Biomedical ResearchesTo illustrate the electromagneticcomputer simulation to the design ofimplantable devices, a simple pacemakerexample is considered. The exampledevice is about 3.5 x 2 x 2 cm with 2.5cm bent wire antenna. It is designed tosimulate a pacemaker and uses the heartelectrode as the antenna.

Biomedical ResearchesAn important topic of discussion today is the impact of radio frequencyelectromagnetic fields on human tissue. People are interested in

- the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) in the entire head, - the 1 and 10 gram averages of the SAR values including the peak value locations, - the whole-body average SAR throughout the head, - conduction currents on the outer surfaces of the head, - and various antenna characteristics including input impedance and efficiency.
