Abyss

1. Redemption Landing and Harbinger’s Landing can now be reinforced.

- The Landing Reinforcement Level can be increased by completing certain quests, capturing fortresses

and bases, and assaulting the enemy landing.

2. Reinforcement Points are gained or lost as follows.

Monuments spawn in the landing after defeating certain bosses in the Upper

Abyss.

The opposing faction destroys the monument.

Facility Control Destroying facilities in the enemy

Landing. The opposing faction destroys

facilities in your Landing.

Quest Completion

Upon completing specific weekly and PvP quests in the Upper Abyss.

No Deduction

- If enough points are lost, Landings can level down.

- The Quest Completion category resets every Monday at 12PM server time (noon). Other sources of

Reinforcement Points are not reset.

- The Landing Reinforcement UI shows relevant information. Access it by clicking the icon near the

radar.

3. The benefits of Landing Reinforcement are as follows. Each level includes all benefits that come

before it.

Level Benefits

Level 1 (Default)

Allows infiltration of Kysis Fortress when it's controlled by an opposing faction (10 times).

Portal access to Cygnea (Elyos) and Enshar (Asmodian).

Level 2 Additional Benefits

Allows infiltration of Krotan Fortress and Miren Fortress when it's controlled by an opposing faction (10 times).

Gives access to quests that reward Landing Reinforcement points.

Gives access to consumable item merchants.

Portal access to Sanctum (Elyos) and Pandaemonium (Asmodian).

Level 3 Additional Benefits

Buff that improves flight time recovery speed, effectively giving unlimited flight time in the Abyss.

Gives access to crafting merchants.

Portal access to Inggison (Elyos) and Gelkmaros (Asmodians).

Level 4 Additional Benefits

Buff that increases Maximum HP.

Gives access to quests that reward Landing Reinforcement points.

Gives access to Relic Exchange NPCs.

Portal access to Levinshor and Kaldor.

Level 5 Additional Benefits

Buff that increases PvP Attack.

Gives access to Blood Medal merchants.

Portal access to Illuminary Obelisk.

Level 6 Additional Benefits

Gives access to quests that reward Landing Reinforcement points.

Gives access to Blood Mark merchants.

Portal access to Hidden Upper Abyss Barracks.

Portal access to Danuar Reliquary.

Level 7 Additional Benefits

Gives access to discounted Conditioning NPCs.

Gives additional entries to Illuminary Obelisk and Danuar Reliquary, including Infernal versions.

Portal access to Infinity Shard.

Level 8 Additional Benefits

Gives access to discounted Augment NPCs.

Gives access to quests that reward Landing Reinforcement points.

Gives additional entries to Infinity Shard and Eternal Bastion.

Portal access to Eternal Bastion.

- Additional instance entries gained via level 7 and level 8 will disappear if those levels are lost.

4. Landing Reinforcement quests have been added.

- The quests can be acquired only by characters who have completed the Elyos quest “Reinforcing

Redemption Landing” or the Asmodian quest “Fixing the Landing.”

5. Because Landing Reinforcement is now active, we have reverted all artifact bases and fortresses in the

Upper Abyss to Balaur control, to provide a level playing field for both factions as they strive to level up

their landings. This is a one-time change during maintenance on 2/17.

6. Added system messages that will display when your race’s Landing levels up, levels down, or is under

attack.

7. The artifact names displayed on the map of the Upper Abyss have been changed for clarity.

8. Fixed some minor display and pathfinding issues with NPCs in the Upper Abyss.

9. Adjusted the draw distance of bases and certain other objects in the Upper Abyss.

10. Reduced the ranks of some monsters near the Bases and Artifacts in the Upper Abyss.

Instances

1. Added Hidden Barracks instances to the Upper Abyss.

- The fortress must be under allied control, and the Landing at level 6 or higher, to enter.

- The instances can be entered via NPCs that spawn in the Landings at Reinforcement Level 6.

- The instances share entries with the normal Barracks instances.

- The Hidden Barracks instances have better rewards than the normal Barracks instances, including

chances at the new Ereshkigal accessories.

2. The difficulty of some boss monster battle patterns has been nerfed.

- The following boss fights in Illuminary Obelisk, Sauro Supply Base, and Danuar Reliquary will now reset

when the timer reaches zero, rather than ending the instance.

3. The stats of some monsters in Illuminary Obelisk, Sauro Supply Base and Danuar Reliquary have been

nerfed.

4. The difficulty of Linkgate Foundry has been lowered.

- The number of keys required to move to the central lab has been reduced from 1/5/7 to 1/3/5.

- Some of Belsagos’ skills have had their damage reduced.

- The Healer’s battle patterns have changed, and its HP has been reduced.

- The HP of the Guardian/Archon NPCs has been increased.

