Steps in transferring excel table to AutoCAD:
1. From excel eload file, hide unnecessary columns that are not
needed. Below are the needed columns

2. Filter substation number and switchgear number you wish to
copy (for example substation no.
141141141141----SSSSSSSS----01010101, then switchgear/busbar

LSWGLSWGLSWGLSWG----1141114111411141----NNNN103103103103).Highlight
all and copy to another sheet (not necessary to copy to another
sheet. My preference only).

3. Once copied, arrange the table, text height, alignment,
column width etc. Please see below steps:
3.1 Delete items with strikethrough (check also with if this
item will be deleted or not)3.2 Add column number after
strikethrough items were deleted3.3 Make sure there is no double
layer text per cell.

3.3 Items filled with greengreengreengreen must be , items
filled in blueblueblueblue must be and lastly, items in red must be
DELETEDDELETEDDELETEDDELETED....
3.4 Once done, the table should look like this.

must be "0" in decimal places while items in green are variable.

3.7 Once done, make sure to enableenableenableenable all

font . Then highlight the whole table and "COPY"

4. In AutoCAD,

4.2 In Paste Special, select AutoCAD EntitiesAutoCAD

4.3 Table should look like this,

4.4 Click this part to select all

4.5 After selecting all, change the "Text style" to "ARIAL" and
"Text height" to "2.5"
4.6 Adjust the size of rows and columns based on the snap shot
below. Just click on the row/column you want to alter then you can

4.7 Once done, highlight the table and "explode" 2 times. (1st
is the table and the text will be MTEXT, 2nd is to explode the
MTEXT to become single text)
4.8 Match properties the text of the previous table from the
drawing and match it to your new table.4.9 Type "TCASE" then
highlight your new table then "enter". Select "UPPERCASE" then
that's it. Your table is now ready. It should
look like this.
