garden salad and an orange juice!” She closed the menu
smiling.
“Oh and umm… Large, for all of those.” Yoona added contented with herself.
“O…kay,” Hyoyeon tried hard to keep up with Yoona; she jotted down all their choices and passed it to
the waitress.
“I see you learned well, unnie.” Seohyun shook her head in disbelieve.
“If Sooyoung’s here too, I’m afraid they will run out of ingredients.” Yuri sighed.

“Well, you can’t beat the shiksins.” Yoona showed her alligator laugh.
They did noticed that Sunny haven’t spoke a word and just staring at somewhere outside, so Yuri
nudged her side.
“Yeah?” Sunny finally switched her gaze from whatever she was looking at.
“What was you looking at?”
“Ohh…” Sunny looked back to the thing, or the person she’d been staring at. “That girl there, she looks
familiar to me.”
“Her back… resembles… him?”
Sunny shook her head off, “That’s impossible.”
“What’s impossible?” Seohyun asked. Sunny just realized she spoke her thoughts out.
“Oh, I thought she…” Just then the girl turned around and walked towards the diner. Sunny finally
could see the girl’s face.
“Oh, it’s her…” Sunny breathed, rejoiced when she realized it was just Hyomin, the weird girl.
“Who?” The others were still clueless.
Hyomin pushed open the door and went in. She was starving after the whole afternoon of shooting.
She froze when she noticed the figure she known too well. She didn’t know what she should do, go
forth or step back.
But Sunny waved to her, leaving her no choice. She stepped forward to the table of five.
“H-Hi…” Hyomin waved with an awkward smile on her face.
“Hi! Hyomin-ssi…” Sunny was trying to be polite, she still felt uncomfortable with her newly hired
detective, “Care to join us?”
“Ohh… O-Okay…” Hyomin cursed herself inwardly for stuttering but her mouth just won’t follow her
brain’s instruction.
Yuri stood up and went to Yoona’s side so that Hyomin can sit down beside Sunny. Hyomin hesitated
but she sat down anyway.
“Sunny?” Yuri lifted her left brow.
“Oh yeah…She’s Park Hyomin, the detective I met that day…” Sunny introduced Hyomin to the girls.
“Hi! I’m Hyoyeon!!” The choding held out her hand warmly and shook Hyomin’s.
“I’m Seohyun, nice to meet you unnie.” Seohyun smiled politely.

“Swallow your food first before you talk!” Yuri smacked Yoona’s arm.
Hyomin chuckled amused by them, which was found interesting by the petite girl sat beside her.
“Cute, maybe she’s not that weird after all…”
Just then Hyomin’s stomach couldn’t hold it anymore and decided to growl. The girls froze at first but
burst out laughing while Hyomin blushed hard.
“Here, you can order what you want, it’s our treat.” Hyoyeon passed the menu to Hyomin.
“B-But… Are you su-sure? I… I eat a l-lot…” Hyomin tried to decline their offer politely.
“I’m positive,” Hyoyeon said confidently, “And it’s impossible you eat as much as this shiksin here
right?” She pointed to Yoona.
Hyomin doubted that though.
“O-okay…”Hyomin read through the menu, “A burger set… …”
“Okay.” Hyoyeon wrote down thinking it’s over.
“A-and umm… spaghetti carbonara…”
“That’s all right?” Hyoyeon jotted that down too.
“A-and umm… a snack plate… and… Caesar salad… and umm… chocolate milkshake p-please…”
The other girls were staring at the newfound shiksin in awe.

Jessica was having her dessert. Taecyeon had already finished his when he saw what he had been
waiting for. He snickered and turned his gaze to his girlfriend.
“Hey Sica, you have…”
“Hmm?”
Taecyeon leaned in and brushed off the crumbs left on Jessica’s lips. He then took the chance to peck
her on her cheek.
Before Jessica could even respond, she felt thousands of flashlights flashing from the side.
She was in total shock.
There were a number of paparazzi standing outside of the café with cameras flashing nonstop.
“This is not good.”
“Oh gosh Sica you go through the side door, I’ll leave from the back door.” Taecyeon said hastily and
left without Jessica.
Jessica stood up immediately and grabbed her purse. She put her shades on and covered her face with
her bag. The paparazzi started to squeeze in the little café to get a better view.
Jessica was on the edge of crying. She had never been in this situation before. She feared that this
would happen; she feared that she would be the one who disgraced the name of Girls’ Generation.
And now her nightmare was happening.
She ran towards the side door but once she opened the door, she was attacked by countless flashlight.
Panicked, she shut the door back and started to think an alternative.
“Back door!”
She ran towards the back door. There were two voices that stopped her from her steps.
“Thanks Heechul, I owe you big.”
“Taecyeon??” Jessica wondered; she stepped into a corner behind the wall.
“No problem Taec, this would be a great story for tomorrow’s headline.” The other voice spoke with
light laughter.
“What are they talking about?” Jessica frowned.
“I know right?” Taecyeon smirked, “The members should be thanking me.”
“Sure thing, 2PM will be famous in no time.”

