Objectives of Summer Internship Program
1. To familiarize with construction industry planning, design,
and field operations.
2. To introduce with the interrelations among the various
tasks and participants in the construction process.

• Assist in finalizing the consultant’s contract and scope on behalf of the Client
• Develop a master schedule for the entire project

DESIGN PHASES
• Oversee the design phase of the project to ensure that the Clients requirements are met for

• Provide for the Client the pre-qualification of the Contractors
• Review bidding documents prior to issue
• Develop a tight and clearly understandable Construction Contract to minimize Change Orders
BID ANALYSIS STAGE
• Incorporate comments from all bidders regarding areas of concern, omission or ambiguity in
the
contract documents identified during bidding
• Evaluate the contractor’s detailed progress schedule
• Define the project administration procedures for the Contractor
• Define Change Order substantiation procedures as stipulated in the Contract
• Finalize the project budget and schedule
• Evaluate the project's cash flow projections for the Clients.

CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES -ADMINISTRATION OF CONTRACT
• Oversee developments of the Contractor's detailed project schedule
• Monitor schedule progress and budget through the project
• Certify and recommend for payment Contractors’ bills
• Assist in quality control of the design and construction
