18:00 - 20:15 Sin is a choice .... Until you hate sickness and sin you will never get
out of either.
Whatever you tolerate will eventually control you. If you tolerate sin or sickness in
your life you will become bound by it. Christ came to set us complete free from all
the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8 (NLT) But when people keep on sinning, it shows
that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of
God came to destroy the works of the devil.
Meditation
1 John 2:1 (NKJV) My little children, these things I write to you, so that you maynot sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the
righteous.
1 John 1:5 (NKJV) This is the message which we have heard from Him and
declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
Introspection
1. Do I view sin as a choice that I make or something I have no control over?
2. Do I still consider myself a sinner or do I consider myself a saint (son of God)?
3. If sin is a choice and I am a son of God then why do I still struggle with sin?
23:50 - 26:00 Saved and Sanctified .... Sanctification is separation from sin unto
holiness ... Praying at the altar until the desire to sin was broken in them ... Full of
God.
Meditation
Rom. 12:1-2 (MSG) So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your
everyday, ordinary life — your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around
life — and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the
best thing you can do for him. Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you
fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed
from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond
to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level ofimmaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
James 4:7-10 (NLT) 7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he
will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your
hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and
the world. 9 Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep
grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. 10 Humble
yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.
Introspection
1. Has the desire for sin been truly broken in my life?
If not, What practical steps can I take to break the power of sin in my life?
56:50 - 58;45 God's Spirit is grieved over what the devil does in peoples lives and
you have to learn to hate it ... You can't love without hating ... You can't love
everything ... Our problem is we want to get alone with everybody. We want
everybody to like us. We just want to be new age hippies. Just love and peace ... Truth
divides and you are going to have to decide what you want.
Meditation
Proverbs 6:16 (NLT) There are six things the LORD hates — no, seven things he
detests:
Heb. 1:9 (AMP) You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity,
virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hatedlawlessness (injustice and iniquity). Therefore God, [even] Your God (Godhead), has
anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your
companions.
Luke 12:51 (NLT) Do you think I have come to bring peace to the earth? No, I
have come to divide people against each other!
Introspection
1. Do I feel uncomfortable when everyone doesn't get along?
2. Do I make every effort to keep the peace?
3. How do I view the above scriptures in light of my feelings concerning division?
0:00 - 3:40 "What I say comes to pass" ... "The bible says you shall lay hands on
the sick and they shall recover. So, bottom line - that's it. When that is more real to
you than what you are looking at. Then what you believe will be seen in front of
you." .... You must believe what the bible says more than what you see.
Meditation
Mark 11:23 (NKJV) For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,
‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believesthat those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Mark 16:18 (NKJV) they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly,
it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Acts 28:8 (NKJV) And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever
and dysentery. Paul went in to him and prayed, and he laid his hands on him and
healed him.
Introspection
1. Is what I see more real to me than what the Bible says?
If so, what steps can I take so that the truth of the Bible becomes more real than
12:13 - 16:17 The ministry of reconciliation .... Life into the body is healing ... Life
into the soul is deliverance ... life into the spirit is salvation ... Jesus gave you life and
that more abundantly ...
Meditation
2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (NKJV) Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us
to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that
is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their
trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
John 10:10 (NKJV) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and todestroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more
abundantly.
Introspection
1. What does reconcile mean to me?
2. Am I actively involved in the ministry of reconciliation?
liever ... Mark 16 is healing for the unbeliever - believer lays hands on unbeliever ...
James 5 is healing for the newly saved - anoints with oil; elders pray a prayer of
faith ... ICor. 11 is for the carnal believer - Communion ... Rom 8:11 is for the
spiritual believer - by the indwelling Holy Spirit
Meditation
Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV) And these signs will follow those who believe: In Myname they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up
serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will
lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
James 5:14-15 (NKJV) Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of
the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the
Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if
he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
ICor. 11:23-26 (NKJV) For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered
to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;
and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body
which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also
took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do,
as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this breadand drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.
Rom. 8:1-11 (NKJV) There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in
Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For
the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and
death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by
sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned
sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who
do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live
according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live
according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but
to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against
God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are
in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed
the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, heis not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life
because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead
dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal
bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Introspection
1. At what level of spirituality do I find myself?
2. How can I increase my spiritual maturity level?
37:12 - 42:37 Discipleship: they did it and the other watches. ... When you lay
hands on the sick - what is going on; what are you feeling; what are you thinking. ...
