Poco a poco los coles van cambiando y cada vez están mas
chulis, Este verano nos cerraron el porche del colegio de El
Peral y ahora ya no pasamos tanto frío, y en Graja de
Iniesta nos han cambiado las cortinas y la alfombra de
infantil, mirar que cosas más bonita.

El dinero recaudado de la venta de los juguetes irá destinado para ayudar a
Cesar.
Cesar es un niño de 5 años que necesita con urgencia un trasplante de
médula. Su familia, tras vender sus propiedades, reunió la mayor parte de los
400.000 euros que cuesta la operación., pero aún faltan 9.000 euros que
esperan recaudar gracias a asociaciones benéficas y ha acciones como la
nuestra.
Esperamos que nuestro granito de arena ayude a Cesar a superar su
enfermedad y pronto pueda jugar con sus amigos y compañeros de colegio.
Con la llegada de la navidad vienen también los buenos deseos de amor,
paz, felicidad …..pero todos estamos esperando la llegada de Papa Noel y los
Reyes Magos cargados de regalos para nosotros, y cuantos más mejor .
Hagamos que vuelva el verdadero Espíritu Navideño, cambiemos por un día el
recibir por el dar y el pedir por el ofrecer.
Con esta idea hemos pensado hacer en el CRA “El día de los juguetes” en
el cual todo los alumnos que tengan juguetes usados y que no utilicen los pue-
den traer al colegio y otros alumnos los pueden comprar por un módico precio.

Tras conseguir Castilla—La Mancha las competencias en educación, ahora
ha elaborado una ley de educación para los Castellano manchegos que viene a
concretar la Ley Orgánica de Educación (L.O.E.). Hasta ahora sólo esta la
propuesta de ley, que se puede consultar en el portal de educación de la página
de la junta (www.educa.jccm.es) .
El gobierno ha abierto un debate y esta pidiendo opinión a todos los
sectores de la comunidad educativa.
Las aportaciones se pueden hacer a modo particular en el blog que hay en
el portal de educación o puede hacer sus propuestas y sugerencias en el colegio
para que desde éste se eleve dicha propuesta a la consejería de educación.
Siendo una ley que nos afecta a todos esperamos que todos la leáis y hagáis
vuestras aportaciones.

Nuestras maestras nos contaron la historia de una
señora que ahora en otoño trabaja mucho se llama LA
CASTAÑERA, y sabéis que ocurrió que una tarde vino a
visitarnos, nos contó un montón de cosas, como donde
vive, donde trabaja, como hace su trabajo, y lo mejor de
todo nos trajo muchísimas castañas, nos las asó y comimos
hasta que la barriga se nos puso muy muy gordita,
estaban muy calentitas y muy ricas.

En la clase de primaria del “cole” de Castillejo se ha convertido en una clase
práctica de cocina. En la clase de Plástica los chicos se han puesto manos a la obra y éste
ha sido el resultado.... un magnífico salchichón de chocolate.
¡Mirad como se divierten y atended a cómo se hace... uhmmm
está para chuparse los dedos!
Salchichón de Chocolate
Antes de que te lances... ...a preparar la receta, es conveniente: Que te asegures de tener todos los ingredientes. Que no tengas hambre. Que tengas las manos bien limpias. Que te asegures de dejar todo bien limpio y recogido al terminar.
- 14 Galletas María o de desayuno.
- 5 cucharadas enormes de Nesquik, ColaCao u otro chocolate en polvo. - 5 cucharadas de Leche condensada.
- Una bolsa pequeña de plástico, para meter dentro las galletas. - Papel de plata (lo usaremos para envolver el chocolate). - Un cuenco para mezclarlo todo.
- Una cuchara, que nos servirá para medir el chocolate y la leche. - Un congelador. No hace falta que tengas uno para tí solo, basta con un hueco en el congelador familiar.

