PRAYER TO END THE DEATH PENALTY (AND RESPECT FOR LIFE - FROM THE WOMB TO THE TOMB)
Merciful Father, hear our prayers for those affected by the death penalty. We pray that those on death row may come to acknowledge their faults and seek reconcilia on with you. Send healing to the families of those facing execu on. And Lord, comfort the vic ms of violence and their families with your peace which surpasses all understanding. Guide us as we work to end the use of the death penalty, and move our hearts to recommit ourselves to building a culture of life in our community. We ask this through the intercession of St. Maximilian Kolbe. Amen.
Amen.

Hello, my name is Alberto Rodriguez and I am a prospective Eagle Scout from Troop 371 from here at St. Dominic Savio. Currently, I am working on collecting books and constructing bookcases for the parish's WeCare After-school program and I would like to ask for your help in this project. I am asking for your kind donation of books for children between the grades of TK and 6th grade. I will be attending the Sunday Masses on October 23 to introduce myself and collect any donations and I will also be leaving a box in the parish office until October 30th if you would like to leave a donation there. If you wish to contact me, my phone number is (562) 714-4054 and I want to thank you for your attention and I hope you have a blessed day!
