Chartered Engineer Courses (Partial)

The degrees in this listing have been accredited against standards set by the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation Engineers, the Institute of Highway Engineers, the Permanent Way Institution and endorsed by the Engineering Council. Graduates from these programmes will:

1. Fully satisfy the educational base for an Incorporated Engineer (IEng).

2. Partially satisfy the educational base for a Chartered Engineer (CEng). (A programme of accredited Fur ther Learning (i.e. MSc) will be required to complete the educational base for CEng).

3. For further information and details of Further Learning programmes for CEng. Please refer to other documentation available on the JBM website www.jbm.org.uk

Courses marked with an asterisk (*) will need to be topped up with a period of Further Learning after graduation, in order to meet the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer status. This further learning can be achieved in a combination of ways – full or part-time in Higher Education, distance learning or work-based learning. The intake years from which graduates will be required to complete Further Learning is shown in the table.
