My name is Felicity Fitzpatrick, I’m 22 years old and I’m from Ballyhaise in Co. Cavan. We farm at home and I love that lifestyle. I’m studying veterinary medicine and I really enjoy the course and the people. My current plan is to go into mixed practice after I graduate. With three sisters, I grew up in a house of girls and I really believe it’s from a young age that the idea of gender inequality can be eradicated. We were always encouraged to pursue whatever we wanted in life and the three of us who have finished school have gone into traditionally male careers, without ever questioning it.