The other voice laughed scornfully, “Whatever, remember to call me if you need my service.”

With that, Jessica heard two sets of footsteps leaving the café.
The blonde froze there. She couldn’t believe what she just heard. Anger gradually grew inside her.
“That jerk.”
She stomped out of the café and decided to follow that man she despised so much now.

Chapter 7
Taeyeon woke up finding Tiffany was still in her arms. She smiled with satisfaction.
“Tae…?” Tiffany opened her eyes groggily while yawning.
Taeyeon found her too cute to resist anymore. She hovered on top of the brunette with her hands on
both side of Tiffany’s head.
“Tae?” Tiffany whispered with her glittering eyes looking intensely into Taeyeon’s.
The sound of Tiffany’s husky voice calling her name just set Taeyeon off. She felt her body heated as she
leaned in closer and closer until their lips brushed lightly.
Taeyeon breathed in deeply. The scent of the other girl was so pleasant that Taeyeon felt lightheaded.
She pressed her lips onto Tiffany’s. To her surprise, Tiffany took the initiative to start nibbling on her
lower lips.
Taeyeon was enjoying it. She never kissed anyone and the kiss she’s sharing with the brunette now felt
so perfect.
So perfect…
That her cheeks stung.
Like someone was pinching her cheeks.
“Tae!”
Taeyeon shot her eyes open in surprise and saw a blurred figure on top of her.
“Taetae wake up!” It sounded like Tiffany.
The danshin’s eyes slowly got back to their focus and saw it was indeed Tiffany.
Remembering the dream, Taeyeon shook her head to clear her mind.
She smiled awkwardly to the brunette and sat up.
“What time is it?” Taeyeon scratched her head while yawning.
“Almost dinner time,” Tiffany showed her eye-smile, “That’s why I woke you up, I’m hungryyyyy…”

shudder slightly.

“You really like photograph huh?” Sunny asked, walking beside Hyomin who immersed in her camera.
“Mmhmm.” Hyomin answered briefly while focusing on her subjects. It helped her to ease the
nervousness around Sunny.

They were walking to their last ride before leaving. It was already evening and the amusement park
would be closed in awhile.
Sunny walking behind Hyomin, looking at her curiously.
“She’s really something special.” Sunny can’t help but got attracted by the tall girl in front of her.
Something about the girl made Sunny wants to know her more.
“Hey you two hurry up!” Hyoyeon in the far front yelled at them, “We have limited time!”
“Yeah yeah!” Sunny shouted back.
“Come on.” The petite girl held Hyomin’s hand instinctively and walked faster towards the Ferris wheel.
Hyomin immediately felt electric shock from the touch of her dream girl. She gulped trying hard to ease
her wild heartbeat.
“Maximum four.” The attendant said coldly.
“We have six person, please?” Yoona blinked her eyes, “We don’t mind if it’s crowded a bit.”
“It’s for your safety, miss.”
Yoona pouted.
“Never mind, I think we’ll go in first,” Yuri said pointing at the two figure still walking towards there,
“They are taking their sweet time anyways.”

So the four went in without Hyomin and Sunny.
“What, they didn’t wait for us?” Sunny knitted her brows and quickened her pace.
But the door of the carriage had already closed.
“Wait, I want to ride in that carriage, they’re my friends.” Sunny said to the attendant.
“Sorry miss, you have to ride on the other one. Maximum four per carriage.”
Sunny looked back and forth to the attendant and the Ferris wheel and sighed.
“Never mind, I’m not that interested anyways.”
She walked away to the waiting Hyomin.
“Guess we won’t ride on that.” Sunny informed her; she looked at her camera, “How about you taking
more photos?”
“Okay.” Hyomin was actually relieved that she didn’t have to take the ride with Sunny alone. She
smiled before turning around to continue her research.

Sunny looked at the working girl and was amazed by the concentration Hyomin had when she hold her
camera.
“So why did you became a detective instead of photographer?” Sunny suddenly asked after awhile, “I
mean you seem to be very fond of taking pictures.”

“Now how should I answer that? This is just great, Soyeon.”
“U-ummm…” Hyomin avoided Sunny’s gaze. “F-family issue? A-and umm… detectives… are c-cool…”
“Oh…” Sunny wondered what family issue was that, “But I think photographer is cool too.”
“R-really?”
“Yeah… Scenery, people, animals… Whatever they took last forever. What we have in the real world
will fade, but they made ‘forever’ possible. I love the fact that it is timeless in pictures.”
Sunny glanced at Hyomin before continue, “They make us realize the world is beautiful.”