What you are believing at the moment you pray is what is going to happen. ... Two
parts: The legal is - In the name of Jesus, be healed, devil go. That is serving the
eviction papers. The vital part - is where life flows. ... It is spirit to spirit that heals. ...
The power of God follows your intension. .... Compassion builds a connection with
the other person. .... Sympathy feels sorry for - Compassion knows it isn't right
Meditation
John 7:38-39 (NLT) Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the
Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” (When he said
“living water,” he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet
entered into his glory.)
1 Corinthians 6:17 (NKJV) But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with
Him.
John 6:63 (NKJV) It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The
words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
Introspection
1. what am I believing when I pray for someone?
2. Do I have compassion or sympathy for others?
3. Am I connecting spirit to spirit with the other person?
42:40 - end The more results you see, the more faith you have especially for that. ...
Next time: You will act different because you have seen it already (the David
principle). The secret to faith is to be able to relate past victories to current situations.
... It is a devil that exploits the chink in your armor. .... The devils job is to get you to
back off so you will lose. .... The devil wants you to back off this Word. ... The devil
can do nothing except what you believe he can ... The devil has ability but no
authority ... Revelation is progressive
Meditation
2Cor. 10:3-5 (NLT) We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use
God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of
human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstaclethat keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach
them to obey Christ.
Gal. 6:9 (NKJV) And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season
we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Introspection
1. Do I relate past victories to my present situation?
2. What lies do I still believe concerning the devils authority?
0:00 - 3:20 Revelation is progressive ... It is right that you obey God even if you
have to disobey man to do it ... Read the Bible literally - don't add to nor take away
from it then do what it says ... Theology based failure - your failure does not dictate
God's will ... Excuses come from people not being able to set someone free
Meditation
Acts 5:29 (NLT) But Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather
than any human authority.
Revelation 22:18-19 (NLT) And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the
words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written
here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. And if anyone
removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s
share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.
Matthew 17:14-18 (NLT) At the foot of the mountain, a large crowd was waiting
for them. A man came and knelt before Jesus and said, “Lord, have mercy on my son.
He has seizures and suffers terribly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. So I
brought him to your disciples, but they couldn’t heal him.” Jesus said, “You faithlessand corrupt people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you?
Bring the boy here to me.” Then Jesus rebuked the demon in the boy, and it left him.
From that moment the boy was well.
Introspection
1. Do I read and obey the Bible as if it is literal?
2. Do I tend to make excuses when my prayers don't seem to work?
11:20 - 23:02 Possess the land - by making disciples by turning them from darkness
to light ... To change a city you must change people ... People would rather do things
that make them look good than do things that are effective. People would rather be
thought as an expert than to be thought of as just normal ... There is no ministry of
counseling in the Bible - the Holy Spirit is the Councilor ... What goes on in the
church is no different than what goes on in the world and that is not right. If the world
can do what you are doing, then what you are doing is not divine. We should be able
to do things the world can not do. That is what makes it a sign. Jesus never told a per-
son what they had to do to get free ... You can't fight against the devil on the devils
ground ... Stay in the Spirit by doing the Word ... For a Christian to go to the world for
help is a total waste of time and is only going to mess you up more.
Meditation
Acts 26:18 (NKJV) to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to
light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins
and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
James 1:22 (NLT) But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says.
Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
James 3:13-18 (NLT) If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by
living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from
wisdom. But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your heart,
don’t cover up the truth with boasting and lying. For jealousy and selfishness are not
God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, and demonic. For
wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evilof every kind. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving,
gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It
shows no favoritism and is always sincere. And those who are peacemakers will plant
seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.
Matthew 16:23 (NLT) Jesus turned to Peter and said, “Get away from me, Satan!
You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of
view, not from God’s.”
1 Corinthians 2:14 (NLT) But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these
truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for
only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.
John 15:18-21 (AMP) If the world hates you, know that it hated Me before it
hated you. If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and
would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world [no longer one with
it], but I have chosen (selected) you out of the world, the world hates (detests)
you. Remember that I told you, A servant is not greater than his master [is notsuperior to him]. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My
word and obeyed My teachings, they will also keep and obey yours. But they will do
all this to you [inflict all this suffering on you] because of [your bearing] My name
and on My account, for they do not know or understand the One Who sent Me.
