Example of Interactive, Embedded 3D Scott Pakin [email protected] August 28, 2010 In this example, I used Blender to model a 3D image, my asymptote export script to convert from Blender to Asymptote, Asymptote to produce a PRC file, and L A T E X to typeset this text and embed the PRC file (using the movie15 L A T E X package). Click on the image below to activate the interactive 3D mode. Then, drag your mouse to rotate the image and use the 3D toolbar to perform other operations on the model. Note that currently only Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader display interactive 3D models. Other PDF viewers will show only a noninteractive, 2D, “poster” image.
