No Classes April 1. A Blessed Easter to everyone in the Confirmation Program!
Last Class: Sunday, April 8. All Grade Ten students will be interviewed during the months of April and May.
Legacy Fund for Saint Agnes Parish in honor of Father Flatley Our pastor, Father Brian Flatley, is leaving Saint Agnes Parish at the end of May. Father Flatley has been a “Good Shepherd”, providing pastoral leadership and spiritual guidance to help this faith community praise God and serve our neighbor lovingly. The excellent condition of our Church, Rectory, Parish Center, Schools and Fidelity House testify to his concern about the property. We have established a Legacy Fund to honor Father Flatley. Proceeds from our Grand Annual Collection, intended to cover capital projects, have been used to cover operating expenses. The Flatley Legacy Fund would set aside monies for capital projects. We ask that each of you consider a generous donation towards this fund. Envelopes were mailed to parishioners; additional envelopes are available in the Church.
Legacy donations may be returned at any time. You may spread your gift in smaller payments over time. Please mark your envelope as a donation to the Flatley Legacy Fund. Gifts may also be made at www.saintagnes.net.

The Learning Center, K1 and K2 hosted a beautiful School Mass to celebrate the feast of Saint Joseph!
Our school Chaplain, Father Graham, spoke to the student body about Saint Joseph and reminded the children that Saint Joseph was a great model of our Virtue of the Month,
temperance! Each month Saint Agnes School, as part of our faith formation, examines a different virtue. Students who are witnessed exemplifying this virtue are congratulated at Morning Prayer.
Open House on Tuesday April 10, 6:00-8:00 P.M. This Open House will coincide with our Academic and Art Fair Night as well as our Book Fair. Please stop by and see our School in action. Saint Agnes School is accepting applications for the 2018-2019 School year. Saint Agnes School and Arlington Catholic is now one school, offering a K1 through grade 12 curriculum. For example, the Saint Agnes School seventh and eighth grade students are allowed to participate on the Arlington Catholic sports teams as well as in the drama productions. Middle Schoolers enjoy lunch at the AC cafeteria and for the Fall of 2018 will be on the same rotation schedule as A.C in order to allow for interdisciplinary academic opportunities. Saint Agnes School also offers, starting in K1 and extending to grade eight, specialist classes in: Spanish, library, art, music, physical education, computers, engineering and robotics. Latin is offered as a language choice starting in sixth grade. Additionally Saint Agnes has a full time Special Education department that services I.E.P. and 504 plans, as well as a fulltime nurse and guidance department. Meet Father DeVeer−A steadfast ministry built on respect for allFather Richard “Dick” DeVeer grew up in loving family that instilled the foundational values of his ministry: respect and joy.
For more than ve decades, Father DeVeer embraced the priest’s role to carry Christ into people’s hearts. He galvanized teens to march with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Boston. As a re chaplain, he answered the call to serve at Ground Zero after 9/11. Recognizing the needs of the most vulnerable in Haiti, he and his parishioners created the St. Boniface Haiti Foundation to provide critical healthcare to the “poorest of the poor.”
Today, Father DeVeer is very active and remains close to the families from his previous parishes. These pivotal moments and lasting friendships demonstrate how priests like Father DeVeer stand by us when we need them most.
To help ensure that they receive necessary care and support as they live out their vocation, please give to the Clergy Health and Retirement Trust through the special Easter collection.
