RESOURCE PERSON:
Sr. Callista Roy, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, a highly respected
nurse theorist honoured as a Living Legend (2007) and
presently a professor at the William F. Connell School of
Nursing at Boston College.
Dr. Roy is known for her development and continual
updating of the Roy Adaptation Model—an extensively
used framework for theory, practice, and research in
nursing.
Her Books on the model have been translated into many
languages and the model is cited extensively in scholarly
books and peer-reviewed journals worldwide.
Roy’s Adaptation theory is widely used by nurses in
patient care, teaching and nursing research.
This Pre-conference workshop is a chance of a lifetime to
achieve a firsthand experience on implementation of the
theory from the forerunner herself.