Introspection
1. Am I apt to go to the world for help first, or to God?
2. Can people see a difference in my life and know I am not of this world?
3. Do I think with a worldly mindset or a spiritual mindset?
26:00 - 58:59 There is nothing that the names of Jesus can't beat! All you need is
the name of Jesus and understand what that name does ... What you see is a gift is a
person who has their faith developed in a certain area ... Acts chapter 3 - - They were
not prayed up ... The enemy tries to bluff you - this is big and bad ... Man asked for
money not healing ... Peter said look at us. Jesus made us His representative ... What I
have I give you ... Step 1 - in the name of Jesus rise up and walk ... Step 2 - Take him
by the right hand ... Step 3 - lifted him up ... Step 4 - He received strength ... Maybe
you don't see the healing because you are not willing to step out and take the chance
of looking like an idiot ... If you are worried about how you will look - you have to
die more ... This has nothing to do with me (Peter) ... When the man was healed God
was glorified ... What healed the man? Faith in the name ... Who did you get saved?
By the name and faith in that name. Who exercised faith in the name when you got
saved? You did ... Who used the name and exercised faith in the name who got theman healed? Peter ... You are in the name; have the name; can use the name and the
name is yours. You are named after Him ... When a child of God speaks, heaven hears
and agrees and hell hears and obeys. You are God's Son - Mans servant - The devils
master ... Servants and Sons are two different classes of beings ... You heal because of
who you are ... Your job is to bring heaven to earth ... Sickness and disease comes
from - Sowing and Reaping; Attacks; Accidents
Meditation
Acts 4:12 (AMP) And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no
other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.
Philippians 2:9-11 (AMP) Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has
highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every
name, That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and onearth and under the earth, And every tongue [frankly and openly] confess and
acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Colossians 3:3 (AMP) For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and
your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.
5:42 - 10:50 The Baptism of the Spirit is no longer seen as important ... The Bap-
tism in the Spirit is for power ... If we have the same Spirit that Jesus had, that same
Spirit should produce the same works ... We need to get back to some of our roots -
Salvation; Sanctification; Baptism in the Spirit; Healing. If we are going to see a
move of God in these last days we need to return to these four things.
Meditation
Acts 1:8 (AMP) But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when
the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and
all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.
John 14:12 (AMP) I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even
greater things than these, because I go to the Father.
Hebrews 9:14 (AMP) How much more surely shall the blood of Christ, Who by
virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent divine personality] has offered
Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works
and lifeless observances to serve the [ever] living God?
1 Thessalonians 5:23 (AMP) And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you
through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and whollyconsecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and
complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
Introspection
1. Have I understand fully the principles of salvation; sanctification; Holy Spirit
39:00 - end God put all this stuff in the Bible ... The Sovereignty of God is not the
fickleness of God ... God wants you doing this ... God wants you to walk in more
power than you ever thought possible ... God wants to show off - He just can't find
someone to show off through ... We need to be a people who leave a legacy of faith ...
We must live a life worthy talking about. One that will draw people to God ....
Meditation
Matthew 5:16 (AMP) Let your light so shine before men that they may see your
moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and
honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.
2 Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV) For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout thewhole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.
In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”
Isaiah 55:11 (AMP) So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it
shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall
accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which
I sent it.
Introspection
1. Am I allowing God to show Himself strong through me?
33:30 - 44:03 "Every employer wants healthy workers" ... "If you don't love God
all things don't work together for your good" ... "Get the Word in you so it just comes
out" ... "Whatever is right for one must be right for all" ... "Jesus bore your sickness
and disease so you don't have too" ... "He allows whatever you allow because He put
this thing in your hands" ... T.L. Osborn - Don't ask God to do what He told you to do
- - Don't ask God to do what He has already done
Meditation
Romans 8:28 (NKJV) And we know that all things work together for good to those
who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Psalm 119:11 (NASB) Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin
against You.
Acts 10:34 (AMP) And Peter opened his mouth and said: Most certainly and thor-oughly I now perceive and understand that God shows no partiality and is no re-
specter of persons,
Psa. 8:6 (NLT) You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things
51:00 - end Two ways to get healing: (1) Get it for yourself (2) Get to someone who
can get it for you ... If it was sin before you were saved it is still sin after you got saved.
If an unsaved person has a problem and it is a devil. A saved person has the same prob-
lem it is a devil. A devil can inhabit your body and have nothing to do with your spirit...