MODO DE HACERLO
Espachurrar las galletas. ESPERA!!!! Debes hacerlo de forma que queden todos los trozos juntos, sin que caigan al suelo. Si no se te ocurre una idea mejor, te propongo meter las galletas en una bolsa de plástico, de esa forma estarán controladas cuando las conviertas en migas.
Mezclar la leche con el chocolate y las galletas. Vierte las migas de galleta en el cuenco que hayas elegido. Después pon, con una cuchara, el chocolate en polvo. NO LO HAGAS demasiado deprisa porque entonces se formará una nube de polvo de chocolate a tu alrededor y se te meterá en los ojos y te hará estornudar y será horrible y se tardarán horas en limpiarlo. Mejor, realiza la operación despacio. Agrega la leche condensada, pero NUNCA con la misma cuchara que has utilizado para el chocolate. Mezcla todo lo que hay en el bol, hasta que se quede una masa compacta con pequeños "tropezones".
NO TE ASUSTES!!! Ese es el aspecto que debe tener.
Envolver la pasta de chocolate y galletas. Corta un cuadrado de papel de plata y colócalo sobre la mesa. Moldea la pasta de forma que quede alargada, como un SALCHICHÓN y envuélvela en el papel de plata, enrollándolo. ¡¡¡Cuidado!!! No aprietes demasiado, el papel de plata no se debe romper!!
Colocar el salchichón en el congelador.
Deja que pase un día - en realidad nunca he conocido a nadie que pudiera esperar tanto tiempo para probarlo, pero es el tiempo indicado en la Receta Oficial del Salchichón de Chocolate -. Sácalo del congelador y corta tantas rodajas de tu fantástico Salchichón de Chocolate como vayas a comer y...

Los alumnos del 1er. Ciclo de E. Primaria de Puebla del Salvador hemos realizado
dos actividades entorno al otoño.
Una pequeña iniciación de conocimientos teóricos al interesante mundo de las setas.
Buscando información en internet, en libros, y con ayuda de nuestras familias que nos
han aportado diferentes recetas de cocina.
Con todo ello hemos confeccionado el siguiente cuadernillo.

En otoño además de caerse las hojas, irse las golondrinas,
también cuando llueve salen las setas y nosotros en el cole hemos
estado aprendiendo que hay setas de muchos colores, tamaños,
unas que se pueden comer y otra que no se pueden comer porque
son venenosas.
Nuestros papas nos trajeron setas de distintas formas, para que
las viésemos y aprendimos que tienen tres partes el pie, las laminas y el sombrero.

Los alumnos de E. Infantil de Puebla de Salvador hemos
realizado muchas actividades sobre el otoño. Aquí os
mostramos como nos quedó el mural de los frutos del
otoño, Sandra ha escrito los carteles con los nombres.
Los alumnos de Puebla de Salvador celebramos el día de la
biblioteca (24 de octubre) creando un Club de Lectura y
confeccionando marcapáginas. Jugamos con el lenguaje resolviendo
adivinanzas.
Otra actividad ha consistido en describir a
un animal muy característico de esta estación, “La
ardilla”, aportando cada uno lo que sabíamos de ella.
También la hemos coloreado para ilustrar la descripción.

Hemos tenido un inicio de curso con muchas lluvias, que aunque siempre son bien recibidas, este año ha hecho que se retrasase el final de la vendimia. También hemos tenido días de calor y de frío, incluso nos ha nevado. Aquí os mostramos los datos termométricos y pluviométricos de estos meses indicando la temperatura máxima y mínima de cada día y los litros de agua caídos.

Como sabéis cuando llega el otoño también es
el tiempo de la vendimia, por eso en nuestro cole
hemos hecho muchas actividades relacionadas con
este trabajo del campo.
Hicimos un mural de la viña, los utensilios que
se utilizan para vendimiar, las tijeras, el remolque,
el tractor…
Visitamos también la Cooperativa de La virgen del Espino del
pueblo para ver que se hacía allí con la uva, vimos como descarga-
ba el remolque y nos enseñaron donde almacenaban el vino y como
pasaba de un sitio a otro por unos tubos, estuvo muy divertido y
aprendimos mucho.
Luego en clase nosotros con un
mortero hicimos mosto cogimos granos
de uva los echamos en el mortero y
empezamos a machacarlos hasta que
salió el zumo de la uva, que nos bebimos
y estaba buenísimo.
Un poquito de ese zumo lo dejamos fermentando durante unos
días y vimos como se iba convirtiendo en vino cambiando de color
y de olor.

En el cole hemos aprendido que nuestro
cuerpo está formado por muchos, huesos,
articulaciones, órganos, que están dentro de
nuestro cuerpo , y que permiten que todo
nuestro cuerpo se mueva y tenga vida. Por eso
realizamos un muñeco con tubos de papel
higiénico, y bolas de corcho, para ver como
las articulaciones nos permite mover las
piernas, brazos, cabeza y tronco.

