THE SETTING

THE ARTISTIC EXPERIENCEThis unique festival tour, promises to be an artistically rich, poignant and inspirational journey through areas of France steeped in historical significance. Collaborating with the Paris Choral Society and our Composer-in-Residence will allow for meaningful, educational and cultural immersion and a deepening of Franco-American friendships. Culminating with a Gala Concert in Paris this festival tour will challenge and engage the hearts and minds of every participant and create profound memories to last a lifetime. A significant highlight will be a visit to the American Cemetery and Omaha Beach in Normandy as we commemorate the 75th Anniversary of D-Day and pay tribute to our fallen heroes with a choir recital and wreath laying.

LA BELLE FRANCEA land rich in musical and artistic heritage, breathtaking in its beauty and welcoming in its nature. Starting in the City of Lights, you’ll have time to ease into rehearsals and explore historic sites such as the Louvre Museum and Versailles in this iconic of European Cities. A full day excursion to Normandy will include an opportunity to explore the American D-Day sites including the Landing Beaches and the American Cemetery.

THE ORGANIZERS :: Perform International

“Building Bridges and Transforming Lives through the Power of Music”Boldly informed by the belief that music inherently speaks as an expression of the human spirit beyond borders and in all cultures, Perform International seeks to empower music directors and ensembles to realize meaningful and life-changing immersion experiences and performances around the world.• We empower music directors, music ensembles and individual musicians to share and grow in their artistic

expression and understanding of people and cultures. • We design and create rewarding performances as well as educational and cultural immersion opportunities

by building and maintaining relationships with domestic and international musicians and music education organizations.

• We partner with concert venues, publicity teams, airlines, hotels, and tour guides to plan and implement operational methods that enhance rather than distract from the artistic experience.

• We provide meaningful and life-changing performance tour experiences that are personal, thoughtful, and efficient in the processes of conceptual artistic and educational development.

The choir was created in 1994 when a group of avid non-pro-fessional singers in Paris persuaded the gifted choirmaster and former music director of the American Cathedral in Paris, Edward J. Tipton (now in Los Angeles), to lead them on an adven-ture in music and voice. The PCS, conducted since 2011 by Zachary Ullery, is now nearly one hundred strong, its concerts a fixture on the Paris cultural scene, its acclaim and popularity multiplying by the season. The mission of this volunteer chorale is to present the finest in choral music at affordable prices.
