But how do we go about it? Let us read a short story about ‘Chester
Greenwood’ who designed something very interesting to overcome his
problem. ‘Chester Greenwood lived a long time age in Maine. Chester
had a problem. His ears got very cold in the winter. He set a goal.
He wanted to find a way to keep his ears warm. Chester Greenwood
planned to use a heavy wool scarf to stay warm. He tied it around
his head. It kept his ears warm. However, the scarf was itchy. He
wanted to find a better solution to his problem. He planned again.
He made ear flaps to cover his ears. He used different materials
and realized wool is the best suitable for earmuffs. Chester made
oval loops out of wire. Then he tried to cover the loops with soft
materials. This kept his ears warm. With the help of what he had
already made, he modified the designed and made a very comfortable
band over the ear muffs. a. On the basis of what you just read, let
us design something very interesting. You are asked to design a