Historia de Halloween
La historia de Halloween se remonta a más de 2.500 años. Cuando el año celta terminaba, al final del verano, se celebraba el festival de Samhain, el preciso día 31 de octubre de nuestro calendario y el ganado era llevado de los prados a los establos para el invierno. Ese último día, al caer la noche, se celebraba la fiesta de los muertos y se suponía que los espíritus de éstos podían salir de los cementerios y apoderarse de los cuerpos de los vivos pa-ra resucitar. Para evitarlo, se hacían hogueras enormes y los druidas hac-ían conjuros. Se decía que durante esa noche los hechizos y la magia eran más potentes que en cualquier otro día del año. En los poblados celtas en-suciaban las casas y las "decoraban" con huesos, calaveras y demás cosas desagradables para que los muertos pasaran de largo asustados y así evitar ser desposeídos de sus cuerpos por los espíritus de los muertos. Cuando los romanos conquistaron a los celtas, parte de esta celebración a los muertos pasó a la Roma cristiana. En el siglo IV DC en Roma, el cristianismo trató de acabar con todas las cosas paganas y las religiones antiguas. Pero los celtas no podían dejar del todo sus costumbres, así que la iglesia cristiana les cambió el nombre de Samhain a All Hallow Eve (Víspera de Todos los Santos) y la razón de esta celebración se convirtió en la adoración cristiana de todos los mártires. La iglesia cristiana del siglo VII celebraba el día de Todos los Santos en Mayo, pero la gente segu-ía esperando la llegada de fantasmas el 31 de octubre, así que la fiesta a los santos fué cambiada al 1 de noviembre. La fiesta fue exportada a los Estados Unidos por emigrantes sobre todo irlandeses en el siglo XIX, más o menos hacia 1846. En la actualidad los niños se disfrazan para la ocasión y pasean por las calles pidiendo dulces de puerta en puerta. Después de llamar a la puerta los niños pronuncian la frase "truco o trato" o "dulce o truco" (proveniente de la expresión inglesa trick or treat). Si los adultos les dan caramelos, dinero o cualquier otro tipo de recompensa, se interpreta que han acepta-do el trato. Si por el contrario se niegan, los chicos les gastarán una pequeña broma, siendo la más común arrojar huevos o espuma de afeitar contra la puerta.

El origen de la calabaza Realmente el origen de las calabazas fueron los nabos, que se vaciaban para introducir una brasa en su interior, e iluminar el camino a los espíritus que venían a la tierra esa noche y así encontraran el camino a casa de sus familiares y vecinos. Se dice que la noche de Halloween, la puerta que separaba el mundo de los vivos del Más Allá se abría y los espíritus de los difuntos hacían una procesión en los pueblos en los que vivían. Leyendas En esa noche los espíritus visitaban las casas de sus familiares, y para que los espíritus no les perturbasen los aldeanos debían poner una vela en la ventana de su casa por cada difunto que hubiese en la familia. Si había una vela en recuerdo de cada difunto los espíritus no molestaban a sus familiares, si no era así los espíritus les perturbaban por la noche y les hacían caer entre terribles pesadillas. Dulce O Truco Originalmente el Truco o Trato (en inglés "Trick-or-treating") era una leyenda popular de origen céltico según la cual no solo los espíritus de los difuntos eran libres de vagar por la Tierra la noche de Halloween, si no toda clase de entes procedentes de todos los reinos espirituales. Entre ellos había uno terriblemente malévolo que deambulaba por pueblos y aldeas, yendo de casa en casa pidiendo precisamente "truco o trato". La leyenda asegura que lo mejor era hacer trato, sin importar el costo que éste tuviera, pues de no pactar con este él usaría sus poderes para hacer "truco", que consistiría en maldecir la casa y a sus habitantes, dándoles toda clase de infortunios y maldiciones como enfermar a la familia, matar al ganado con pestes o hasta quemar la propia vivienda. Como protección surgió la idea de crear formas horrendas en las calabazas, para así evitar encontrarse con dicho espectro. El demonio lo condenó a deambular por los caminos con un nabo hueco que tenía un carbón ardiendo dentro como única luz que guiara su eterno vagar entre los reinos del bien y del mal. Esta es la razón de usar nabos y más tarde calabazas, al ser más grandes y fáciles de tallar. A estas calaba-zas ahora se les llama con el nombre que recibía dicho espíritu: Jack O'Lantern (Jack of the Lantern o Jack el de la Linterna).

El pasado 31 de Octubre, día de Halloween, los alumnos del colegio de Castillejo salieron disfraza-dos con sus mejores galas por las calles del pueblo. Un grupo de zombies y momias "sembraron el pánico" mientras pedían chuches y caramelos a sus vecinos. Finalmente degus-taron su valioso y apetito-so manjar en el restauran-te de uno de los zombies implicados. El temible grupo amenaza con volver el año que vie-ne...

Este año hemos celebrado halloween en el
cole, haciéndonos un disfraz de brujos y
brujas, a que damos miedo, y nos fuimos a
casa con un montón de chuches terroríficas, pero
que estaban asquerosamente ricas.