Hyomin was astonished by Sunny’s words. That was what she exactly had in mind, what exactly made
her pursued this career. And never had anyone understand her so well, not even her best friend
Soyeon.
“How can you be so perfect?”
Jessica stood in front of the dorm’s door.
She took a deep breath and wiped her tears off before she unlocked the door and entered the dorm.
She was rather relieved when she saw the empty living room. That saved her a lot of explanations.
She went into her room swiftly and locked the door.
Without a second thought, she jumped into her bed, burying her face into the bed and started crying
her heart out.
The make-ups on her face were already ruined by streaks of black tears. Her eyes were red and puffy.
“Damn you!” The ice princess screamed over and over again and her tears showed no sign of stopping.
“Sica?”
Jessica froze at the voice. She stayed motionless and tried hard to suppress her tears.
“Sica…”
Jessica felt her back touched by a hand. A touch that so gentle and caring, and familiar.
The blonde couldn’t hold back anymore. She sat up and swung immediately into her best friend’s
embrace.
The smell of floral scent from Sooyoung who just came out from bath was pleasing. The crying girl
snuggled closer to her.
Sooyoung hugged her tightly. She got a really bad feeling about this and a hunch that it has something
to do with the muscular man, Taecyeon.
But she said nothing.
Sooyoung gently caressed Jessica’s back while hugging her securely. Jessica was still crying with floods
of tears gushed down her cheeks and stained Sooyoung’s shoulder.
Slowly Jessica’s crying turned into sobbing and weeping.

“So what are you planning to do huh?” He grasped her hands and pinned them onto the wall.
It was until then that Jessica realized she made a unwise choice to follow the strong guy. She
whimpered in fear as Taecyeon lowered his head.
“I’m the boss here.” Taecyeon snarled beside her ears. He then held Jessica’s chin.
“You will do what I want you to do.” He smirked, “Are we clear?”
A drop of tear ran down her left cheek. She nodded weakly being terrified by the muscular man.
“You will not tell anyone about this.” She nodded.
“You will go out with me if I tell you to.” She nodded sobbing.
“Now you’re a good girl.”
The sickening guy patted Jessica’s head before turning away.
“I will call you.”
Jessica was left there alone, hugging herself feeling hopeless.
End of flashback
Sooyoung can’t be more furious hearing what Jessica had said.
Her hands balled into fists with her eyes shut closed. Her nostrils flaring while consuming the anger
rose inside her. She breathed heavily frowning.
“Soo…”
“I WILL KILL HIM!”
Sooyoung cried out slamming her hand on the table. She instantly groaned feeling the pain in her
hand.
“Sooyoung!”
Jessica went forward and grabbed her hand. She looked at it worriedly.
Sooyoung took a few deep breath to calm herself down. Her heart was breaking into pieces knowingwhat her princess had gone through. The pain in her hand was nothing compared to that.
“I’m sorry…”
A drop of regretful tear stained her tensed cheek.
Jessica looked up, “No… I am sorry…”

Jessica stared at Sooyoung’s injured hand.
There was a silence before Sooyoung spoke again.
“I love you.” was what Sooyoung wanted to say. But she felt that wasn’t the best timing for what
Jessica was going through.
“Don’t go out with him.” She said instead.
Jessica looked up and Sooyoung saw fear in her eyes. She smiled painfully and embraced the older girl.
“I will protect you. Don’t go out with him.”
She felt Jessica nodded in her arms.
“I will protect you.”
Jessica sneaked her hands onto Sooyoung’s waist and hugged her closely.

The girls sat in a row on the provisional stage. They were having their first fan meeting for the new
album “The Boys”.
After the brief opening and interview, the autograph session started.
The nine angels gave out their best smile while signing for their beloved sones.
“Hi, what’s your name? Okay… here you go… Thanks!”
“Hello! Kim…Jae…Gun…? Okay, Thanks!”
Sunny smiled widely and lowered her head to write down the names and thank them over and over
again.
“A-Annyeong…”
“This stammering voice sounds familiar…”
Sunny looked up and saw her new friend.
“Oh hi, Hyomin-ssi!” She beamed.
Hyomin blushed at how radiant and joyful Sunny was; she handed out the album she bought.
“There, Hyomin-ssi!” She gave back the album and held out her hand for a handshake.
Hyomin took her hand and shook them gently.
Before Hyomin could leave, Sooyoung at the side waved at her, to her surprise.
“Hey, so you are the infamous Hyomin-ssi huh?”
Hyomin was surprised that Sooyoung knew her.
“Did Sunny talked about me in their dorm?” She can’t help but smiled at that thought.
“Nice to meet you,” Sooyoung shook Hyomin’s hands too, “I hope we can hang out sometimes, to eat.”
The taller shiksin grinned broadly after seeing the nod from Hyomin.
“Oh, we have a performance on Music Bank tomorrow.” Sunny said, “I hope you can come.”
Hyomin nodded and turned away briskly to hide her heated face. “Of course I will go, I’ll never miss it.”
“Weird girl.” Sunny shrugged her shoulder and continue to sign for the fans.
At that moment a fuss began caused by a certain tall man.

