FASHION E BUSINESS• E-business is a term used to describe

businesses run on the Internet, or utilizing Internet technologies to improve the productivity or profitability of a business.

• The term may be used to describe any form of electronic business —- that is to say, any business which utilizes a computer.

• This usage is somewhat archaic, however, and in most contexts ebusiness refers exclusively to Internet businesses.

IMPLEMENTATION OF E BUSINESS• The most common implementation of e-business is as an additional, or in

some cases primary, storefront. By selling products and services online, an e-business is able to reach a much wider consumer base than any traditional brick-and-mortar store could ever hope for. This function of e-business is referred to as ecommerce, and the terms are occasionally used interchangeably.

• An e-business may also use the Internet to acquire wholesale products or supplies for in-house production. This facet of e-business is sometimes referred to as eprocurement, and may offer businesses the opportunity to cut their costs dramatically. Even many e-businesses which operate without an electronic storefront now use eprocurement as a way to better track and manage their purchasing.

• In addition to buying and selling products, e-business may also handle other traditional business aspects. The use of electronic chat as a form of technical and customer support is an excellent example of this.

• An e-business which uses chat to supplement its traditional phone support finds a system which saves incredible amounts of time while providing opportunities unavailable through traditional support.

• By using virtual computer systems, for example, technical support operators can remotely access a customer's computer and assist them in correcting a problem. And with the download of a small program, all pertinent information about the hardware and software specifications for a user's computer may be relayed to the support operator directly, without having to walk a customer through personally collecting the data.

ABOUT INKFRUIT• Inkfruit is a place for people to submit, discover and buy amazing

custom t-shirt designs created by artists from around the world. Based around an ongoing t-shirt design contest, all of the designs you see on Inkfruit have been submitted by our community. Headquartered in Bombay, India, Inkfruit (then called Gnome) officially launched in early December 2007.

• Inkfruit works on two things. – The first is to give the best designs and the best quality tees.

They have started offering our t-shirts only online. Cutting out the high street saves their money and lets them make better products.

– The second is to empower designers across the world to give an output to their genius through their website. Inkfruit provides them with a platform where great designs are recognized and rewarded.

PLACING AN ORDER• Browse through the tees currently available in the ‘Shop' section. One can also

search for specific tees by size, colour or any tag associated with that tee.

• Once the customer finds the tee he wants, click on the icon for the size and sex of the tee. This will add that tee in that size and sex to the shopping basket. This will be indicated by a message that will flash on the screen.

• Also multiple tees can be added by just repeating the above procedure.

• Once the customer is done adding tees to the shopping cart, click on the ‘Shopping Cart' on the right top corner to review the tees customer has selected.

• The next step is to proceed to Shipping where shipping details has to be entered and confirm the order.

• Last step is to proceed to Billing where the mode of payment has to be selected. If the payment is online, the customer is taken to a secure bank interface where he can make the payment in a completely safe way. If the payment is made by COD (cash on delivery), the order will be sent to the customer and he will have to pay on receiving the T-shirts!

• Customers also receive an e-mail from inkfruit once the order is shipped.

PAYMENT METHODS• To make sure there are no hassles in getting hands on an awesome

Ink Fruit tee, they have provided customer’s with a variety of methods of payment as below:– Credit Cards (Mastercard, American Express and Visa)

– Online Transfer (funds can be transfered from the bank account to inkfruit’s account online)

– Demand Draft or Cheque (customer can send them a Demand Draft and they will dispatch the tee when the draft is realized)

– Cash-on-Delivery (customer can order the tee and pay for it when it reaches him)

– They do not accept Switch, Electron, Maestro or other international debit cards.

HOW SECURE ARE ONLINE PAYMENTS

• Any personal information given to inkfruit (www.inkfruit.com) will be protected with paranoia. The information will never be disclosed to any third parties. inkfruit.com's server secures all the personal information with up-to-date firewall and encryption techniques during the ordering process.

Ink Fruit does not store any credit card or online bank account information at any time.

When a customer browses through secure areas of www.inkfruit.com (payment gateway, etc), a small lock icon will appear in the lower right-corner of the web browser. When this icon is present, and in the locked position, customer knows that information on that page will be secured. Added online security to protect his personal information from unauthorized use is provided by using advanced SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption managed by specialists in the field.

TRACKING ORDER HISTORY

• A customer can visit the ‘Order History’ page in his profile. This will show him whether his order is pending or is dispatched. In case if the status of the order says dispatched and he has still not received it, he can call the customer care number.

PRIVACY POLICY

• Inkfruit.com collects only the information necessary for them to complete order or to contact customers regarding the status of their order. The information includes name, email address, shipping address, and billing address. Ink Fruit does not store credit card or online bank account information .

Inkfruit.com does not rent or sell name or personal information.

Inkfruit.com does utilize "cookies" to help recognize as a repeat visitor and to track traffic patterns on the site. This information is completely anonymous. They use this information only to improve the user-friendliness and functionality of inkfruit.com.
