Brazil’s main Oil & Gas industry challenge
Prominp is a Brazilian government programme for
Oil & Gas industry development. It intends to
identify constraints and respective solutions to
improve industry competitiveness.
As an example, in professional education, Prominp
is promoting classes for training people from
certified welding to reliability engineering.
A major challenge for Prominp is to integrate EPC
chain of contractors, oil companies and universities
in order to improve the whole industry productivity.

Activities performed by CE-EPC
•Disseminate good practices and knowledge management related to
domestic supply chain industry EPC;
•Implement a community of good practices with source in the
exchange of experiences and knowledge on topics related to supply
chain EPC;
•Manage in conjunction with various universities, R & D projects with
high added value to the national industry;
•Strengthening and improving the business network between
members, fostering mutual collaboration and synergy among
different components of the chain;
•Articulate and promote integration with development agencies to
world-class expertise;

associated with the EPC chain nationwide and Industry News;
•EPC in Practice: EPC in Practice: Seminars informative topics of
general interest. Dissemination of proven successful experience in
the industry locally and internationally;
•EPC Knowlege Management: Virtual library, discussion forums,
technical consultancy and management in designing, planning and
design of projects for investment. Conjunction with entities for
promoting knowledge globally recognized;