Jessica flinched at the sight of the man but she forced a smile. She had to smile.
“Hi babe…” Taecyeon smiled, he felt the adrenaline rushed through his body in ecstasy as the fans
screamed at his appearance.
He held out the bouquet of flowers he brought for Jessica. The latter took it reluctantly.
Not far away, Sooyoung had her fists clenched underneath the table. Her jaw tightened and she
squinted her eyes in rage and hatred.
But she can do nothing. Her heart was being stabbed numerous times by the sight of the evil triumph
smile of Taecyeon and the fact that she could do nothing about it.
She closed her eyes not wanting to watch anymore.
“Hi, Taecyeon-ssi!” Taeyeon smiled politely.
The others except for Sooyoung also smiled at him.
None of them knew about what happened.
Sooyoung promised to keep it a secret as it was Jessica’s demand.
They saw the news and thought that Jessica was happy with him.
They thought Jessica was happy with Taecyeon.
Taecyeon smiled back and turned his attention back to his girlfriend.
“I will call you soon okay?” He said harshly in low voice.
Jessica just nodded her head.
With that, Taecyeon left waving to the fans.
Jessica gulped in relieve, she turned her head to Sooyoung impulsively.
Sooyoung looked at her with a weak smile. Jessica nodded slightly knowing the younger girl was
comforting her.
After the autograph session…
The girls performed “The boys” as the closing of the fan meeting.
And Sunny saw what she missed for the past few days.

She jumped in delight but tried to focus on the performance instead.
It felt like ages until the song was over and Sunny immediately ran down the stage but she was
stopped by their manager.
“What do you think you are doing?”
“I need to find that guy! Please let me go! Pweaaasseeee…” Sunny pleaded with her aegyo.
“No way, there’re still bunch of fans out there!”
“But this is really important!!!! I need to find him!!”
“Aishh…” The manager sighed, “How about this, I will go look for that whatever guy you’re lookingfor.”
“Really??” Sunny asked with her eyes blinking.
“Yeah, just tell me how to recognize him now.” The manager couldn’t take Sunny’s aegyo anymore.
“He’s carrying a light-board saying I’m the light that made his darkness disappeared.”
The manager had goosebumps when he heard that, but he nodded and went to search for the guy

“Is this the light-board?” The manager handed out the light-board to Sunny.
“Yeah…” Sunny took a glance on it and turned her gaze back to the man.
The man is taller than she imagined. He had a chestnut brown medium shag hairstyle fitting his
outstanding features. Wearing a plain shirt with tie and a cotton-knit sweater outside perfectly
showed off the man’s great frame. And a pair of black-framed glasses just made him looked more
charismatic.
He would be any girls’ ideal type.
And the girls in the standby room were obviously captivated by the man’s charm.
Sunny stepped out immediately and held out her hand.
“Hi…” She was a little dissatisfied with her choice of words.
“Umm… hello.” The man shook Sunny’s hand, with a tint of red spread on his cheeks, making himmore adorable.
“Hi! I’m Yuri!” “And I’m Yoona!!” The twins suddenly appeared beside them and shook the man’s
hand eagerly.
The man was shocked rather than flattered. He had his eyes widened at a loss.
“Yah you two!” Sunny smacked the twins’ head making them retreat while pouting.

Sunny was completely puzzled, as well as the girls. Sunny picked up the light-board.

“But…but then why were you carrying this?”
“Oh that…” Yonghwa remembered when a girl stuffed the light-board to him, “I was going to leave
after the fan meeting, but a random girl just gave it to me… And then I’d been dragged here…”
“A girl gave it to you?”
“Yeah I guess so…”
Sunny immersed in her own thoughts.
“How could it be? A girl…? Maybe she just picked it up somewhere and gave it to Yonghwa-ssi…

Taeyeon figured Sunny must be troubled in thoughts, she walked towards Yonghwa.
“You can go now, I’m really sorry for causing all these trouble for you.”
“Ohh… it’s okay…Umm…” Yonghwa smiled sheepishly, “Can I… perhaps…?” He took a poster out from
his bag.
“Oh of course…”
Taeyeon signed his poster, as well as the other girls. With that, Yonghwa went out happily.
Taeyeon immediately eyed Sunny after Yonghwa went out.
“Is it possible… that it was a girl all along?”
But then Taeyeon remembered what Sunny told them.

