PROBLEM: Using conventional energy has showed us that it originates a lot of problems particularly environmental types. Some researches tell us that our city spends millions of pesos in energy costs, because the electricity rate is increasing rapidly at about 10% every year, plus the inefficacy of the service we get from local companies. As well as the bills are paid the local government priority which is working on the general development of the city has not been successful because such a big amount of money used for paying the energy could have been used in some social projects.

GENERATIVE TOPIC: FORTITUDE ESCENARIO:

• As a computer specialist I have the responsibility to create environmental awareness among my students and design strategies based on information technologies that focus on the promotion and practice of using renewable energy.•The students and the teacher intend by creating an environmental blog or website teaches how renewable energy technologies are clean sources of energy that have a much lower environmental impact than conventional energy technologies•Through this project we will clearly show our values, principles, social responsibility and especially our identification and love for our school through the promotion of environmental actions using for that purpose the information technologies.

with text and graphics that show the advantages of using renewable energy?

STUDENTS INDIVIDUALY WILL BRAINSTORMS EVERYTHING THEY KNOW ABOUT MICROSOFT WORD AND GLOGSTERS. THEY WILL BE ASKED ABOUT THE CONCEPT, USES AND TOOLS OF THIS WORD PROCESSOR, SO THEY WILL ANSWER ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN OPINIONS AND KNLOWLEDGE

INTERMEDIATE PERFORMANCEStudents will create documents in word using applications learned through consultation and research in books or on the internet. They will develop a summary about renewable energy from a web page called “clean energy ideas”http://www.clean-energy-ideas.com/energy_definitions/definition_of_renewable_energy.html

Students will create different kinds of posters using glogster tools in order to show their ideas trough images sound and video, for that purpose they will work on th next web page: http://edu.glogster.com/Students will use the tools from the internet (web node) in order to develop a simple web page,so they will work on the next page: http://www.webnode.com.co/

FINAL PERFORMANCE• Students will create a summary about a story called “Global potential of

renewable energy sources” where every student apply all the techniques learned throughout the process of learning the proper and efficient use of Microsoft Word. Using the same information they will make a glogster poster including photos, video and text about “Global potential of renewable energy sources.

• They also will develop a simple environmental web page where they will add page title, photogallery, a main menu and they will design the logo of a page using AAA LOGO.
