Basic Concepts of Economic Censuses

economy, and it is done through large annual
scans.
Implementation phases of the Economic censuses

recommends conducting economic censuses
at regular intervals every five years to serve
as the basis of comparable economic
statistics.
Implementation phases of the Economic censuses• The implementation of the economic census
includes a number of successive stages whichbegins by
(1) Identifying the area of economic andcensus coverage.
Followed by(2) A specific methodology to collect the
required data.Ending by
(3) Publishing of census results.

The methodology for conducting economiccensus is done through several basic stages:
a) Unit count
b) Design of census forms
c) Data collection
Implementation phases of the Economic censuses(3) Publishing results
