Microsoft Office• I have learnt that Microsoft Office package

can be used in this project for making director notes a bit like a diary and present them in a interactive and visual way. From the use of this software you can store it electronically and use it on any computer to update or emend information.

Access Sites:Blogger

• IMDB (Internet Movie Data Base) – a great tool for looking at user ratings, and demographic breakdowns according to age or gender. Also gives useful information on the film such as Production Company & Director.

• YouTube – is an essential tool and is so useful for quickly accessing opening sequences to movies and comments that people have made towards it.

• Blogger – an online way to store and post all information and notes containing the process of the film opening. Its an easy way to view, update or store information.

Camcorder

• Digital cameras or camcorders, there are so many devices that now capture high quality footage, that is it difficult to choose a format at the lower budget end. I used a good quality camcorder which has the ability to playback on the device, and can record the footage on the device which can be kept or discarded depends if it’s going to be used. Its easier than transferring the footage t the hard drive compared to the old generation of DV tapes.

Editing

• Adobe After Effects – Used to create special effects which cant be don in real life like deadly explosions. Also cool text transitions for credits which makes it look more high budget compared to normal text appearing.

• Adobe Premier Pro – Based upon timelines, you can edit video or audio and add effects like colour correction., to make rough cuts or final cuts of a finished product.