Socorro es natural de Olmeda
del rey aunque lleva ya muchos años
viviendo en El Peral y se siente una
peraleña más. Lleva 27 años impar-
tiendo docencia, aquí esta dando la
asignatura de religión y va por las 6
secciones del CRA. Si quieres cono-
cerla mejor, esta es la entrevista que
le hicieron los alumnos de 3º 4º de
Primaria de El Peral.
1.- ¿De dónde eres?
De un pueblo pequeño y muy bonito que
se llama Olmeda del Rey. Aunque tam-
bién me siento un poco del Peral, porque
llevo muchos años ya aquí.
¿Estas casada? Si ¿tienes hijos? Si,
dos hijas y un hijo y un nieto precioso.
2.- ¿Por qué te viniste a trabajar a
El Peral?
Porque me casé con un peraleño, Angel
3.- ¿Cuántos años llevas de maestra?
Llevo trabajando de maestra 27 años
-. ¿Te gusta la religión? Si mucho,
tengo Magisterio por la Iglesia.
4.- ¿En cuántos colegios has traba-
jado?

12.-¿Te regañaban mucho los maestros?
No, yo me portaba muy bien y atend-
ía mucho en clase. A los 9 años me marche de
mi pueblo a estudiar a las monjas a Utiel, allí
también estudié Magisterio, y de allí fui a la
Universidad de Valencia para examinarme y así
poder trabajar de maestra en los colegios
públicos.

como bibliotecaria en la biblioteca de aquí del

No, estuve 4 años en Madrid como tutora de
Primaria, dando todas las asignaturas, hasta
Educación Física. Después estuve 12 años en
Barcelona como tutora de Primaria, y por últi-
mo hasta que me vine de profesora de Religión
a este C.R.A

Orfeo era el músico más dotado de los que han existido. Era hijo de
Calíope, una de las Nueve Musas hijas de Zeus y del dios Apolo.
Cuando cantaba y tocaba la lira que le había regalado su padre, el
dios Apolo, los pájaros interrumpían el vuelo para escucharle.
Orfeo se casó con una mujer muy bella llamada Eurídice. Los dos viv-
ían felices y muy enamorados, hasta que un fatídico día Eurídice,
mientras paseaba por un prado cercano a su casa, fue mordida por una serpiente y mu-
rió a causa del veneno de su mordedura.
Cuando Orfeo lo supo, la desesperación y la tristeza invadieron su espíritu. De
este modo, tomó su lira y descendió al Reino de los Muertos para interceder por su
amada ante Hades, señor de los muertos. Para ello, debía cruzar la temible laguna
Estigia, lugar donde se encontraba la entrada al Reino de los Muertos. El son lastimero
y melancólico de sus cantos y de su lira convenció al barquero, Caronte, para que le
llevara al otro lado de la laguna. También el arrullo de su lira hizo que el terrible
perro de tres cabezas, guardián de la entrada, se durmiera y que el acariciante son
aliviara el tormento de los muertos.
Finalmente, Orfeo llegó ante el trono del mismo Hades. El señor de los muertos
estaba enojado por el hecho de que un mortal entrara en sus dominios, pero la tristeza
de sus cantos le conmovió hasta derramar lágrimas de acero.
Así que Hades le concedió su deseo, Eurídice podría seguir a Orfeo en su ascen-
sión al reino de los vivos, aunque con una condición: no podía mirar hacia atrás para ver
a su amada hasta que ella hubiese caminado otra vez bajo el sol. De este modo, Orfeo emprendió el regreso por el empinado camino que sale del oscuro reino de la
muerte, tocando canciones de alegría y regocijo mientras caminaba, guiando el espíritu de Eurídice de
regreso a la vida. Ni una sola vez miró hacia atrás, hasta que llegó a la luz del sol.
Entonces, lleno de amor y para asegurarse de que ella le seguía, se volvió. Por un instante, la vio
cerca de la entrada del oscuro túnel, casi viva otra vez, pero Eurídice aún no había caminado bajo el
sol. Mientras la miraba, ella se convirtió nuevamente en un etéreo fantasma, y su grito final de amor y
dolor fue tan solo un suspiro en la brisa que salía de los Infiernos. La había perdido para siempre.

