1. ENABLE USB PORT

RIGHT CLICK ON THE USB ICON THEN CHOOSE THE SILICON LABS ELTEK SMARTPACK.

1. Connection to Controller unit

To confirm connection is to right click on USB icon then connection should be highlighted and or displaying a tick on the left hand side of the description of the connection.

1. CHOOSE THE SOFTWARE

Power Suite 2.3 is the software to use for the ELTEK RACK. There are other software versions in circulation. Use 2.3 first, if not download the version being used on site by using the CD that is located on the shelf of the Eltek Rack.

IMPORTANT: Click on the FIND COM PORT tab.

2. Setup Settings

Step 1: Click on the Pen Icon to setup Communication Port Number. Step 2: Write the same number port on the Communication Port Windows that you got in FIND COM PORT Number.

3. Log into Controller

Click on the ‘Login’ tab in the ‘Access’ menu. This slide is of version 3.2

Enter the password ‘709’ in the Security tab and press OK. This slide is of version 3.2

5. Configuring the Power system

In the ‘Company’ tab ’enter your company name’ followed by – KORDIA. In the ‘Site’ tab, enter the Site JV number followed by the site name (e.g. JS9975 Menangle). 6. Configuring the Date & Time

7. Active Alarm Group

In the Active Alarm Groups tab are the configured and current alarms

8. Configuring Alarm Group

Click on ‘Outputs’ tab and tick the boxes as detailed below then tick Apply then OK tabs. Note: If RBS is installed and utilising -48V to +24V DC converter then the ‘CONVERTER FAIL’ Alarm must be assigned to ‘Alarm output1’ (DC Urgent) instead of ‘Alarm output2’. This slide is of version 3.2

9. Current Event Log

Click on the EVENT LOG tab, this will display the LATEST xx EVENTS tab, click on this tab which then displays all the recent events, alarms.

10. Mains Configuration

Click on the Mains tab, this will then display the Mains Summary tab. The number of Phases that the Eltek rack has is configured here.

11. Rectifier Configuration

Click on Rectifiers to see or display the Summary, Configuration or Efficiency Manager. The number of rectifiers in the Eltek rack is configured in the Configuration tab.

12. Battery String Configuration

Click on the BATTERY tab, this will then display the Status, Configuration, Test, Boost, Temperature Monitor & Summary Configuration. The number of battery strings in the Eltek rack is configured in the Configuration tab.

13. LOG OUT

Click on either the DISCONNECT tab or the LOG OUT tab

14. Disconnect from Controller unit