The carnal mind is at war with God ... To be carnally minded is death... You can be born
again in spirit but your mind still be carnal ... No spiritual minded Christian ever died of
sickness or disease. If a Christian dies of sickness or disease it is because they are car-
nally minded... God recreates your spirit but you must renew your mind ... The devil can
only work through you through the carnal part of your mind ... You don't have an opinion
- you have a position ... When your mind is renewed you think, talk and agree with the
Word of God. And to the degree you don't think, talk and agree with the Word of God
your mind is not renewed ... The faster you annoy religious people the more your mind is
renewed because they get furious the more you speak Bible ... The representative can
only say what the one he represents says
Meditation
James 5:15 (AMP) And the prayer [that is] of faith will save him who is sick, and the
Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 (AMP) And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through
and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to
God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and
found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
James 4:4 (AMP) You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the
world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world’s
friend is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his
stand as an enemy of God.
Romans 8:6 (NKJV) For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded
is life and peace.
John 10:10 (AMP) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I camethat they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
Romans 12:1-2 (NASB) Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to
present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual
service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good
16:50 - 18:45 Jesus had to walk by faith just like you and I have to do. If He didn't
He couldn't please the Father. ... Walking by faith means that is always a possibility of
failure. If you truly walk in faith; truly the possibility of failure is not a real possibil-
ity. You must get to the point where you say - If God doesn't come through this whole
thing is going to fall apart ... I don't make provision to fail. I don't have a plan "B".
Plan "A" the Bible says this and we don't stop till we get there. You keep on going,
you don't stop. Faith knows what the end is going to be from the beginning ... Until
you get to the point of the impossible, you can't get into faith.
Meditation
2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV) For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he whocomes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who
diligently seek Him.
1 Thessalonians 5:24 (NLT) God will make this happen, for he who calls you is
faithful.
Hebrews 11:1 (NLT) Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually
happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
Introspection
1. Do I really live by faith?
2. Do I really believe God will do what He says?
3. Do I keep my "options" open?
4. Do I have the assurance I will "see" the things I "can't see"?
18:45 - 20:30 Why are we wasting our time? ... Why would I want to give my life
to something that is not real? ... The hardness of Christianity is not the rules the God
made. It is all the rules God didn't make, that Christians make that you have to live by
or else they don't think you are right. ... All humility is finding out what the Bible says
about you and you saying it yourself. ... You are worth Jesus to God. ... Everyone can
do it so no one can get in pride over it ... Know who you are in Christ. It doesn't mat-
ter what people say about you, it matters what HE says about you.
Meditation
Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in
Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Romans 12:3 (NLT) Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, Igive each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be
honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has
given us.
1 John 2:20 (AMP) But you have been anointed by [you hold a sacred appointment
from, you have been given an unction from] the Holy One, and you all know [the
Truth] or you know all things.
Introspection
1. Do I really believe all this "Christianity stuff" is real?
2. Do I believe this stuff so much I'm willing to die for it?
3. Do I live by man's rules or by God's freedom?
4. Do I concern myself with what people say about me?
0:00 - 3:20 Healing is not a reward - take the person out of the mix... They are no
longer a person, they are the sick; oppressed; a prisoner of war by satan. This is
warfare between two kingdoms... The person is nothing more than the battle field.Your job is to take the ground. The prisoner of war is never the problem. It is the
guards you have to deal with (the oppressor).
Meditation
John 10:10 (AMP) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I
came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it
overflows).
Acts 10:38 (NLT) And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the
Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who
were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
1 John 3:8 (NKJV) He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the
beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the
works of the devil.
Luke 4:18 (NIV) “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to
proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,
Introspection
1. When I look at a person, can I separate them from the oppression?
2. Do I understand my job is to set the captive free regardless of who they are; what
0:00 - 13:50 The Word of God is our ultimate rule for faith and action. At some
point we need a standard for living and that standard must be the Word of God... The
Word must be rightly divided in context ... The New Testament is in full force and
will remain in full force ... Look at everything in the Old Testament through the filter
of the New Testament ... God knows what He meant - The devils knows what He
meant - People are the only ones who have a question about it. The devils job is to get
you to question God's Word ... Before you doubt you have to be tempted to doubt...
God wants your will submitted to His will to do His will so together you both think
the same and your will and His will becomes the same ... The Holy Spirit guides you
into Truth not action. Your moral responsibility will fall upon your reaction to the
Truth. ... Whether your house falls or stands is up to you according to what you dowith the Word of God.... It is not up to God to lead you to do individual things. It is up
to God to bring you the Truth and for you to decide do the Truth or not.