Halloween is the one of the oldest holidays still celebrated today. It's one of the most popular holi-days, second only to Christmas. While millions of people celebrate Halloween without knowing it's origins and myths, the history and facts of Halloween make the holiday more fascinating. Some people view Halloween as a time for fun, putting on costumes, trick-or-treating, and having theme parties. Others view it as a time of superstitions, ghosts, goblins and evil spirits that should be avoided at all costs.
As the Christian debate goes on, celebrating Halloween is a preference that is not always viewed as participating in an evil holiday. Halloween is often celebrated with no reference to pagan rituals or the occult.
The History Halloween Halloween is on October 31st, the last day of the Celtic calendar. It was originally a pagan holiday, honoring the dead. Halloween was referred to as All Hallows Eve and dates back to over 2000 years ago. All Hallows Eve is the evening before All Saints Day, which was created by Christians to convert pagans, and is celebrated on November 1st. The Catholic church honored saints on this designated day.
The Origin of Halloween While there are many versions of the origins and old customs of Halloween, some remain consistent by all ac-counts. Different cultures view Holloween somewhat differently but traditional Halloween practices remain the same. Halloween culture can be traced back to the Druids, a Celtic culture in Ireland, Britain and Northern Europe. Roots lay in the feast of Samhain, which was annually on October 31st to honor the dead. Samhain signifies "summers end" or November. Samhain was a harvest festival with huge sacred bonfires, mark-ing the end of the Celtic year and beginning of a new one. Many of the practices involved in this celebration were fed on superstition. The Celts believed the souls of the dead roamed the streets and villages at night. Since not all spirits were thought to be friendly, gifts and treats were left out to pacify the evil and ensure next years crops would be plenti-ful. This custom evolved into trick-or-treating.

In America there was a mass murder. Policemen went to investigate. Trying not to tread on the bodies, the police took pictures of each one. One policemen saw something on the opposite wall but he couldn't read it. He walks over to it and sees the numbers "7734" in calculator form, writ-ten in blood. When taking pictures of this he turned his camera upside-down and told an ap-proaching police officer. When he pointed with the hand that the camera was in, he accidentally took a picture of the upside-down numbers. The policeman was about to delete the picture when he realized something. The numbers were now a word. The word was "hELL." Submitted by Olivia
I come from Canberra, the capital of Australia. Just out of Canberra, on the way to Sydney, there's a huge lake, called "Lake George." These days, as Canberra and it's surrounding area is faced with one of it's worst droughts in years, you would never guess that not that long ago it was filled with water, at times overflowing onto the road. Many people spent fun summers fishing and swimming there, but not everyone had such happy times. Many peo-ple lost their lives there, and there are stories about ghostly sightings that go around Canberra. One of the best-known is that if you drive past the Lake George at night by yourself and look in the rear-vision mirror, you'll see someone sitting in the back seat of your car. There is an urban legend in my town of Kokomo, Indiana. We have many urban legends in fact, but there's one in particular. The story is set on Old Sycamore Road which an old road in the farmland, and open field area of my town. There's a small bridge off Old Sycamore Road that takes you onto another road, and it takes you to the next town. The story goes a man, or a boy fell off the bridge, and died once hitting their head on the rocks underneath the bridge, and if you were to drive on Old Sycamore Road at night, and you were to cross that bridge, then the "ghost" of the man, or boy appear next to your car once you pass the exact spot they had fallen from until you exit the bridge. My friends and I have tested this urban legend many times, and we have yet to see anything. We don't even know if anyone really died there, but true or false, it's an interesting, and eerie story, and visual. Submitted by Jon There's a bridge called "Covert's Crossing" or "Covert's Bridge" up in New Castle. A young couple had gotten married on Halloween. Around midnight, they were riding in a horse drawn carriage across the bridge at the same time a car was. The bridge was only one lane, so by the time they saw each other it was too