T. C. via Cine MetropoleTheatre road for alighting the passengers withdirection that these buses shall take stop in frontof D’Costa Chambers in between Kitchen SolutionShop and J. K. Tyres Unique Distribution and theShuttle Service Bus drivers/operators not to parkthe buses on the road which may cause obstructionfor other vehicles, and should move the bus as soonas alighting the passengers, as the said roadcarrying vehicular traffic on either sides.
And whereas, the Dy. General Manager (Traffic)vide letter dated 9-4-2010 has stated that the trafficcongestion which was taking place near theCollectorate, Municipality and in front of the StateBank of India has been reduced considerablyresulting into smoother traffic flow. Also thisarrangement has helped KTCL, as the buses afteralighting the passengers at Metropole Theatre wereable to reach back at Margao Bus Stand, whichresulted into availability of more number of busesat Margao Bus Stand and thereby, the queue at thepassenger counter awaiting for buses to proceed toPanaji & Vasco has been reduced considerably andas such requested to make it permanent.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powersconferred on me under Section 112 and 116 of theMotor Vehicle Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988)read with Government Notification No. 5/28/88/TPT(part) dated 26th September, 1989, I, G. (6) The persons other than the applicantwinning the bid should deposit one year’s leaserent and also double the costs incurred by theapplicant for processing the file on the spot. TheEMD in such a case will be adjusted against theabove payments. In case successful bidders fail todeposit one year’s lease rent and double the costsincurred by the applicant for processing the file onthe spot, in such a case the EMD deposited shall beforfeited. In such case the second highest bidderand so on will be considered for acceptance oftheir bids and fulfillment of payment conditions aslaid down.
