joYFuL to re-FinD YourSeLFMarvel yourself at getting lost in the majesty of the Dolo-mites... This is the trekking in “Alta Via TV1”, a unique path, 123 km long, along the crown of the mountains between Mount Grappa and the Cansiglio plateau.

Traces of the First World War, flavours of the typical typical “malgas” (shepherd’s huts), ancient remains of the Roman and Medieval times... All of this in a high-altitude trail that, thanks to its location, can be run through without snow from March until November.

Several paths are then suitable for nordic walking, from the hills of the piedmont to the dirt road in the countryside: a real wellness outdoor activity, well-suited for everybody!

A JUMP INTO THE HEARTa jump into tHe HeartThe hang-glider and the paraglider are very simple means to fly: a slope and some minute minute of heating gives hours of flight, without any noise or pollution, deep into the nature. All the Treviso piedmont is particularly adapt to practise free flight.

Eastbound the River Piave, in the Vittorio Veneto and Revine Lakes area, passing through Valdobbiadene, then reaching Mount Grappa, several pe-culiarities make this territory ideal to the free flight.

In particular, the south-western slope of Mount Grappa is considered as a very important destination for all the free flight lovers in Europe and in the whole World. The morphology of the soil, with steep slopes, that brings quickly from the plain to the take off sites, at 1500 m along the Mount Grappa slope, benefits the thermal formation. The special flight conditions are due to the constancy of the thermals, both during the day, ensuring the pilots several hours of flight, and during the year, removing the breaks. Moreover, the take off sites are very accessible, and the landscape and the environment are unique and incomparable: all the Venetian plain is under the pilots’ “wings”, with a clear sight of Treviso, Padua, Vicenza and Ven-ice southbound, and northbound the Dolomites.
