Namely 1891 shall be considered the onset of epidemiological TB surveillance in Russia.1911 1911 – including of TB registration data to general ambulatory cards that contained data about localization, TB in the family, housing conditions19181918 – opening of Section on TB control in the People’s Health Commissariat in the RSFSR19211921 – establishment of the State TB Institute of the People’s Health Commissariat RSFSR, currently CTRI RAoMS. Since 1926 the State TB Institute calculates the TB mortality rate for 17 cities with population over 100 thousandSoviet periodSoviet period,, at the beginning of 50s of XX century the basics for TB monitoring were laid: TB recording forms were developed and used, reporting forms were adopted and are in use since 1975 allowing tracing the quality TB control and making efficient decisions
