FAIR

Fair is a very typical festivity celebrated in Andalusia. In our town it is celebrated in September

29 and it lasts 5 days. The most famous and important fair is Seville April

Fair.

Eveybody can enjoy this festivity. There are places and activities for children, teenagers and adults.

Adults can spend a good time inside «casetas» which are decorated marquee tents where you can drink, eat, listen to flamenco music and dance sevillanas. The most typical drinks are «manzanilla» wine and «rebujito» (a mixture of «manzanilla» wine, soda water, mint and ice). People drink these drinks while they are eating «tapas».

There is also a part where there are «casetas» for teenagers. These casetas are like small discos where

you can also drink and dance listening to music.

Finally, children and even teenagers and adults can enjoy going on different rides as: bumper cars, roller-coasters…

Most women wear the typical dress during these days. It is a long dress with flounces. It is usually a colorful dress with spots but there are dresses in lots of colours and prints.

Some men also wear a typical dress called «traje de corto» (short jacket, tight trousers and boots).

Horses carriages are also one of the most typical things that you can see in a fair.
