This is a ventilation system installed on the Drybox ceiling to extract gas and solvent.

The computer board controls air suction system, compressor air flow sensors, work programmes and cycles, user interface keyboard and all safety devices.Electrical panel, keyboard and user display are located on the external front wall of the Drybox. Operator selects the automatic daily work pro-gramme from the keyboard.

Drybox is ideal for those body shops that experience frequent bottlenecks at the drying furnace but avoid baking the parts removed from vehicles because of the costs and consumption involved and this leads to loss of productivity and profit.

Drybox offers unlimited productivity, drying painted parts in 15 to 20 minutes with guaranteed perfect results, just like when using an oven, with the added plus of radiation.

The door features an anti-corrosion treated steel perimeter frame with a single translucent cellular. The single module door has no rolling systems that may collect dust or dirt build-up. The pneumatic opening system is controlled by two switches (one inside and one outside the fur-nace). Pressurisation is ensured by a seal that runs along the whole door perimeter.

The “Powerlight” lamp is the fruit of Symach’s year-long research and design effort. It is a totally innovative lamp that offers superior lighting per-formance. Conventional reflectors normally used in preparation areas simply do not compare.Overall power consumption for the whole lighting installation is 43% less than conventional lighting systems.Drybox features a Powerlight lamp.

The Drybox ceiling accommodates a Solarys lamp to dry parts removed from the vehicles. Maxi-mum temperature inside the furnace is 80°C. The Drytronic lamp generates energy by means of a catalytic chemical reaction. This reaction is achieved by using a catalyser that, once activated, can break down gas molecule and separate hydro-gen from carbon. After going through the catalys-er, hydrogen reaches lamp outer surface and, by getting in contact with oxygen, triggers the cata-lytic reaction that generates radiation, i.e. emitting infrared electromagnetic waves in the 0.76 and 3.5 micron wavelength spectrum.

CovertopThe outer covering of Drybox is made from “Covertop” AB S moulded panels secured to the chassis with suitable plastic clips. It can be opened and closed allowing users to implement the electrical or pneumatic systems as needed. The Covertop panel comes in six different colours that can be combined at will.Symach focused on innovating the external design of the Drybox compared to traditional ovens, so as to offer custom-ers a customisable, functional, effective products with minimalist design lines, easy to install and replace.

The Drybox software lets user programme a drying cycle according to preset times or set the desired drying time.

This furnace is AT EX certified, which means it has been designed to operate in environments where potentially explo-sive gas mixtures can develop as solvents are released by paint products. This certification guarantees that the product and its components are designed and manufactured to operate safely in this kind of environment.

Gas delivery to Solarys is always cut off outside the oven, meaning that gas is only delivered when the system is actu-ally operating and all safety systems are active.

The gas control panel outside the furnace features redundant safety, with a first NC (normally-closed) main solenoid valve and an additional NC solenoid valve that are only activated when the furnace is operating.

The gas control panel outside the furnace accommodates a safety pressure valve to ensure the correct amount of gas is delivered at the right time.

A gas and solvent detector is installed inside the furnace to monitor the internal environment at all times and detect any traces of gas during operation.

Safety flow sw itch checks for proper fan operation.

A thermostat is installed inside the furnace to check for proper internal temperature.

Hardware and software monitoring ensures proper operation of each and every component.