Meditation
Psalm 119:89 (NKJV) Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that
needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.John 16:13 (AMP) But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit)
comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not
speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears
[from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will
announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the
future].
Philippians 2:13 (AMP) [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the
while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and
desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.
Hebrews 5:14 (AMP) But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses
and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between
what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or
22:00 - 23:00 For some reason we think Christianity is suppose to be comfortable.
Jesus never said your life would be comfortable. ... We must always be ready to
minister to someone in need. ... We must be ready to go in a moments notice.
Meditation
John 15:20 (AMP) Remember that I told you, A servant is not greater than his
master [is not superior to him]. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if
they kept My word and obeyed My teachings, they will also keep and obey yours.
2 Timothy 4:2 (NLT) Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is
favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good
teaching.
1 Peter 3:15 (AMP) But in your hearts set Christ apart as holy [and acknowledgeHim] as Lord. Always be ready to give a logical defense to anyone who asks you to
account for the hope that is in you, but do it courteously and respectfully.
Luke 6:31 (NLT) Do to others as you would like them to do to you.
Introspection
1. Do I seek to make my walk of faith as convenient as possible?
2. How do I prioritize my life of Faith?
3. Am I always ready to minister to someone even if it is inconvenient for me?
4. Do I treat others like I would want to be treated if I were in their situation?
5. Where do I put serving mankind on my priority list?
Mark 7:6-7 (NKJV) He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of
you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart
is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the
commandments of men.
John 4:24 (NLT) For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in
spirit and in truth.”
Comment:
I am seriously alarmed at the ignorance Christian have concerning the demonic;
occult; and spiritism. It is through ignorance or rebellion that the enemy has been able
to plague so many believers and their homes. Please take heed to Curry's comments.
In another of Curry's teachings, he stated that he received deliverance from over 20
demons that had occupied his flesh through his involvement in martial arts. Demonsthrive on ignorance and placing doubt into the minds of men. From native Indian
rituals to severe occultic activities, Christians subtly get sucked into these behaviors.
Do not be ignorant of the original intent of these practices. You are not immune just
because you are a Christian or attach another meaning to the behavior. Christians can
be demonized and it is a shame that we encourage it ourselves through ignorance or
unbelief. The kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of Light do not mix.
2 Corinthians 6:14 (AMP) Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not
make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them,
inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing
with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with
darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:15-17 (NLT) What harmony can there be between Christ and the
devil? How can a believer be a partner with an unbeliever? And what union can there
be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As Godsaid: “I will live in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be
my people. Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves
from them, says the Lord. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.
0:00 - 4:30 Generally speaking, the best method - the method you believe in is the
method that will work for you. There is no "only method" that Jesus gave. Sometimes
the way things happen is because that is how they were taught they would happen. If
you say this is the only way this thing can happen - that is wrong. Forgiveness andhealing are not tied together in the spirit realm. You have tied forgiveness and healing
together in the soulish realm because you have been taught that. .... God answers your
faith and if you believe it you will get it. Think biblically not religiously nor soulish.
The more accurate we get with the Bible the more it will work. So the idea is to strip
away all that isn't biblical.
Meditation
Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who
comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who
diligently seek Him.
Mark 11:23-24 (NLT) I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you
be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it
will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and
if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
Introspection
1. Am I trying to learn a method or learn the truth of Scripture?
2. Is my faith in a "method" or in the Word of God?
3. Am I stripping away what is not biblical or just trying to add more knowledge tomy already filled up head?
23:10 - 37:45 He is asking for mercy but he is wanting healing for his son. They
understood if we get mercy we get healed. "Why couldn't we cast this devil out?" ...
Because of your unbelief. Not because of their lack of fasting ... If you have faith you
shall speak - if you are not speaking you have no faith ... Speaking and faith are tied
together. You can't have faith and not have speaking ... Faith talks to the problem not
to God about the problem ... Great faith is only needed because of lack of relation-
ship. ... Faith isn't "taking a chance" it is a firm convection of the truth ... We use faith
like a currency and don't realize who we are talking about - who our faith is in. ....
Meditation
Psalm 23:6 (NKJV) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my
life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.
Matthew 17:20-21 (NKJV) So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; forassuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this
mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible
for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
2 Corinthians 4:13 (NASB) But having the same spirit of faith, according to what
is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak,
Luke 12:32 (NLT) “So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great
happiness to give you the Kingdom.
