What IS Eduspaces?

• Blogging tool for our class wiki

• Blog = “web log”

• On-line space to write; opinions, journal, commentaries, stories, pictures, photos

• Gives you your own voice on our class blog

Eduspaces:• Social networking site dedicated to educators• By-and-large an academic community• Full suite of tools for educators; blog,

bookmark, forum• Profs have students create blogs for their

courses

companies• Open network primarily populated by

students• Blog feature (Facebook Notes) not favored by

How To Create an Account

•Open your internet browser

•Type in http://eduspaces.net

•Click “Join EduSpaces!,” the purple button

•Fill in the fields with your name and e-mail

•Click “Register”

• Check for a verification e-mail in your inbox

• Follow the instructions

•From the URL, enter:•Username•Password•Password Verification

•Make sure to remember these for future sessions

•Click “join”