“Soyeon! Are you sure we can go in?”
“Yeah, why not? We’re SSD!”
“SSD? What is that?”
“Sunny’s Special Detective.” Soyeon showed a proud grin.
Hyomin shook her head and rolled her eyes in disbelief.“Why did I even listened to this pabo?”
Soyeon walked confidently through couples of security guards. And amazingly, with the fake pass
Soyeon made, they got through and went into the backstage successfully.
“See?” Soyeon puckered her left brow and smirked.
Hyomin kept her poker face and continued to walk.
“So now we just have to search for the room for SNS….D! Here we are!”
Soyeon didn’t even think much and straightly opened the door.
Hyomin at the back face palmed herself.
“Excuse me girls, you’re not supposed to be here.” The manager blocked their way in.
“I told you…”
“Relax Hyomin, I’ll handle this.” Soyeon then turned to the manager and smiled cunningly.
“SUNNY-SSI!!!!!”
The high-pitched scream almost ruptured the eardrums of probably everyone around there.
Sunny cringed at the sound and turned around to see her two detectives.
“Oh, Hyomin-ssi and umm…” Sunny scratched her head.
“It’s Soyeon.” Soyeon giggled as Sunny only remembered her princess charming’s name.
“Oh yeah, Soyeon-ssi.” Sunny repeated embarrassingly, “What brought you two here?”
“I was thinking if we can begin our investigation today.” It was Soyeon who did all the talking again.
She eyed the manager, “Can we perhaps go in and have a talk?”
“Sure, come in.”

“Soo!! Stop it!” She was still laughing holding her stomach.
“Yah! Don’t ruined your makeup Sooyoung-ssi!” The stylist cried out frustratedly. It appears that
Sooyoung had done enough to agitate her.
“Okay okay, chill!” Sooyoung stuck her tongue out to the stylist.
She turned to Jessica with a satisfied smile on her face. “Glad I made you happy.”
“Who said that I’m unhappy?” Jessica stuck her tongue out mimicking Sooyoung’s action.
“Well you…”
Sooyoung was interrupted by the ringing of Jessica’s phone.
“Sorry…” Jessica took out her phone and a hint of fear flashed through her eyes. She got up from her
sit and walked away trying to hide it from Sooyoung.
“Hello…” She spoke faintly after she closed the door behind her.
“Hey babe.” The most disgusting sound came from the other side.
Jessica squirmed in discomfort. “Yeah?”
“Meet me tonight at the café, 9pm. Don’t be late.”
Jessica bitted her lower lips, as much as she wanted to decline it, she could say nothing.
“You hear me?” Taecyeon said impatiently, “You know the consequences if…”
“I will go!” Jessica replied not wanting to hear threats from the monster anymore.
“Good.” Taecyeon smirked, “Can’t wait to see you tonight.”
Jessica shivered from that; she quickly hung up.
When she went back into the room, she found Sooyoung standing there.
“Who was that?”
“Oh…just a friend.”

Jessica could see the doubts in Sooyoung’s eyes. She lowered her head in guilt and went to sit beside
Yuri to avoid the taller girl.

“Why am I even here?” The short-haired girl whined to her two friends.
“To help this dumb.”
“Yah!” Soyeon earned a smack form the pouting girl.
“Okay, to help this pabo.”
“It’s the same!!” Hyomin pouted more.
Eunjung can’t help but laughed at her two silly friends. “Okay okay whatever, So what should I do
anyways?”
“Put this on and hold this,” Soyeon handed Eunjung a hooded jacket and a light-board. “And run when
we tell you.”
“Run?”
“Yeah, pretend that you’re chased by us.” Soyeon grinned proudly at her idea, “And DON’T show your
face!”
Eunjung sighed, “Aye aye captain!”
“Okay, let’s go!”
Hyomin followed behind the two enthusiastic girls, unsure of the plan.
The girls went out as the intro of their new song started.
Though she trusted her detectives, Sunny still took some glances towards the auditorium.
“There! Sunny, I… …”
Before Sunny can finished reading, the light-board went out of her sight abruptly. And then she saw
there was some fuss occurred around there.
She felt relax; assured that her detectives were doing their job well.
“So, where is him??” Sunny asked as soon as the two girls entered the standby room.
Hyomin shook her head; she was still sweating from all the running.
“Uhh… we kind of… lost him…” Soyeon said sadly (?).

Hyomin handed her the light-board.
Sunny’s eyes lighted when she saw that, she looked at it hastily.
Sunny, I wasn’t here in the beginning, but I’m sure I will be here till the end.

