The recent launch of the Hydronic S3 Economy represents the start of a new era in vehicle pre-

heaters. In addition to developing the Eberspächer CAN bus-compatible heater, we have set ourselves

the goal of ensuring that all the elements of the system can be connected together easily. In future,

all the system components will be able to communicate with one another.

EasyScan plays a central role in the new system. This completely new diagnostic and service tool

will prepare your workshop business for the decades to come. It is your future-proof solution for the

tasks that lie ahead. The proprietary Eberspächer standard is no longer used. Instead, the new tool is

compatible with widely used standards in the automotive industry.

EASYSCAN – THE NEW DIAGNOSTIC AND SERVICE TOOL FOR PRE-HEATER SYSTEMS:

EasyScan is the diagnostic and service tool for the decades to come – it is the workshop’s future-

proof solution for challenges in the long term. The proprietary Eberspächer standard is no longer

used. Instead, the new tool is compatible with widely used standards in the automotive industry. The

diagnostic unit can be connected to the vehicle’s ObD port, if permitted by the vehicle manufacturer.

The new tool is a direct replacement for our current EDiTH diagnostic system, and is therefore also

backward compatible. Usually air and water heaters from as early as 2007 and 2009, respectively,

can be diagnosed.

Any faulty functions will be displayed directly, in the same way as an unsuccessful self-test.

error occurred. In addition to displaying error codes in accordance with current vehicle standards, the tool saves current data, such as the

frequency, operating hour and operating status, to allow the conditions that accompanied the occurrence of the error to be identified.

form. Individual profiles with allocations and colours can also be saved. After the measurements have been selected, they are displayed in a

graph. The Y-axis is automatically adjusted to a suitable height. You can modify the x-axis (time) to enlarge the display of the measurements.
