BAM is also known as the Brooklyn Academy of Music where people come to see film, dance, music, poetry and more.

BAM has 3 different buildings. The building you will be visiting is called the BAM Fisher.

When you enter the front doors you will be in the lobby of the Fisher. A lobby is an area where people wait to see the show.

You can visit the restroom on the lower lobby while you wait to enter the theater.

You can take the stairs,

or the elevator

to the restroom in the lower lobby.

When it’s time for the show, you will enter the theater where the performance will take place. In the theater you will see other parents and children waiting for the performance to begin.

When you take your seat, you can relax.When the show starts you will see the artists appear on the stage.

Artists will do some funny things like lift each other up in the air,

balance on a wheel, and

fly though the air.

When the performance ends, the artists will take a bow. The audience may clap their hands to show the artists their appreciation.
