Historical Background Established in the year 1888
The park was previously a tin mine.
Founded by Alfred Venning in the late 19th century
Initially called Public Gardens but later renamed to Lake Gardens. Also known as Taman Tasik Perdana.
In 2011, it was renamed to Perdana Botanical Gardens.
General Information First large-scale recreational park.
Measures up to 91.6 hectars.
Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Consist of a few different parks. Eg: bird park, botanical park, deer park and a few other museum.
It also serves as a place that preserves the old trees such asbayans and raintrees.
Buildings, Sculpture Museums -provides an overview of Malaysian history and culture. -Muzium Negara is a palatial structure built in an aspect of Minangkabau architecture.
