Elisa Schauer

A Colorado Native and an adventure enthusiast. She has always had a passion for helping people out and figuring out why people do the things they do. During her time at CU she was able to combine her passion for health and fitness, her passion for people, and her passion for the advertising world with a Degree in Advertising and an Additional Field of Study in Integrative e Physiology. She enjoys figuring out what makes people tick, and also providing people with a solution or answer to what they have been looking for. She works well with teams and also works well independently.

I came across this posting for "residents" on LinkedIn, and I believe that I would be a great fit for this position. My name is Elisa Schauer and I graduated from CU Boulder in December of 2013 with a degree in Advertising and an Additional Field of Study in Integrative Physiology. I currently work part-time as a Social Media Manager and Marketing Associate, but I am very interested in the Account Manager Resident position. I have always wanted to be in the Ad Agency environment, and love the work that EVB does. I believe that my experience at CU and my strong interpersonal and communication skills makes me a great candidate for this position.

I have always enjoyed interacting with people and I believe that communication is the most important aspect of any relationship and one of the best skills to have. During my time at CU, and in high school, I worked as a waitress. I believe that being a waitress provided me with great communication skills, the ability to multitask, and the ability to thrive in high stress environments. During my time at CU I was also a member and the Race Logistics Officer of the National Championship Triathlon Team. This experience taught me how to manage and coordinate large groups of people. During my Marketing internship at American Rec and my current job, I have gained experience writing press releases, content for websites, and content for various social media platforms. I believe that my experiences at school, my past internship position and my current job makes me a great candidate for this residency position.

Experience • During my time at CU I had the opportunity to work with real clients, and

worked on the strategy and media planning side. We created surveys and completed market research for these clients, presented our creative brief and then presented our final material to the clients. (see the following slides for examples)

• During my internship at American Rec I created some email copy for email

blasts and blog post content.

• At my current job I have experience writing press releases, blog content,

website copy and social media content for two brands . I am involved with creating some images for social media and creating and managing online promotions and giveaways. I am also one of the main contacts for people when they have questions about donations and I manage the donation program.