Introspection
1. Do I understand every failure is a faith (trust) failure?
2. When I speak what comes out? Faith or doubt?
3. Is my understanding of faith more in line with "taking a chance"?
4. Will I stick it out to the end or quit somewhere before the end?
47:40 - end Demons don't leave because you pray and fast ... Why couldn't we do
it? - Jesus answered because of your unbelief. ... Prayer and fasting is designed to
help you die to the things of the flesh ... The principles are the key not the method for
success... Prayer clothes ... You can't react to the person's situation ... Diseases and
demons have their own particular smell ... "Jesus I know there is nothing on the other
side of this door that me and you can't beat." ... It is what I believe that counts
Meditation
Matthew 17:21 (NKJV) However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and
fasting.”
Mark 2:18-19 (NLT) Once when John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting,
some people came to Jesus and asked, “Why don’t your disciples fast like John’sdisciples and the Pharisees do?” Jesus replied, “Do wedding guests fast while
celebrating with the groom? Of course not. They can’t fast while the groom is with
them.
Acts 19:11-12 (NLT) God gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles. When
handkerchiefs or aprons that had merely touched his skin were placed on sick people,
they were healed of their diseases, and evil spirits were expelled.
Introspection
1. Am I willing to use any method that is effective?
2. Do I allow the situation to affect my faith?
3. Am I willing to do whatever is necessary to set the captive free?
0:00 - 11:20 Remember, think general not specific. If you believe you have to be
specific, that is the law you made and you will have to live by that. Make your believ-
ing general, then you can command general and it will work. Dr. Simmerall - to be
good for anybody it has to be good for everybody. A teaching today is in order to gethealed (emotionally or physically) you must go back and break a generational curse.
If that is true of one - it has to be true for all. For it to be right - it has to be right all
the time for it to be a law or rule of God. ... If you don't have to do it every time then
you don't have to do it anytime. For it to be right for anybody it had to be right for
everybody. Don't allow your personal perspective to get in the way of ministry. Don't
focus on the problem when ministering - present the answer instead. I'm not here just
to impart knowledge, I here to help you develop a heart for God and a heart for your
fellow man. Even when knowledge fails you will push on because you love people. I
would much rather have someone with "heart" than with "head".
Meditation
Romans 2:11 (NLT) For God does not show favoritism.
Acts 10:34 (NKJV) Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that
God shows no partiality.
Philippians 3:13 (NLT) No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I
focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,
Introspection
1. Am I a "general" or "specific" type of person?
2. Do I understand "if it is right for one it must be right for all"?
3. Do I understand God doesn't show favoritism?
4. Do I realize if God did it that way for one He must do it that way for all?
5. Do I minister to others out of my "head" (knowledge) or "heart" (love)?
11:20 - 12:40 Intercessors are called along side the church to help the church and
give their input to the leadership. Intercessors should be operating in words of knowl-
edge; words of wisdom. ... This is an important point - I have been in a church where
an intercessor created a problem for the pastor because he didn't follow to the letter
her advice. She then caused a split in the church turning others against the pastor de-
claring him spiritually immature. Intercessors along with others are not part of the 5
fold ministry leadership given to the church by the Lord. We need to be careful not to
elevate people or giftings to a position that is not biblical.
Meditation
1 Corinthians 12:1-7 (NLT) Now, dear brothers and sisters, regarding your
question about the special abilities the Spirit gives us. I don’t want you to
misunderstand this. You know that when you were still pagans, you were led astrayand swept along in worshiping speechless idols. So I want you to know that no one
speaking by the Spirit of God will curse Jesus, and no one can say Jesus is Lord,
except by the Holy Spirit. There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same
Spirit is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service, but we serve the
same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in
all of us. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.
Ephesians 4:11 (NKJV) And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets,
some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
Introspection
1. Do I realize the gifts I have are not for me but to help other?
2. Do I get upset if my giftings are not received by others?
3. Do I feel more spiritually mature than others who don't have a similar gift as mine?
4. Have I allowed my giftings to cause hurt or division in the past?
If so, what am I doing now to keep that from happening again?
wards what you are trying to get. If you are praying for someone - they should no be
praying. Their prayer haven't helped them. Stop - you can't force water into a faucet
that is already on. When you are praying you are pouring out. The person coming for
prayer just needs to receive. .... If you get bogged down in details the enemy will keep
you bogged down for the rest of your life. ... The secret is Life - it is this divine life
that is in us that when it gets on someone else it drives out sickness and disease. The
more details you have to know the less power you are operating in. ... God decided to
live in man and if He did that then He can work through man. And our job is to just
get out of the way. Getting out of the way isn't just doing nothing and just let the
"Spirit move". As you renew your mind, that is you getting out of the way, cause you
are renewing your mind to Him and He is living through your mind and can actuallyflow through you more. Any struggle you have is in the carnal part of your mind that
has yet to be renewed.