The petite girl smiled involuntarily, kept on staring the light-board and read it again and again.
But she didn’t know she had almost killed a person with that smile.
Hyomin never knew her light-boards would have such effect on her dream girl. She was just
expressing her feelings through a more comfortable way, since she was really bad in words.
Hyomin made a vow inwardly seeing how happy Sunny was.
“I want to make you smile like that every day, Sunny.”
Jessica wore a denim jeans with white sweatshirt on top, and coated with a hooded jacket. She
wanted to look as plain as possible, to blend in the public.
She wouldn’t want any incident like last time to happen again.
Putting her mask on, Jessica went out from their dorm quietly.
She didn’t realize a tall figure was watching her as she went out.
After a fifteen minutes walk in the bleak wind, she was standing in front of the café again.
But everything weren’t the same anymore.
Her hands trembled from fear rather than the cold wind. But she knew she needed to step in the
building.
“I need to safeguard our group’s name.”
Walking into the café, the blonde instantly spotted the muscular guy sitting in a corner.
She sat down without uttering a word.

Jessica looked at the menu, reluctant to begin any talk with him.
“Congratulations on today’s winning.” The girls did won their first first-place for ‘The Boys’.
Still no respond from the girl.
“So… 2PM is getting more attention nowadays,” Taecyeon began to feel irritated by the ice princess
coldness, but he tried to continue.
“I’m demanding you to talk to me, Sica.” Taecyeon’s face tensed.
“Are you expecting me to talk naturally with you?” Jessica said in the coldest tone.
Taecyeon laughed mockingly, “So you like to remain silent?”
Jessica had her head tilted to the other side not even willing to look at that jerk.
Taecyeon leaned over the table, grabbing Jessica by her chin.
“Then I’ll shut you up.”
He tightened his grip on Jessica’s chin and pulled her towards himself.
Jessica struggled to free herself from the monster but he was too strong for her.
Taecyeon leaned in and took a deep breath, breathing in her pleasant scent.
Their faces were just an inch away.
“Sorry sir, we are closing.”
A voice of an angel interrupted Taecyeon in his evil deed. He sighed in frustration and turned to look
at the waitress.
He loosened his grip on Jessica.
“Consider yourself lucky.” He whispered in her ears before standing up, “I’ll see you soon.”
Jessica collapsed onto the chair in relieve. She felt like she just came back from hell.
“Thank you so much, Miss…” Jessica said to the waitress.
“It’s Sunhwa.” The fair girl showed her dorky smile.
“Thanks, Miss Sunhwa.”
“I don’t know what was going on but I think you should stop seeing that jerk, Jessica-ssi.”

Chapter 10
The ice princess tiptoed her way into her room. Slowly closing the door, she turned around and walk to
her bed. Setting down her handbag on the chair, she lied down without changing her clothes. She was
too tired for that.
“Where did you go?”
The sudden sound nearly gave a heart attack to the blonde; she sprang up and sat on the bed.
“S…Soo?”
The figure lying in darkness didn’t move. Jessica thought she was just confused.
But when she lied down, the voice spoke again.
“You went to see that jerk right?”
Jessica turned herself around to face Sooyoung; now she could see the younger girl with her eyes wide
opened, staring at her.
Jessica didn’t reply, but the answer was obvious.
Sooyoung felt her heart sank deep down, she didn’t know if she was disappointed, or heart-broken.
“Did he hurt you?”
Jessica shook her head. She didn’t want to burden Sooyoung with what happened there.
There was a moment of silent. Jessica thought Sooyoung was asleep. She turned around back facing thetaller girl and prepared to sleep.
Sooyoung spoke so faintly, but Jessica heard what she said.
“You don’t trust me at all huh…”
Next morn ing…
Stirring in her bed, the petite girl let out a few yawn while stretching before finally sat up. She rubbed
her eyes with the back of her hands. Noticing the empty bed beside her, she remembered that her
roommate had a photo shoot today.
Looking around still not fully awake, she smiled at the sight of the thing standing on her desk. She
crawled out of her bed and walked towards her desk. She picked up the light-board, reading and
stroking the LED-ed letters.

Finally finished with admiring the light-board, she fondly put down the light-board. She walked around
the small room lazily, thinking what she should do for the rest of the day. Failed to come out with a
conclusion, Sunny decided to walk out from her room.
The living room was deserted as she was expected. Hyoyeon, Seohyun and Yuri had went to a radio
show; Tiffany and Taeyeon were gone for a magazine photo shoot; And Yoona got drama filming that
day.
Which means there’s only Sooyoung and Jessica left in the dorm beside Sunny.
Sunny was aware of that and so made her way to Soosica’s room to take a peek. And the sleeping
beauty was in her bed, sleeping soundly as always. But the tall shiksin’s bed was emptied.
Sunny raised her left brow wondering the whereabouts of Sooyoung.
She toddled to the dining room, ready to get her breakfast.
“Of course.”
She blurted out when she saw the tall figure sitting by the kitchen counter, digging in a huge bowl of
cereals.
“Gum morrninggg!” The shiksin raised up her spoon to acknowledge the present of the danshin.
“Morning.” Sunny sat down and poured herself some cereals as well.
The two ate in silence, with only the loud crunching sound filled the dining room.
Sunny stole some glances towards Sooyoung. It was unusual for the cheerful princess to be this quiet.
“Soo…” Sunny spoke eventually.
“Hmm?”
“Is there anything that’s bothering you?”
Sooyoung looked up, “No… why?”
Sunny shook her head in reply. “I’m here if you want to talk, you know?”
Sooyoung played with her food. She desperately wanted to pour out her problem to someone, but she
had always worried that it would burdens the others.

