Even your own mind is sometimes not safe.

Shooting down ideas before they even have a chance to bloom is a recipe for closing down the creative process.

Take your mind off what you’re working on, and let your subconscious do the work.

Don’t force it.

If you’re afraid of what it means to not be able to come up with a new great idea, you’ll stifle inspiration.

If there are things you know of that already connect you with inspiration, use them!