Meditation
2 Peter 1:3 (NKJV) as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to
life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
Romans 12:1-2 (MSG) So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take
your everyday, ordinary life — your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-
around life — and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for
you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your cul-
ture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God.
You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you,
and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you downto its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed ma-
29:10 - 37:00 The anointing doesn't come and go it abides. It doesn't increase nor
does it decrease. The anointing is a person, the Holy Spirit. For the Holy Spirit to in-
crease through us we must decrease because the Holy Spirit is always the same. ...
The beginning of Christianity is when you cease being selfish. As long as you are
selfish you have not started in Christianity yet. ... We need to awake to righteousness,
realize what we have and take it to the world. We need to talk like Jesus, act like Je-
sus, because He wants to work through you. You say, but I'm not like that. There you
go again, get your mind off you. Stop thinking about you.
Meditation
1 John 2:27 (AMP) But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unc-tion) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have
no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you con-
cerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never
depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has
taught you [to do].
John 3:30 (NLT) He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and
less.
Galatians 2:20-21 (NLT) My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer
I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son
of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as
meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no

The covenant we are now in has better promises. Page 9 DHT manual - - " The
Corinthian Church was not a perfect church, as a matter of fact it was one of the most
messed up churches in the Bible. There was sin in the Corinthian church that Paul
said wasn’t even heard of among the heathen. With that in mind, remember that Paul
also wrote that the Corinthian Christians came behind no one when it came to
operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Note that even with the rampant sin in the
church, he did not say that what they were doing (the gifts) wasn’t real, he just told
them how to correct it and operate accurately." ... Quit trying to make God weaker
than the devil. Your unbelief doesn't stop my belief. ... Christianity should be
supernatural from start to finish. ... The Old Covenant is not the right operating
system for the New Creation. New Covenant is one of Grace not works; Love not
law; Power not do's and don'ts. You can't blend the together - that is why some many people are all messed up. Quit trying to explain it - demonstrate it. after you demon-
strate it they will want it... You can judge the fruit not the heart ... God is the most pre-
dictable person in the universe because He will only do His Word. ... Gifts can and
were operated by carnal Christians not spiritual Christians ... The gifts are not meat
they are milk
Meditation
Hebrews 8:6 (AMP) But as it now is, He [Christ] has acquired a [priestly] ministry
which is as much superior and more excellent [than the old] as the covenant (the
agreement) of which He is the Mediator (the Arbiter, Agent) is superior and more
excellent, [because] it is enacted and rests upon more important (sublimer, higher, and
nobler) promises.
1Cor. 2 - 3:5
Introspection1. Do I try to mix the Old with the New?
2. Do I believe God is predictable or unpredictable?
0:00 - 5:00 Every statement Jesus made about Himself, He made about you ... You
need to recognize your oneness with God ... Recognize your unity with God ... You
become that more and more as your mind is renewed to the word of God ... Love
God, love people and don't focus on you so much ... Discipline yourself - read, study, meditate but remember it is relationship with God
Meditation
John 17:20-23 (NKJV) “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me,
and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that Yousent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one
just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one,and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You
have loved Me.
Proverbs 16:9 (AMP) A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps
and makes them sure.
1 Corinthians 6:17 (NIV) But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in
spirit.
Introspection
1. Do I really understand my "oneness" with the Lord?
2. Do I believe I am in Christ and He is in me?
3. Am I so afraid if I don't have everything just right, I won't do anything?
4. Am I more concerned about performance over relationship?
If so, what steps can I take to break this in my life?
5:20 - end (Lesson on Meat and milk from DHT Training manual) ... All Christians
should be teachers ... If you do not understand your "righteousness" you will always
remain a babe ... A babe doesn't understand good and evil. A babe hasn't had their
senses exercised by use ... Growing up has something to do with doing something, not
just sitting and learning ... Until you do it is just theory ... Lets move on from just
always talking about faith in God ... At some point you need to quit talking about it
and do it ... The Spirit is always moving - we don't need to wait for the Spirit to move;
He is waiting for you to move ... Worship in spirit and truth - not a place; you are the
holy place ... What is the definition of meat? - To do the will of God is meat ...
