Objectives:Reduce misdirection of

drivers arriving from the Century Plaza Hyatt Hotel going to their self-parking garage

Drivers now approach the security booth and have to make a close U-turn to exit West Century Drive or go to the Hinoki restaurant or the self-parking garage

Additional Entryway Possibilities

• White pavement strip by each STOP sign – APPROVED

• *Modification of right exit gate to improve its fully-open angle, thus encouraging vehicles not to cross over the double yellow center lines

• *Modify the curb/sidewalk across from the entry booth so misdirected vehicles that need to make a U-turn can avoid running up on the sidewalk

*Observations from the front entry signage study but neither concluded as necessary at this time, pending six-month assessment of current enhancements, nor budgeted by the Board
