Evaluation Our assignment was to recreate our own version of la jetee an original apocalyptic film. As a group we decided it would be appropriate to use narration to tell a story. A Brand new social networking site has begun brain washing the worlds population into staring at computer screens they’ve become addicted & drained. The more they stay on the site, the more it kills the brain because bigger frequencie s are sent out the brain. In this essay I’m going to look out audio + visual aspects of ‘Hackers Frequency’ my groups ‘La Jetee’. First thing you hear is piano this sets the tone of our story. Once the tone has been set the narrator’s voice beings telling the story. Combining voice over pictures and music brings sadness to the scenario. Had to record in a quiet beneficial environmental room. For our first practice ‘La Jetee’ had less sound effects ‘wind’, ‘evil laugh’ ‘screams’. An artistic imaginatio n laid out through expression. We Spent 6 weeks doing paperwork, proposals, risk assessment beginning pre production using ‘Final Cut Pro’, ‘Adobe After Effects’ .