5. The location of the entrance NPCs to the Steel Rake and Steel Rake Cabin have been moved to new

locations in Heiron (Elyos) and Beluslan (Asmodian). Any quests currently in progress can be completed

at the new locations.

6. Fixed an issue in Aturam Sky Fortress where the Tachysphere’s skills would sometimes be inactive.

7. Bonus entries between normal and infernal instances are no longer linked.

8. Rank-based rewards have been disabled at Rank F.

9. Fixed an issue in Infinity Shard where the barrier would not drop even after the shield generators

were destroyed.

Skills

1. Fixed an issue with the tooltip for the Songweaver skill Thronesong.

2. Fixed an issue where characters were not taking falling damage.

3. Changed the effect that displays when a party member receives damage while under the effects of

Glory: Empyrean Aegis.

4. Increased the healing per second of Word of Life at levels 1 and 2.

5. Fixed the level display for Wing Root.

1. Omega Enchantment Stone drops have been removed from the fields and moved to the following

instances, and their drop rate has been increased.

2. The prices of shields that can be purchased with Ceramium Coins have been reduced.

3. Increased the drop rates of Heroic accessory items dropped by Brigade General Sheba and Guard

Captain Ahuradim in Sauro Supply Base.

4. Increased the Ancient Coin drop rate from boxes in Danuar Sanctuary and Sealed Argent Manor.

5. Ancient Coins have been added to the drop list of boxes in Sealed Danuar Mysticarium.

6. Fixed an issue with some drop rates of the Combat Fortress Supply Box.

7. Gentlewoman’s Dress and Princess’ Dress can now have their appearance applied to other items.

8. Accessories can now be Tempered with no level limit, and the Tempering success rate has been

slightly increased.

9. The PvP stats per level gained from Tempering accessories has been normalized as follows.

13. Added the mythic Infinity weapon set.

- Infinity weapons can be acquired with Blood Medals and Blood Marks. Their prices are the same as the

current Unrelenting set, but their stats are slightly different.

- Like the Unrelenting set, they can also be acquired by purifying Discordant weapons. Prior to purifying,

select the weapon you would like to receive on the right side of the window.

- Enchantment past the max level will still require Omega Enchantment Stones and will have an

associated Kinah cost.

14. Some items that can only be used in battlefield-type instances (Dredgion, Idgel Dome, etc.) can no

longer be destroyed.

15. Fixed an issue where some instance-only items could be stored in the warehouse.

16. The NPC sale prices of bundles from the Steel Rake and Steel Rake Cabin have been reduced.

Prestige Pack

1. Fixed an issue where the Lucky Hand buff could be “pushed off” by overloading a character with skill

effects. It should now be impossible to remove.

Panesterra

1. Fixed an issue where some portals to Panesterra were not spawning correctly.

1. Landing Reinforcement Points have been added to certain weekly quests and war quests. The reward

items of some quests have been changed.

6. Fixed an issue with the quests “A Sage’s Gift” (Elyos) and “Making the Daevanion Weapon” (Asmodian)

where the areas for the quests would not be displayed under certain circumstances.

7. Some quests that were still giving [Static] rewards have had their rewards changed.

8. Fixed an issue where incorrect guide information would be given upon failing some quests.

9. Fixed an issue where quests would update over shorter-than-intended distances for party and alliance

members.

19. Fixed an issue where some Elyos quest items would be dropped by the wrong monster.

22. Fixed some quests that could not progress due to the quest items not dropping or NPCs not

1. Fixed an issue where the Conqueror/Protector buffs were applied incorrectly in Cygnea and Enshar.

2. Fixed an issue where whispers would sometimes display in Elyos language in specific circumstances.

3. Bot reports are now enabled in Sanctum, Pandaemonium and the Abyss.

4. Fixed an issue where whispers could not be received after changing a character’s name.

5. Fixed an issue where the Report Gold Selling function would not properly work on dead characters.

UI

1. The Landing Reinforcement icon has been added next to the radar, and the organization of the icons

has been changed.

2. Game Alerts have been added, and are accessible by clicking on the icon above the radar. It will

display important information such as fortress captures.

3. Fixed various issues relating to resizing the UI with the slider in [System Preferences Interface].

4. Instance Difficulty has been added to the Instance Info UI.

- Level 65 instances are measured in Red, while others are measured in light blue.

5. Fixed an overlap issue when Beritra Invasion monsters and Veille/Mastarius appear.

NPC

1. Fixed an issue where Balaur monsters would not appear in the Upper Abyss bases.

2. Added a message when Guardian Spirit monsters spawn in the Upper Abyss.

3. Changed some spawn locations for Wurg the Glacier and Terracrusher.

4. Fixed an issue where artifacts in Kaldor could not be teleported to.
