"In Italy the vast majority of mobile sales still happen in stores and Waze has proved to be an effective platform in driving new customers in our point of sales." Fastweb drives traffic to their stores using Waze ads. CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW Fastweb, a major Italian telecommunications company, used Waze to promote its newest internet offer in 4 key cities - Rome, Naples, Genoa & Bari. To maximize its impact on drivers, Fastweb leveraged the complementarity of Waze ads formats to raise the awareness of the offer - via Zero-Speed Takeovers - and to drive potential customers to their stores - via Pins & Arrows. CAMPAIGN EXECUTION Even though the campaign execution was straightforward, the smart use of the different ad formats led to impressive results. The number of total navigations (organic and paid) to the 19 advertised Fastweb locations was multiplied by 4 during the Waze ads campaign. This advertising presence on Waze led Fastweb to increase its navigations share by 8 percentage points amongst telecommunications destinations in Italy.
