PASTOR’S “CONNECT” CLASS OFFERED Dr. Daniel Dickard teaches four-week “Connect” Classes for FABC guests and new members during the Sunday School hour each Sunday, at 9:45a.m. If you are visiting Friendly Avenue, we want you in the Connect Class to learn about FABC. You can begin any time! You can get the entire four weeks – whatever Sunday you begin. Deadline for Reservations (if not on permanent list) and Cancellations MUST be made by 5:00 pm on Mondays. The number of reservations are reported to the caterer on TUESDAY MORNINGS.

Stitch ‘N Time Ministry News

There will be no Stitch’N Time meetings in December due to the busyness of the season. We will resume in January.

If you have an extra dollar or five, consider donating to Stitch’N Time. Just put the money in an envelope and direct it to Stitch’N Time. We operate strictly on donations.

This is a ministry that affects so many people: The VA Hospital, Hospice, Women’s Hospital, Hayes Inman School for Developmentally Challenged, Brenner’s Chil-dren’s Hospital and the Cancer Center.

Any scraps that are left go in a pillow that is then donated to the animal shelter. We touch a lot of lives. Your donations can help us continue! Merry Christmas from Stitch ’N Time.

PLAN TO ATTEND THE FRIENDLY CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON

Our Friendly Christmas Luncheon will be held this Tuesday,

December 10, at 12 o’clock noon, in the Multi-Purpose Room. This

luncheon is sponsored by the Diamond Set, but is open to everyone!

If you are working, you can come on your lunch hour. You can get in

the Christmas spirit as you listen to Gary Hastings and Turner Battle

perform for our program.

Our theme will be “Joy to the World,” as will be shown by a sign

made by Bert McDowell, to be displayed on our stage! We know that

each of you feels the joy that was brought to the world by the birth of

our Savior! Each of you decorates your house to make it joyful. We

are grateful to those of you who are decorating tables for the

luncheon like you decorate your table at home for Christmas!

Tickets are $10 per person. This morning is your last chance to

purchase one. You can purchase them in the hallway. If you have

specific people who will be sitting at your tables, please let us know

when you purchase your tickets, so that we can assign them to the

proper place.
