Analysing Album Cover

■ This album is set up in an effective and simple way.

■ The composition of this album cover fits well with the rule of thirds. As Calvin is in the bottom right corner and his name and album name is covering most of the album.

■ The way Calvin is positioned his hands are pointing towards the text, encouraging us to read it

■ As this was shot next to a wall which is quite bland, this works as a good background, as the text is over the top of the wall.

■ The colours used in this album cover are quite subtle and neutral colours which work well together.

■ The back cover is an expanded image of the front cover with Calvin off centre with majority of the wall and list of songs etc.