Sunny was a little taken aback by Sooyoung’s sudden confession. ”Sooyoungie is in love?”
“Just tell him your feelings.”
“I wish it could be that easy…” The younger girl let out a sigh, ignoring the misunderstanding of Sunny.
“Why? Who is that lucky guy?” Sunny couldn’t help but curious about the person who made Sooyoung
troubled like this.
“Hmm…” Sooyoung replied nonchalantly, picked up her empty bowl and went for the sink.
Sunny didn’t press on the matter as she thought she should give the troubling girl some time to clear up
her mind.
After the breakfast, the danshin went back to her room and lied on her bed.
“What should I do today?”
Rolling around her bed out of boredom, she saw the light-board and a certain silhouette popped out in
her mind.
“Maybe I should thank her and umm…the other girl.”
She held out her phone and scrolled down her contact list before she found the name, ‘Weird Girl’.
Studio…
Taeyeon was just done with her makeup and dresses. She went out to where the shooting would take
place, preparing herself for the magazine photo shooting.
She heard the clicks of high heels from behind and when she turned around, she was instantly dazzled
by the angel stood in front of her.
Tiffany was wearing a see-through black dress with white halter mini dress within it. Her hair was let
loosened and spread on her shoulders gorgeously. And the eye-smile appeared on the angel’s face, only
made the already-dazzled girl’s heart skipped a beat. Taeyeon stared at the girl, couldn’t took her eyes
off Tiffany.
Tiffany giggled at Taeyeon’s awe expression.
“So I’ll take that as a compliment.”
Taeyeon took a deep breath and nodded dorkily. “Yeah, you are…” An angel.”…beautiful.”

“Thanks!” The brunette beamed with her eye-smile surfacing again, “You’re not bad yourself!”
“Hmm.” Taeyeon just nodded and turned around feeling her cheeks burning.
“Those strange feelings are coming back again…” She placed her hand on the left of her chest, feeling the
abnormal beats of her heart.
The photo shoot started as soon as the PD called for them to position themselves on the scene.
Taeyeon shrugged the feelings off her chest and started her work professionally.
They started off with some individual shoots, posing confidently and elegantly to suit the concept of the
magazine.
“Okay girls, now stand together will you?” The photographer squinted his eyes to look at the two girls,
“Okay, Tiffany-ssi show your side to the camera. Yes yes that’s perfect! And Taeyeon-ssi can you hold on
Tiffany’s waist? “
Taeyeon felt her heart missed a couple of beats again. She actually felt nervous and her hand quivered a
bit while making its way to Tiffany’s waist.
It was odd because they had definitely posed like this before, but somehow the shorter girl felt different.
She had her heart thumping like crazy and even her hand sweated a little.
“Why am I feeling like this?” She was immersed in her own thoughts.
“Tae!” She snapped out to look at the awestruck Tiffany.
“W-what?”
“Your hand, Tae...”
Taeyeon swore that she saw the younger girl’s face colored. She glanced at her hand and immediately
drew it back, as surprised as Tiffany.
She had unconsciously slipped her hand onto Tiffany’s hips.
“Oh, I-I’m sorry...”
Tiffany giggled at Taeyeon’s nervousness. She naughtily decided to tease her some more.

Tiffany laughed as hard as she could; she clapped her hands and helplessly bent down as she laughed.
Taeyeon was still unaware of the situation and just stood there dumbfounded.

The puzzled girl blushed at the comment.
“Okay okay calm down girls, let’s continue the photo shoot.” The photographer who was cracked up as

Looking at the angel in front of her, Taeyeon started to felt butterflies in her stomach.
“Ugh...what is this? I hate this strange feeling!”
As the shooting progressing, Taeyeon found herself constantly staring at Tiffany involuntarily.

Sunny waved her hands at the puzzled-looking girl standing beside the café entrance. The latter saw

Seeing the frown on Sunny’s face, Hyomin got a little panicked. “Is-is there any p-problem, S-Sunny-

do you stutter every time you speak?”
Hyomin blushed madly hearing the question. “It’s all because of you, Sunny…”

“Gosh I’m going crazy if you keep smiling like this!!!!”

