CONDUCT OF CY 2018 4th QUARTER NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED)

TO: Division Chiefs Public Schools District Supervisors Elementary, Junior and Senior High School Heads DRRM School Coordinators

1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 48, s. 2012, entitled, "Quarterly Conduct of the National School Based Earthquake and Fire Drills", the Department of Education with partner agencies, the Department of National Defense, members of the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council, all public and private schools, and DepEd offices and attached agencies are enjoined to undertake the Quarterly Conduct of the National School-Based Earthquake and Fire Drills.

2. This activity aims to generate the highest level of awareness among the public on Disaster Risk Reduction/Climate Change Adaptations concerns and to assess the capacity level of the

school and the community in the eventuality of disasters and emergencies.

3. In line with this, the field is hereby informed to participate in the conduct of CY 2018 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on November 5, 2018 at 8:00 AM.

4. A narrative report for this activity shall be submitted to the Division Office and thru email at [email protected]: Attention: Reyzen 0. Monserate, PDO II! Division DRRM Coordinator on or before November 12, 2018.