late. Story has it that they crashed and the hubcap of the car flew off, decapitating the bride. The police never found her head or the body of the groom. Its been said that if you sit on the bridge on Halloween night around midnight, you can see the headless bride standing on some rocks in the river. However they don't know if she is looking for her head or her lost love. Submitted by Courtnie The legend is that if you sit in three of the graveyard chairs from midnight until one minute after midnight, you will have the ability to see ghosts -- but you will pay with your life. This, however did not apply to three high-school football players on Halloween Night in 1976. They pulled into the graveyard, in the middle of a large, open area. They had heard the legend and decided to try it, but one of them refused to try it. The friend sat down and watched the other boys run from one chair to the other. Then he sensed that something was wrong. They were leaning over to the side with their eyes rolled back, rasping. The boy began frantically screaming for help as his friends kneeled over and grabbed his leg. It is said that the boy also saw spirits for an instant. The boys died and the survivor never spoke a word. Of course, there were people mourning their loved ones nearby. They witnessed the event and filed a police report detailing what happened. No one really knows what those chairs are, except that they have been there since the town was founded. Submitted by Kyle In Fairmont, West Virginia, there is a small house and rumor has it that the house is haunted. My mom told me a story about when she was a young girl, the house was occupied by a family who no one really knew anything about. Everyone in the neighborhood was afraid of them. My mom went to school with the youngest girl in the family, who looked tired all the time and never spoke a word. Her dad was even more scarier and looked as if he was always mad. The girl seemed afraid of him. Nobody thought this was unusual because everyone was afraid of him, until one night. The police were at the house, but the neighbors didn't know why they were there. The next day, my mom and her classmates found out what had happened. The father came home that night drunk and beat his wife and children to death. Then he went into his truck, set it on fire and shot himself in the head. Now they say, if you go anywhere near the house you can hear the painful screams of the family being brutally murdered by the father. Submitted by Heather There was this couple in Scotland who had just moved into an old castle. When they moved in, they decided to empty out the wine cellar and found this large barrel of brandy. They tried moving it and even got a few friends around to help, but they couldn't budge it. In the end, they decided to have a housewarming party and give glasses of brandy out to empty the barrel and make it easier to move. A few days after the party, they went into the cellar and tried to move the barrel again. It still wouldn't move. The husband went to get his saw in order to cut it into smaller pieces and in turns they cut off the top of the barrel. Inside was a dead body and they had drank the brandy that had preserved it. Submitted by Angel Cutsforth On an isolated road, around midnight, in upstate NY, a man and his girlfriend are driving. Suddenly a car ap-proaches them from behind. "Pull over!" he says. The man shrugs and turns in a dirt road. He gets out and talks to the man. "What is it, babe?" the girlfriend asks, but she gets no answer. She shrugged and continued to browse through the different radio stations. Then she heard a crash "Babe?" she said hesitantly. She ran out of the car and saw her boyfriend's head bouncing back and forth on the radio antennae. The back lights were smashed in. Screaming, she goes to get her cell phone out of the car. As soon as she opens the car door she hears, "No use. . . No one will answer you." Submitted by Brittany It was just a regular library, but when night strikes, it becomes alive and extremely spooky. Three girls came for research and stayed overtime. When midnight approached, the girls had no intention of researching anymore because they soon found out that there was no way out. The books started screaming loudly and the girls were petrified. When they turned around, the third girl was hung to a tree and we saw the blood streaming down her head! It was too scary to watch. We soon split up to find an exit, but when I turned to show my friend that the book was alive, I saw her dead with a stabbed back! I was the only survivor and it was only a matter of time before they would kill me. I quickly turned around and I saw, aaaaaahhhhhhhhh! Submitted by Tarah and Alexia

