Exhibitors and visitors from all over the world come together in Essen to exchange news and views on the latest market de-velopments. A total of 73 nations were represented at E-world 2019. The international significance of the trade fair is cons-tantly increasing. By now, every fifth exhibitor comes from a foreign country to present his products, technologies and services. One reason for this development is the growing inter-national media coverage. Newly founded companies set new impulses with innovative business models in many areas of the energy industry. The topic area Innovation provides a platform for young companies to present their pioneering ideas and solutions. Company founders and start-ups have the opportunity to establish valuable contacts to investors and representatives of the energy industry.

The topic area Innovation combines the joint booth for young and innovative companies and exhibitors from science and research. It is supplemented by a varied program including an open expert forum, workshops and the “Business Speed Dating”.


CAREER FORUMFIND YOUR EMPLOYEES OF TOMORROW

Students, graduates and young professionals have been using the Career Forum to find out about jobs and career opportunities in the energy industry for 15 years. It traditionally takes place on the third day of the trade fair and establishes a direct dialo-gue between companies and potential employees.

During personal discussions, all questions concer-ning job applications, starting work and career op-portunities can be answered. Companies also have the opportunity to present themselves and their know-how during lectures and panel discussions at the corresponding forum.

Within the framework of E-world, visitors and exhibi-tors can look forward to a three-day expert congress, which includes conferences, seminars and workshops dealing with the latest energy issues. Renowned experts from politics, economy and science present and discuss challenges of the energy industry of tomorrow, latest developments in the fields of sales, trading and current legal issues.

The congress is therefore seen as providing an impe-tus and a discussion platform for the entire energy industry, involving international and European topics and speakers. The intensification of collaboration with scientific research institutions, and reports from practical applications also point this way.
