The volume is derived from the surface area of the estuary, which is 68 * 106 m2 and the average depth of 4.4 m obtained from detailed bathymetric measurements (Rejie O. The fish were fed 38 tonnes of feed per day. The total production per cycle was 2,727 tonnes and the total production per year from cage culture was 5,454 tonnes.