Learning about the gifts is milk. But until you do the gifts they don't become meat.
Everything you hear is milk, you will never hear meat. The meat of the Word is to do
the milk of the word ... The milk is to hear the Word - The meat is to do the Word! ...
Every tradition of man points the finger at God ... The church puts the emphasis on
the readiness of the worker; Jesus only put the emphasis on the readiness of the
harvest ... The Spirit is your equipper, He just needs you to go so He can move
through you ... Healing is not a method; it is a Person ...
Meditation
1 Peter 2:2 (AMP) Like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly
desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and
grow unto [completed] salvation,
James 1:22 (NLT) But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says.
Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
James 2:18 (NLT) Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others havegood deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good
deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”
John 6:35 (NKJV) And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes
to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
5:10 - 6:18 The first key to any receiving is begin to believe. It is not a process it is
deciding to believe that is possible.... Tell God what you want and be serious about it -
don't play. ... Get on your face before God and stay there till it is gone. Most of our
problem is not whether God wants to do it but rather do we have the ability to stay
there till we get it.... Most people just don't stay there long enough until they get it.
The waiting isn't on God's part it is on your part.
Meditation
Hebrews 11:6 (AMP) But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfac-
tory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe thatGod exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him
[out].
Introspection
1. Do I really believe the Word is true or do I hope it is true?
2. Do I know the difference between hope and truth?
3. Am I willing to persevere until I see the thing come to pass?
4. Do I put "time limits" on the promises of God?
If so, why? What can I do to correct this problem?
5. The problem isn't on God's end - Do I really believe that?
6. I need to remember problems on my end are not "performance based" but may be
"relationship based. Do I really understand my relationship with the Father?
8:27 - 9:50 "Curry, how come it works for you when you do it and it doesn't work
for me?" ... It really have to do with - How much you go after it; How much you get
rid of those sacred cows; How much you just try to help people ... If there is
resistance - get used to it, that is what the Christian life is. In the early days the church
expected resistance. Now a days when we get resistance we think it is God holding us
back. Bottom line - it is Bible and you have to do it. If you keep doing it - it will
work.
Meditation
Luke 11:9 (AMP) So I say to you, Ask and keep on asking and it shall be given
you; seek and keep on seeking and you shall find; knock and keep on knocking and
the door shall be opened to you.
Mark 7:13 (AMP) Thus you are nullifying and making void and of no effect [theauthority of] the Word of God through your tradition, which you [in turn] hand on.
And many things of this kind you are doing.
Mark 12:31 (NKJV) And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor
as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
John 16:33 (NLT) I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here
on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have
overcome the world.”
Introspection
1. Am I "going after it" or only playing with it?
2. Do I believe "traditions" over "truth" that is hindering the effectiveness of the Word
of God in my life?
3. Am I more concerned for other peoples needs than my own?
23:38 - 25:12 Shepherds don't produce sheep; sheep produce sheep. Shepherds are
to teach you how to win sheep and how to reproduce sheep. The pastor isn't suppose
to disciple everybody, you are suppose to disciple ... You birth them, you raise them
Meditation
Ephesians 4:11-13 (NLT) Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the
apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their
responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and
knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full
and complete standard of Christ.
Introspection
1. Am I doing the work of ministry? Am I winning and discipling people?
If not, what changes can I make?
2. Do I make myself available to be equipped by the pastor?
36:45 - 38:42 I don't live by sowing and reaping. Sowing and reaping is a natural
law. Anybody can sow and reap but you can't sow yourself out of a crisis. The whole
idea of sowing and reaping is you sow; then there is a growth time; then there is a har-
vest time. I live by Kingdom principle, I don't live by natural earthly law I live by
Kingdom law. Kingdom law is: I have whatever I need, whenever I need it because
everything in the kingdom is mine.
Meditation
2 Peter 1:3-4 (NLT) 3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need
for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one
who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises.
These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the
world’s corruption caused by human desires.
Romans 8:32 (NKJV) 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up
for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Introspection
1. How do I live my life? Am I trying to meet my own needs? Am I sowing and reap-
ing to meet my needs?
2. Do I believe I already have "all things" in Christ?
3. Do I give knowing that me needs are already met?
