Ex post evaluation of government action in Germany: Different actors with specific tasks

• Federal Parliament (2016): 226 reporting requests towards government listed about 80 sectoral reports p.a.• Fed. Court of Auditors/Fed. Performance Commissioner (2016): 203 reports published + 308 drafts received• Federal Constitutional Court (2016): 11 juridical reviews of legislation• Fed. Government (2016): 83 out of 308 initiatives subject to ex post-evaluation 3-5 years after implementation
