Sometimes, instead of using noun subjects, a subject pronoun will be used.

For example, instead of saying Bob is at school. Bob is going to his classes.

One might say: Bob is at school. He is going to his classes.

The noun subject “Bob” has been replaced by the subject pronoun “he”.

Conjugating a verb is basically matching the correct subject and verb together.
