After 10 years with Bainbridge Technioloiges, TITAN Trailer Brakes have ventured out on there own with room to expand. TITAN Trailer Brakes is continuing to develop the well accepted RAPID HITCH and is now very proud to present the only full NATA laboratory tested and approved towing tongue or hitch that exceeds the necessary and the very safe requirements of the Australian Design Rule 62/02.This allows a potential customer to be assured that his/her towing connection is very safe and stable and will meet all the requirements and standards of most tow bars available in Australia and New Zealand. We’ve spent a lot of money in testing facilities and test pieces to have the RAPID HITCH meet or exceed the high standards required by the ADR 62/02. Any Dealer can now comfortable advise his customers that the RAPID HITCH is approved and meets all Australian standards. In fact, any government body or private citizen can request a Copy of Certification for the RAPID HITCH. “To our knowledge the RAPID HITCH is the only towing tongue of it’s type that is backed up by a certification document issued by an authorized NATA test laboratory”, says Ron Heindorff, MD of TITAN Trailer Brakes. TITAN TRAILER BRAKES NEW BRAKING SUPPORT

TITAN Trailer Brakes has released their new electro/hydraulic safer braking support that further enhances their established ADR38/02 hydraulic brake system. “Our customers have been requesting a more robust emergency break-away battery kit that would ensure long life battery support and also offer visual battery condition AND a charging circuit.

This allows the customer to easily and regularly check the condition of his break-away battery before he takes off on his trip and when he returns to quickly and easily hook up his smart battery charger and keep on eye on his battery. Easy!” said Ron Heindorff - MD of TITAN Trailer Brakes.

The TITAN BRAKESAFE is complete with a larger battery than the common electric drum brake kit, plus a complete battery condition indicator that clearly shows battery charge condition, Green for safe and flashing RED with audible buzzer for 10 seconds if the battery is low.. This new BRAKESAFE kit is unique as it is the only one that will accept smart charge technology to recharge a low battery.

The BRAKESAFE will not only apply the hydraulics brakes and the break lights of the trailer but will keep them applied for the mandatory 15 minutes.

RV Show in MelbourneWe thought it would be interesting to offer a display stand at the recent new RV Trade Show in Melbourne. As it turned out, it was interesting and we were able to introduce some specific TITAN product that is most suitable for the caravan, 5 Wheeler and trailer industry. We believe that all caravans will sooner rather than later, make the sensible shift to hydraulic ventilated disc brakes. 3 moving parts verses 14 for electric drum brakes, no fade, no warm-up delay, self adjusting, more braking efficiency etc. etc. The automotive industry changed almost 40 years ago. Why are we still using electric drum brakes on our 2008-9 model caravans? ‘cause their cheeeeeeeeep!
