How to Help Your Student Prepare

Each week, use the “teach back” method while you are creating the project and presentation Ask your student how they would explain certain

concepts related to their projects in their own words Have your students practice answering questions about

the concepts covered in their project Weeks 7-8, refer to the Weekly guides online at SparkMentorResources.org for activities and resources to help prepare for Discovery Night
