The  Stages  in  Leadership  Development  Executive  Coaching   in  Strategic  and  Holistic  Leadership  enables  Stage  Development   from  highly  effective   business   operations   and   account   management   to   inspiring   strategic   leadership.   This  reflects  the  shift  from  the  high  performing  stage  of  Achiever  to  authentic  leadership  as  a  Catalyst  and  transformational  leadership  at  Strategist.  

Here   are   the   Stages   in   Leadership  Development,   showing   the  distribution   of   Executives   at   each  Stage.  Achievers  accounting  for  33%  of  Executives   number   amongst   the   top  50%,   9%   are   Catalysts   falling   within  the   top   15%   while   Strategists  constitute   the   top   6%   of   Executive  leaders  who  are  able  to  lead,  hold  and  sustain   widespread   business  transformation   to   meet   the   demands  of  an  evolving  world.  

This   model   of   leadership   development   forms   a   holarchy.   The   strengths   of   each   stage   are  incorporated  in  the  following  while  the  reactive  emotional  patterns  within  earlier  stages  are  explored  and   healed.   As   we   develop   our   leadership   capacity   to   gradually   embrace   more   of   who   we   are,  become   understanding   rather   than   judgmental   and   discerning   rather   than   critical,   we   can  increasingly  utilize  our  authentic  power  to  shape,  collaborate  and  transform  the  world  around  us  in  order  to  generate  sustainable  outcomes  of  mutual  benefit  to  all.  

By   setting   holistic   leadership   development   within   the   design   and   implementation   of   a  transformational  strategic  business  context,  the  higher  order   leadership  capacity   is  both  demanded  and   exercised.   The   natural   tension   that   ensues   enables   us   to   learn   how   to   operate   beyond   our  conventional  autopilot  and  meet  situations  with  a  broader  and  deeper  perspective.  

PhD  Research  Study  Nine  Executive  clients  agreed  to  participate   in  my  PhD  Research  Study.  They  undertook  a  Stage  Leadership  Assessment  at  the  beginning  and  end  of  their  12-­‐month  Coaching  Program.    

Every  single  client  moved  a  full  Stage  in  Leadership  Development  in  the  one  year.  Most  shifted  to  Catalyst,   and   one   went   through   to   Strategist   with   another   knocking   on   its   door.   This   was  remarkable  given  that  such  a  shift  is  commonly  thought  to  take  several  years!

Coaching  Methodology    The  Global   Leadership   Profile   sets   the   scene   for   Stage   Leadership  Development.   It   calibrates   the  current  developmental  stage  and  offers  significant  insights  into  the  underlying  dynamics.  

Our  12  Coaching  Meetings  run  for  90  minutes  and  take  place  every  4  weeks  at  the  same  time  and  day.   The   exception   to   this   is   a   4-­‐week   break   during   Dec/Jan   and   June/July.   Our   meetings   are  scheduled  over  a  12-­‐month  period  and  must  be  completed  within  a  15-­‐month  timeframe.    

Clients   are  welcome   to   be   in   touch   in   between  Coaching  Meetings,   particularly   for   the   review  of  work  assignments  that  arise  during  the  course  of  our  Coaching  Meetings  and  also  to  inquire  into  any  specific  challenges  or  opportunities  that  emerge  throughout  the  year.

Antoinette  led  Leadership  Capital  Solutions  with  Korn  Ferry  Asia  Pacific;  was  the  GM  People  and  Culture  with  Vector  New  Zealand;  and  previously  led  People  and  Culture  across  Latin  America  and  Africa  with  Shell  International  based  in  London.  

She  will  soon  complete  her  PhD  in  the  Drivers  of  Leadership  Transformation  at  the  Macquarie  Graduate  School  of  Management,  building  on  an  MA  in  Management  Research,  an  MBA  from  London  Business  School  and  an  Honours  degree  in  Law  and  BA  in  Political  Science  from  Auckland  University.