Watching Sunny telling her own story was fascinating for Hyomin. The latter listened quietly although
she knew every single thing Sunny was telling. Smiles never left Hyomin’s face as Sunny was talking;
she was totally mesmerized by Sunny’s charm.
“… …I like to play games. I read comics frequently… And umm…” Sunny was determined to break
down the barrier between them.
“You like sneakers, you like to eat fruits, you really like to swim, you hate red bean paste, you don’t
like to drink milk, you’re scared of loud noises and fireworks… Your real name is Lee Soon-kyu, you are
the shortest member in SNSD…” Hyomin didn’t realize she just spoke out her mind.

The girl let out a yawn and sat up on her bed. She looked around the room and found her roommate
was gone. Looking at the empty bed beside her, she remembered what happened last night.
“I’m sorry Soo… I just… I need to protect our reputation; I need to protect you and the girls…” She
mumbled softly to herself.
She let out a sigh before went up from the bed and walked to the bathroom.
Jessica went out of her room to grab something to eat; she was starving. On her way to the kitchen,
she peeked at the living room and found the tall shiksin watching the television with a bucket of ice
cream on her lap.
“Morning Soo…” She greeted but didn’t get any respond from Sooyoung.
Jessica frowned but made her way to the kitchen anyways. She grabbed a sandwich in the fridge and
heated it. After the sandwich was ready to eat, she put it in a plate and went to the living room. The
blonde was planning to sat down beside Sooyoung and joined her in the television-watching.
But when she sat down on the couch, Sooyoung stood up and started to walk to their room.
Jessica was confused with Sooyoung’s behavior. “Soo?”
Sooyoung stopped but didn’t turn around. She didn’t want Jessica to see the tears on her face.
“Are you mad at me?”
“No.”
“Yes you are.”
Jessica stood up and walked towards Sooyoung. The latter startled and quickly went into their room
and slammed the door closed.

Hyomin just stood there with a smile on her face. She felt delighted that Sunny was worrying about

That reminded Hyomin about the bag. She lifted it and gave it to Sunny.
“F-for you…” Now Hyomin was stammering, both from her nervousness and the coldness.
Sunny was stunned, she took the bag and opened it.
“You… you got yourself completely wet just… just to give me this?” Sunny stuttered a little feeling
herself on the edge of crying.
“Yeah… I-I see you were s-shivering from c-cold, I thought… y-you would need t-this…”
Sunny put on the pair of pink mittens and gave Hyomin her best smile. “Thanks.”
Hyomin felt her heart melted as her cheeks heated.
“N-no p-problem.” Hyomin shivered a bit from the coldness.
Sunny rubbed the younger girl’s arms trying to give her some warmness. Hyomin’s heart skipped a
beat upon the contact.
“We need to get you warm quickly, is your house near here?”
“H-huh? M-my apartment… is… is just a few b-blocks away…”
“That’s great, let’s go now!” Sunny called a cab and both of them went to Hyomin’s apartment.
“We’re back!” The two put their shoes on the shoe rack and went into the living room.
“No one’s in?” The kid leader wondered, “Where are those three that were free from schedule today?”
Tiffany just crashed directly into the couch, “Taetae! I’m tired and I’m hungryyyyyyy!”
Taeyeon’s cheek colored a bit, she went into the kitchen swiftly, “Okay, what do you want to eat for
dinner?”
“Yay! Taetae is going to cook for me!!” The brunette, lying on the couch, lifted her hands and legs
towards the ceiling like a child. “Anything you cook for me is good!”

Sunny sat down on the couch and started observing the apartment. It was tidy and clean; themed
with white color and some hint of light beige.
“Wow… she must be rich to own this place…” Sunny was amazed by the spacious and comfortable
living room. Then she noticed some pictures framed onto the wall. (A/N: Imagine them on the wall
behind of the sofa?)
The pictures were mostly scenery. They were beautiful to Sunny; she was mesmerized by them and
then she noticed the little signatures on the bottom right of every pictures.
It was a little initial of ‘H’.
Just then Hyomin came out with her dry clothes and two cups of hot tea on her hands.
“Hyomin-ssi, are these your works?”
“Y-yeah…”
Sunny nodded her head. “Hmm, they have the same initial! What a coincidence!”
“You sure are talented; these pictures are masterpieces!”
“T-thanks…” Hyomin blushed at the compliment. She put the tea onto the table. “P-please sit.”

Sunny sat down on the sofa joined by Hyomin.
“I see you’re very close with So…Soyeon-ssi.” Sunny saw a few photos of Hyomin and Soyeon in the
living room.
“Y-yes… this is actually h-her place…”
“Oh…”
Hyomin took a sip of tea, frowning as she felt a little dizzy.
Sunny was still looking around in awe. She then turned to Hyomin.
“So… it’s time for me to know more about you!”
“W-what?”
“Yeah! I told you about me, you should tell me about yourself!”
“Ummm… ” Hyomin hesitated, “W-what should I s-say?”
“Just give me random things about you, like what I did just now!”