It is said that in Mexico there is a ghost of a woman who drowned her kids. They call her the "Cry Baby" because she cries a lot. She is a wandering spirit, looking for her kids. If you misbehave with your parents she will visit you. She will come out if you are near a pile of water and scream "oh, my children!" It is not safe to look in her face! If you do, death will follow. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD BE NICE TO YOUR PARENTS! The part about the woman drowning her kids is real. I think that the other part about her coming out of the water is true. If you encounter her, I would recommend putting on some ear plugs and running away from her. Submitted by Freddie Martinez On Halloween in 2003, my family and I went into the city because my mom had bought a car and she needed to make a car payment to the dealer. We decided to take my little sister and her friend trick or treating out there. My mom made her payment and my sister and her friend were trick or treating. It was getting late so we decided that was enough. We had along drive back home. We ate at a fast food burger joint and began the long
drive home. When we were on the freeway, a car was driving right next to us and the driver was wearing a mask, staring right at us. Everybody started to get scared. He was keeping up with us and had his head turned sideways staring for about 10 minutes. Then he looked ahead and drove past us. Submitted by Maurice Two 18 wheeler trucks were on a highway. The two trucks smashed into each other and all the people died. They took the trucks to the junkyard. A day later, it started to smell. It got worse every day. Finally they took apart the fused trucks and found a VW beetle with the passengers still in there, dead. Submitted by Jessica On a warm summer night, a couple of friends of mine and I stayed up until about 3:00 a.m. talking about scary stuff that has happened to us. One began telling us about a weird encounter he had with a ghost or something supernatu-ral. He said he was driving back home (from Abilene, Texas to Laredo, Texas) when he saw a hitchhiker on the road. As he passed the woman, he looked back in the rearview mirror to catch a last glance, when, to his surprise the woman appeared to be sitting in his back seat. He must of been really tired of driving or something but he just shook it off and continued on his way. Submitted by Edmond One day I was outside with my best friend at about 11:30pm when all the sudden we see a van drive right next to us. He stops and looks like he's tweekin or something. We get all freaked out and start walking back to my house. He pulls up to my driveway, so we start running. He starts to get out of the van and we noticed that he had an ice pick in his left hand. So we start screaming and luckily my dad was still up working late in his garage, so he opens the ga-rage and tackles the weirdo! He holds him there until the police show up. The cops tell us that we where lucky be-cause we were the only ones to make it out of the six people he's tried the same thing on. We don't stay out that late anymore. Submitted by Coco Puff One Halloween night, a 16 year old girl named May and her friends, Irene, Kate, and Leslie, were out driving to a Halloween party outside of town. So, of course, they took the freeway. The car was slowing down, like it was running out of gas, but the meter said it was full. May and Leslie went to check out the engine. When they opened the hood, there was a hand. A lone bare, hand. They were so frightened they couldn't scream. Leslie reached out to touch it then IT MOVED! This time they both screamed and Irene and Kate ran out the car screaming. They said there was a man with his flesh torn and a missing hand in the back seat. The girls ran and the car was chasing them slowly. May called the her parents, Irene called 911, on their cellular phones as they ran. But when the cops and May's parents came, all four girls were soaking in blood. Not their own blood. The cops found a black gemstone, unidentified, in the driver's seat -- covered with blood. The girls went ahead to the party. The address was just a vacant lot but in that vacant lot were many bloody, black, unidentified gemstones. Submitted by Aliz One night, these kids were coming home from a party and there was a cemetery about one block away from home. One kid was telling the others about a local legend. If you go and stand on the grave for ten seconds and stab a knife into it, that a hand will grab you and pull you into the grave with the corpse. One girl was brave enough to do it for $20.00. She got a knife, walked to a grave, stood on it, and stabbed the knife into it. Suddenly, her leg felt heavy and she tried to pick it up -- but something was grabbing HER! She was yelling and crying for help, but her friends thought she was kidding, so they just left. The next day, they found out that she had died, of fright. She thought that somebody was grabbing her, but the knife she was using had pierced her pants and held her there. Submitted by Scary Freak There is a factory behind a middle school in Dallas, Texas. One day, four girls were walking home from the movie theatre that used to be there before the school. When they were in the middle of the field, two girls said they needed to use the restroom. They didn't want to go back to the theatre so they decided to climb over the fence and use the restroom at the factory. The two girls went while the other two stayed to help them over the fence. twenty minutes, the two remaining girls heard deadly screams from their friends. They ran and their friends were never seen again. Today, the factory still remains and it is said if you cross the fence border, you too will never be seen again. Submitted by Laura Here's one I heard on the radio from a woman who told her story about seeing a ghost, which is scary: A few years ago, the woman and her family had just moved to a new house somewhere in Melbourne, Victoria, Austra-lia. One night, her baby son was crying so she got out of bed and went to see him. Suddenly, the baby stopped crying. The woman knew that he must have fallen asleep so she went back to bed. A few hours later, the baby cried again, so she got up and went over to check again. As she opened the door to her son's room, she saw a boy, about 6 or 7 years old, calming the baby down. When he saw the woman, he disappeared. The woman was shocked and later told her neighbours what happened. The neighbours already knew about the ghost and told her that there was a boy who died from an illness, about 80 years ago, and was buried under the exact place where her baby son's room is. Halloween Customs and Traditions Ever wonder how Halloween began and who started the eccentric practices which evolved into our celebrations today? Let's explore local and global customs and traditions that make Halloween what it is today -- and why it's so much fun.
Bonfires
In northern Ireland, it was customary for Druids to perform ritualistic ceremonies and make sacrifices to pacify their gods. The Celts would bring wood and start their Samhain bonfire
or, fire festival, on the hilltop. Often, they would throw the bones of slaughtered cattle into the flames. The word "bonfire" is said to be derived from such "bone fires." Bonfires and sacrifices guaranteed that the sun would burn brightly after a long, dreary winter. It's common to witness hundreds of traditional bonfires in Ireland every year on Halloween Night.
Costumes
Halloween costumes originated from the Celts when they lit huge bonfires and celebrated Samhain by dressing up in elaborate animal skins and heads to disguise themselves as spirits and demons so that the real ones couldn't distinguish them as being human. Their ceremonies consisted of dancing, telling stories, and reading fortunes.
Jack-O-Lanterns
The traditions of carving jack-o-lanterns originates with the Celts. A miserable man named Jack, tricked the devil. Unable to enter heaven or hell after his death, he was destined to roam the earth listlessly. Jack placed a piece of coal into a carved-out turnip and used it as a lantern to keep the evil spirits away. Today, pumpkins (which are easier to cut) are carved into jack-o-lanterns, lit and placed outside of doorways for the same purpose. Trick or Treating The custom of trick or treating evolved in Ireland, centuries ago. In preparation for All Hollow's Eve, the the poor would call upon the rich folks and request money, gifts and food. The food was gathered for a huge feast and celebration.
UNICEF
A popular tradition in America, trick or treating for UNICEF began in 1950, when Philadelphia youngsters decorated milk cartons and collected money to help less fortunate children. UNICEF increases public awareness and raises funds to pro-vide health care, nutrition, immunizations and clean water, around the world.

