It offers free webpage for your dogs*. find cool new doggie friends from around the world, by breed, name, country, and more! You can even start your very own doggie-mail. Got a dog? Register now. Have no dogs? Browse and pat thousands of dogs and read blogs and forums in our homepage.

Week6: 6 pluses and 6 minuses

6 pluses:1.It provides interaction with the

users as they search through the web..

(view the top1000 dogs, most popular, and the most commented)

2. You can easily create your own account (and update your profile)..

So people can identify you or search for you via e-mail/country/name.

3. It’s all about making your dog a website!*photos, blogs (experiences), videos, make buddies

*profile (personality/status, achievements, & abilities)

4. Other features: You can pat dogs, see who’s online, greet birthday dogs..

5. Ads by Google so you can easily link and connect to other sites about dog’s life, advices/services by vet., available dogs for shipping and neutering.

6. You can send doggie-mails and send link your dog’s webpage ..*new feature: widget you can put in your own website/blogs to attract friends and get more pats and comments. Your dogs will love it!

6 minuses:

1. There has been a small problem about missing breeds (not showing up in search), but your dogs’ supposed to be the last breed in the right list if he/she is the last one to logout*.

2. There has been also a problem about changing your settings/profile. After several trials, your changes still doesn’t appear, so the bugs have been removed from the system by uniteddogs.com =)

3. Some dogs are registered in Kennel Club Org, but (code) its for limited countries only. Some owners just want 100% right from their dogs, but still-every dog is a great dog! Even not registered (there’s no difference).

4. You can only upload up to 50 photos for free, and 300kB maximum for your profile picture.

You still can’t attach your dog’s picture to “my diary”, this feature will be possible soon.

5. Videos to be uploaded will only be from Google or Youtube server only.

6. You can’t delete your dog’s profile, but who wants to? Even if they’re in heaven already, you can still show the world the dog you once had by putting the “over the rainbow” sign beside their name or change the format/settings by clicking the hidden button (if you really don’t want your dog’s memories to be viewed by others).