Dentro de los profesionales que trabajamos en el C.R.A. esta el Equipo de Orientación que
esta formado por Silvia (orientadora), Vanesa (Pedagogía Terapéutica) y Maite (Pedagogía Terap-
éutica y Audición y Lenguaje) y su trabajo consiste en asesorar, ayudar y orientar en el proceso
de enseñanza-aprendizaje tanto a padres y madres como a maestros y alumnos.
En esta edición del periódico el equipo de orientación ha facilitado una serie de pautas para
que los padres y maestros consigamos el adecuado desarrollo del lenguaje en los alumnos de Educa-
ción Infantil. Esperamos os sea de utilidad.

ALIMENTACIÓN: No usar biberón. La alimentación debe ser sólida. La mas-
ticación ayuda a la articulación.
NO LLEVAR CHUPETE: Su abuso causa deformación de la cavidad
oral y de la posición dentaria y reduce los momentos de expresión del ni-
ño.
HIGIENE RESPIRATORIA: Enseñar a sonarse los mocos. La respira-
ción debe ser nasal.
Existen diferentes ritmos de desarrollo, es importante respetarlos.
Nivel de exigencia adecuado al nivel de desarrollo lingüístico: no hablar por ellos
y no interpretar en exceso sus deseos y necesidades en base a gestos o señaliza-
ciones.
Son normales procesos de simplificación del habla (sustituir fonemas, reducir
las palabras...). Unos niños los superan antes y otros más tarde.
En el desarrollo del habla puede haber momentos de bloqueo…
Es importante:
Dar tiempo a que responda, no interrumpirle
No terminar las frases por él
No demostrarle nuestra ansiedad y evitar situaciones de
tensión en casa.
No hacerle repetir
Evitar burlas o riñas por su forma de hablar.

- Acostumbrarle a usar un tono de voz normal, el nuestro será el
modelo. Procurar no gritar.
- En casos de otitis de repetición comunicarlo al
centro. El nivel de audición baja por lo que es nece-
sario llevar a cabo determinadas estrategias en el
aula.
OFRECER UN MODELO ADECUADO. COMO:
- Ampliar y reorganizar su lenguaje: “¡Mía e coche!”, ”Sí, es el
coche de papá”
- Corregir de modo indirecto: “Pome e papato”. “Sí, ya te
pongo el zapato”
- Hablarles mucho, con tono y ritmo adecuado y hacer que se
sientan escuchados
- No usar un lenguaje muy simple ni con demasiados diminuti-
vos: “¿Quieres el tete?”
- Adaptar el nivel del lenguaje al proceso
de desarrollo de cada niño
- Fomentar el juego simbólico
- Favorecer que se exprese con otras personas y en
otros lugares (en la tienda, en el autobús, por
teléfono)

ACTIVIDADES DE LENGUAJE Y HABLA
- Compartir juegos: memorys, juegos de mesa,
dominós, construcciones, etc., contando siempre
lo que estamos haciendo.
- Ver libros de imágenes o de fotos nombrando
lo que se ve, lo que se hace
- Contar cuentos y repetirlos una y otra vez para que poco a
poco ellos solos lo vayan contando.
- Aprender cancioncillas, adivinanzas, rimas
- Jugar con el lenguaje: acertar adivinanzas, seguir
instrucciones
- Jugar con ellos a soplar (pompas, globos), a escuchar
y distinguir sonidos, hacer muecas
- Expresar lo que estamos haciendo.
- Describir de forma sencilla las acciones que realiza el niño:
“¡Bebes agua! ¡Qué rica!”
- Anticiparle lo que se va a realizar a continuación: “Ahora vamos
a comprar…”
- Darle instrucciones sencillas: “Recoge el abrigo, ponte el pijama
y lávate los dientes”
- Aprovechar los momentos del baño y de la comida para hablar
sobre lo que se ha hecho durante el día o lo que se
va a hacer al día siguiente.
- Cuando pida algo con el dedo o con gestos, provo-
car que lo exprese de forma oral, dando opciones
o formulando preguntas: “¿Qué quieres?”

Los alumnos del C.R.A. están participando en diferentes
concursos sobre pintura y escritura. Aquí os presentamos algunos de
sus trabajos.
Esperamos haya suerte y alguno se lleve algún premio como el que
se ha llevado ya Cesar que quedó finalista en el premio sobre
escritura organizado por la Junta de Comunidades de Castilla – L a
Mancha.
